I'll reiterate from the video: It's ok if you're not happy with the result of an update, and it's ok to offer critique to DE(they want critique, if you can provide actual constructive criticism, they're all for it). But when you venture into the realm of brainless, thumb-sucking hatred and actually get upset to the point of anger bc DE didn't measure up to your unrealistic fantasy expectations? You need to move on and find another game.
Thumb sucking hatred? Pointing out that with 29 years experience as a high level developer and I would not accept that their very severe breaking of several rooms of my 2 years of work, then excuses that they couldn't fix it (which is bull), and they put the burden on us to fix their mistake is brainless, thumb sucking hatred? OK. First, I don't hate DE, I agree that Dojos are not and can not be their priority, never wanted anything from them besides the spawn pad (9 months late and still not in time for my feature) and maybe a little more than a clumsy 2 minutes of air time of my All Star Dojo after watching 15+ minutes of 2D fan art fawning every weekly stream. Lumping me in with people crying about decoration that accidentally got in or are mad they still don't have NPCs, or some other crazy feature that would be tremendous amounts of time to create seems ridiculous to me, but it is your community, so do what you like. I am a professional developer. That was BS. They broke it, they should have fixed it, and I KNOW they could have. I am 2 hours into fixing it (only because I want to capture some videos before I abandon it all) and I am still not 1/10th done. Some things I will maybe never be able to fix because the raisins are now under the floor or god knows where...? Next time you quote me, maybe you should include my entire post. I stand by what I said and I stand by my opinion that it was an unacceptable excuse they made for not fixing their mistake. Oh, and maybe next time share the screen pic of the post where I describe in detail how they would find and fix the problem ... maybe share that with them. If calling them on actual lies and that it is unrealistic for them to undo their giant mistake instead of wasting my time and energy, then that is not a tool I want to use. I was never mad about them not adding anything other than what they promised (the spawn pad) and I did express that it was obvious they didn't want to (or even have much incentive to) do more with the Dojo system. So, yes, I agree, if the tool doesn't make you happy, time to move on. I am and I have. :-) Peace, yo. Hope you get the All Star soon, you deserve it. I do think you are being somewhat unreasonable here to lump together anyone that has expressed issues with DE as brainless, thumb sucking haters ... I mean, isn't that what you are claiming we are doing to DE? Hmm.
The worst part of the dojo community is that if you give leadership to a person on warframe, that doesn't like you. They can destroy everything and kick everyone out, and DE doesn't even fix it, either sadly.
No... They don't want critique. People have been suggesting constructive criticism about a subject for years. DE just don't listen anymore. That one stream I saw. I think tennocon 2021. Where they said I kid you not "bugs is part of Warframe's charm". I... Don't like seeing bugs. It's cute for a few times but the frequency of it happening at replicable scenario is not pleasant. Game breaking bugs where your control locks up, animation glitches, immunity phase glitches, quest lock ups preventing your progress, and many more. After I was done with the New War and liking the new stuff like the drifter and a new orbiter location. Seeing potential for a Grinneer VS Corpus PvP in conclave. I love that but... then after the quest. It's like nothing changed Gameplay wise. It's the same old thing. I feel not motivated to stay in the game for long. I see myself playing for a few stuff then hoping back to Borderlands 3's loot grind. 3 years of development of the quest and portion of it is incomplete(e.g. Dojo additions which is time thay could've been used to add new gameplay). I don't know what to say about that. I want the game to be at it's best. I don't see DE with the same love to the game as their players have. I feel like they want to move to something else at this point. We meme about the game time and time again because there's nothing left say. They only listen when there's enough people pissed about the game. The hate may have started with the community but DE perpetuate the hate with their decisions. Been playing for 5 years loving the world and I hate to see it burning like this.
