While it sounds good the reality is that finding land that you can actually have one is beyond difficult. Most places require a home to be a larger square footage. I wanted a small home and it was impossible to find a place that would allow it. I wish this would change but as it stands now finding a place is so difficult.
Land can be difficult to get for sure, are you working with a real estate agent to help? Having the right realtor on your side can be a huge help, I would be happy to connect you with a realtor to look more into your situation
@@hatchmanloans No thank you I wound up buying a home already was fortunate to get a really good deal. Land was not the problem. The problem was building on the land what they would allow. I was finding just endless problems with it being a tiny home.
Yeah, that's something you need to check for before signing the contract. There's not a lot that's good about Kentucky, but they are REALLY lax about what you can do with your own property. @LadyGTarot
Let me help people in California calculate: Land=200k Permits =70k Septic= 80k Grading/foundation: 60k Required Sprinklers/solar=60k Bribe to get you permit in under 2 years=30k All in you will need 300k before you can buy and install this 120k tiny home
You will never get the permits for the incinerator toilet… you either have heavy duty costly engineered septic or city hookups. They won’t permit a build that does not have one or the other. That’s why you will find cheap lots that are under $200k and wonder why they are half price if the others and it turns out city hookup is miles away and the lot won’t perc so it’s useless for residential
Straight up real numbers is the only way I know how, I will always be first to tell you if you are getting a better deal elsewhere, but if you need a little more guidance and some extra help I can help make homeownership happen for you
I can get you on path to homeownership, its more affordable than you may realize, but you wont know until you try. You can book some time with me here if you want to chat more - tr.ee/msOYlh9Xl2
I've seen this prefab TH from Zenni on several other channels. I love the Citizen model but would utilize the office/ work room as my designated bedroom. Don't really need that number of windows but not sure that can be changed as it's prefab. A bit of privacy & wall space is better for me. It's fairly priced compared with many other companies' homes.
Wow, I absolutely love the style and the look of this tiny home. It is beautiful. Would be perfect for an ADU. Guest house or man cave. You can have a party in there without messing up your house.
Where’s the Solar? Thank Goodness I have a tiny home on wheels with solar, propane and a incinerating toilet. I can pick up and move out if a big storms is coming and or if I just feel like it. Under 100k and pretty. To each its own. Don’t get ripped off out here people do your research!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate seeing everything available. Median price for a home in western Washington is now 600k. Thanks for showing this! Great video. People complaining either haven't looked at homes lately, bought their house years ago before this insanity housing price climb started, or have too much time on their hands. 😂 TY!
One hundred thousand dollars for hundred and twenty square feet is absolutely ridiculous. Trying to pass this off as affordable housing Should be considered fraud
Anywhere you want, though, the good news is that there are several other homes all over the United States available for sale now if this one doesn't work for what you want. Life is yours to choose how you want to live it gramps
Extra costs land, foundation, sewer, water, electric, and insurance. Almost no companies will insure tiny homes. All this will cost almost as much if not more than the tiny home.
that's 40 grand deposit in my currency. these need to be available for people on low incomes. you would have to be quite privileged to even have that deposit available to you unfortunately.
Have the land, No HOA, water near by, septic ok with city. Like the 2 bed room. Do not know how much shipping would cost to central Iowa. Or will they ship to central Iowa. May 23, 2024
Respect, brother. I think it's a cool product. But I don't think $300K is affordable. You can buy a really nice full sized house where I live for $200K. I don't know how people are doing it. Times is hard.

16x20 is not a tiny house. people get it wrong- a tiny house should feel tiny and if youre someone that doesn't like feeling cramoed, stop following the trend and live in a normal house!
@@eattherich9215please I’ve lived in much smaller places and have been able to do all that and more comfortably! Have you ever practiced entire dance routines in a 3’ by 3’ room that already has a full size bed, mini refrigerator and a desk in it? I have. Most apartments are 20’ by 16’ and they’re not legally considered tiny houses. You’re probably so accustomed to living in a large space that this feels tiny to you but trust, many have lived in smaller and are capable of fully functioning all the time. Sounds as if you don’t know any better but wanted to be heard for whatever reason. And then you bring up too small for most people- not everyone is meant to go tiny! Most only do it cause it’s trendy and that’s the dumbest reason to do anything. If you don’t want to go tiny cause 20’ by 16’ is too small for you, than you don’t really know what it is to go tiny or why most that actually want to do it go through with it. It’s about having less. I have a roommate and I only use one bowl, one pan, one cup, one pot, one fork, one spoon, one knife, and one cooking spatula. He however has at least thirty of each thing. When I finish using any of my single dishes, I immediately wash them and put them in my room. After he uses a single dish, he puts it in the sink and grabs a clean one. After two days the sink is full and he has so many dishes to do. I’m the right person to live tiny. He isn’t. You clearly aren’t. Most aren’t because they choose to live a life of excess and have far too many possessions that are pointless. Only those who actually want to art with 90% of their possessions and live the simplest life ever should be in tiny houses. If that ain’t for you, please don’t come harping on my comment just cause you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Great video and loan information at the end!

2 Citizens side by side or stacked. Add a rooftop deck please. Im interested.

The fact that they incorporated Ori Living in the build gets two thumbs up from me. Starting at $90k for all that is very reasonable.
The Ori systems are an upgrade.
@@eattherich9215 Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification.
I like everything but the toilet being in the shower and even the price is reasonable.
Toilet being in the shower might be a Japanese thing. I know a lot of th he time the face sink can be pushed to the wall to hide the toilet.

I love these. But where can you put them? In a tiny house park? Are they on wheels?
Pretty much anywhere you can make these work - they are not on wheels you will need to get someone to install it on a foundation
So $238k total for a 300sq ft box? Cmon son
