- In this video, I explain ALL of the content required for the "Survival and Response" section for AQA A Level Biology. This includes: phototropism, geotropism/gravitropism, taxis, kinesis and reflexes. Time stamps are in the comments and the content crosses over with other exam boards too!
I also go through a few exam questions on the topic and explain the mark schemes.

Hi, it's just shorthand for saying that a woodlouse makes more turns when searching for a favourable environment and therefore makes less turns for an unfavourable environment. I hope this makes more sense! :)
do we need to know about rheotaxis?
It's a good idea to learn the types of taxis mentioned in the video so that you're prepared for exam questions - but the crucial thing to understand is how taxis work in general.