My question is... Why does anyone expect them to add anything to dojos? Clans literally provide nothing to the game aside from blueprints they could add into the market like other blueprints. I've played this game for well over 4 years and the game itself has nothing to do after about MR 8 aside from collecting stuff and dressing up real pretty for yourself. The sense of accomplishment is pretty much lost, for most people who've played for a long time, after nothing really interesting happens in updates and they just copy and paste old content without bringing back or showing progress that they're working on some of the interesting modes that they released and removed. I love warframe and have supported them for a long time with just playing the game and occasionally spending money when I get a really good discount for a small amount of platinum but the game itself has nothing really interesting to do in its current state. All players that are like me, can only wait till the next update and grind for a few days to get all the new items to not play for a while because they don't have a good way to retain player count outside the short time after an update when, I believe, they could honestly have that update player count, or close to it, if they had something interesting to do during those downtimes. Personally, I'd love to see clans and alliances given a purpose other than a repository for BP they couldn't shove anywhere else in the game. Maybe bring back some of those old game modes, revamped so they work better to generate more things to do and maybe more ways to get those items they have no idea where to put. I feel that DE needs to decide what they want to do, in terms of a progression system that isn't a meaningless number that doesn't really do anything. I think there will be a constant flow of players to a point, but if the game continues with a copy pasted, new weapon, new frame, outlook, I feel those numbers will decrease at a steady and slow rate until warframe only has a small active playerbase. I hope this next update does something in terms of giving players a sense of progress or does something to the game to maintain player count between updates, but with how things are going, I genuinely don't think they will. If they go in the direction of making clans a bigger part in the game, then it might strike up more unity in the game, as communities are what keeps games alive. A system to make events for clans, clan warfare, bringing back dark sector captures, something to make clans more active instead of dead chats that take up space in the UI where you can get some blueprints or take people when you need a trade. Most players I've seen that are MR 30 or higher, just stop playing after they're done with update content, which isn't good for a games longevity. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this cause I honestly think making more community based content could make the playerbase higher.
my new favourite wartuber video. very honest and accurate. Warframe definitely has an elitism/cynicism problem. It is very easy to point out issues of the game, and I've done it too. Part of that is wanting the game to be better is ways we wish it was, but it's literally not feasible when it comes down to it. Dev time isn't free, not every design decision is the most perfect one, and mistakes DO happen. It took me a few thousand hours to accept what the game is.
E x a c t l y. I don't discourage the critique of Warframe's development, only the crazy unrealistic expectations people have for it, especially for dojos. I used to think that like you and I, after enough time people would come to understand and share that point of view, but it's evident to me that's not how this community works. I just really hope that somehow we can all be better in the future. We'll see. Thank you for your thoughts.
Most online games have some form of elitism and I can agree, it's easy to point out issues with games. I'd be perfectly happy with this update if they didn't just copy and paste the bounties with new enemies. I've played, off and on, for years now and I've not felt that the game is up to snuff most times because it's almost always the same thing. I honestly thought the detective stuff in glassmaker was cool and wished they had more lore stuff like that. I wish they would fix and bring back some other modes too, like raids and such. Even having an updated form of dark sectors would be cool but I just don't have a feeling of accomplishment with milestones in warframe now. If they do something with how the drifter worked in NW, like maybe customized equipment abilities that you can craft, similar to the abilities of the drifter in NW, I'd love to come back to the game and would likely spend a lot longer than a few days on it, but, as of now, I don't like what they did after the update. If they bring back some old modes or make new modes to hold over players between updates besides the PvP and minigames like flappy zephyr and stuff like that, I'd probably spend a long time doing those as well. I just want to see more from warframe than the copy and paste system that I've seen for the past 4+ years with stuff coming and going to never be seen again.
i think it all started with channels like rahetalius and whatnot and their negative coverage on DE gaining traction and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, DE has made some terrible decisions in the past, but it created this sort of culture where hating on the game makes you look cool.
and that's what's so crazy. because the youtubers ripping on the game are the same people who always complain about a nerf or balance change as if balancing and nerfing things isn't just a normal thing developers do in multiplayer games to keep things fair. and they will have way more than a couple thousand hours in the game, yet all they do is complain even when DE has been extremely open and transparent with how they plan to move forward with something
My friend saw the new dojo decor and somewhat was mad about them being removed but I'm just meh about it. I never saw the decor so I wouldn't know but honestly, ABOUT TIME WE GOT MORE GRINEER STUFF STILL!!
what i don't understand is how people can be that mad about this. these decorations will be added properly later on anyway. just have some patience, they're literally working on them xd
@@williamzinedineh I'm years late in every comment thread, but yeh, the people who were throwing a fit may have not really understood what happened and maybe they simply thought DE had changed their minds about offering this selection of decorations.
