    00:34 = What is homeostasis?
01:18 = Why body temperature needs to be controlled
02:14 = Why blood pH needs to be controlled
02:44 = Why blood glucose concentration needs to be controlled in terms of water potential
    04:19 = Negative feedback + positive feedback
06:25 = Exam questions and mark schemes

10:13 with question B isn’t that a different topic (skeletal muscles) because what does that have to do with homeostasis

It is a different topic, but you are assessed on how you can link topics together, especially in paper 3 :)

hey if blood glucose concentration is high wouldn't that lower the water potential in the cell so cause more water to come into the cell rather than out ?

Hi! Blood and body cells are separated (by cell membranes) so a high blood glucose concentration would lower the blood's water potential, therefore water will move out of the cells and into the blood by osmosis. Hope this makes more sense :)

Not made any sence there is already lower water potential in cells why water will fall out of cells from lower to higher ?plz
      Clear this