I started playing Warframe exactly two years ago, so late 2019. I think it was around the Railjack update and I tangentially saw a lot of unhappiness from the community. I wasn't familiar with the game so I didn't look into but I noticed a sort of "Warframe is dying" sentiment. Needless to say two years have passed and I've yet to see it die. So after watching your video and pointing out the people who only know how to bitch and moan I wonder if they are just victims to sunk cost where they can't cut their losses so they keep crying how "Warframe is dying". I wonder if any other veterans can confirm that this game has been "dying" for years. :) I do agree that criticism is necessary but I always feel reluctant to say anything too loud because I don't want to attract people like that Life of Rio guy. There is criticizing things that really are bad (underwhelming frames like Yareli, unfair business like the Regal Aya stuff) and then there is going LOL BUGFRAME DE MAKE SHIT GAME. If Warframe is so shit uninstall and move on. Unfortunately hate sells and it is easy to create a circlejerk frenzy where everyone just yells "BAD GAME". Thank you for this video! I am not a dojo person but I like to see opinions of the wider community.
I think you're spot on with the "dying" sentiment, that's been floated for years, it's quite annoying. I got a chuckle from the all cap joke video title you put there, it's pretty true to form for what is used these days, and it is precisely what I hate. Yes criticism is necessary and should happen, but yes the result is often something entirely different and lacking in a point. I'm surprised someone that isn't from the dojo community watched this, but thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
Something in the general direction of this behavior happens in pretty much every game that exists for a while, and in many other places too. Non-game example: At a popular fantasy themed Renaissance fair in my country, the organization found that a hard core of extremely snobbish cosplayers were running the fun for everyone else to the point that nobody would even recommend new people to the event. So they made a few changes to the setup to give "dem cazuls" some space too. Almost everyone enjoyed it for actually enhancing the sense of community for everyone. So the fanatics started complaining, boycotting and whatnot because the organization ruined Their Festival. The worst of them walked out, and the wholesome growth continued for another year. Commercial growth went hand in hand, too. Moral of the story, if the haters actually do walk out as promised, everyone is happier for it. So don't be making that promise lightly!
Partial vet here, 2.1K Hours in game with 4.5 years attendance. I can tell you, i am pretty happy with the game and my... *_expenditure._* that said, Warframe is actually the only title that i've spent more money on than necessary. I am someone who easily bitches about a lot of game mechanics and microtransactions. Yet on the other hand, i am also someone who can appreciate games despite their faults and failings and Warframe is just not as much of a failure as everyone makes it out to be. i can tell you, this is still one of the best free to play games i have ever had the pleasure of playing, especially after "demoing" (read: pirating) tens, if not hundreds, of full priced AAA games that were 1000x worse than what they should have feasibly ever been. in my mind, while warframe is obviously not THE perfect be-all-end-all F2P game, it clearly has the stuff that's necessary to make a dream reality. actually, now that i'm thinking about it, with the approximately 20 odd hours of thoroughly enjoyable directly story related content and all that jazz... Warframe is a lot better than many story based RPG's, shooters and what else i've played (or watched) in the last decade. The only games i've played (or watched) in the last decade that were comparable (or better) to Waframe in both story and enjoyability: OMORI (Happy 1st Anniversary), Undertale, The entire Metro series, The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, Pokemon B&W1+2, C&C Tiberium Wars and Red Alert, Ace Combat 4-7 and Divinity 2: ego Draconis. like, there's barely any link between these games, other than the fact that they have a marvellous, often times Sci-Fi/Fantasy inspired, story to tell and that they have amazing music.
Wow I was unaware there were going to be more assets besides the Narmer set. Its cool that they are prepping these assets. Kuva assets would also be nice. Also I dig your builds man, very cool stuff.
It's a good habit to make, on updates, to check the decoration list and dojo room list every time. You'd be surprised just how often something slips through a touch too early, or just how many dojo changes go undocumented. Glad you like my stuff! Kuva assets are in the works btw.
@@VashCowaii are there really? I saw the sea lab assets and was lucky enough to place them. But I don't think I've had the chance to see any other grineer themed decorations in the listing beyond that?
As someone that decorates their dojo I know what I want... Noclip for the camera/axis prop movement. But my developer side starts moaning and groaning since I know how much effort it takes to add mundane shit into the game, like a toggle. Bless console commands whenever you can man, else it's a UI nightmare.
And it's fine to want those things, and it's fine to express that and it's fine to offer up critique to DE, I don't want you to think I'm discouraging any of that. If you didn't glean from the video, the real problem comes in when people have unrealistic expectations that have evolved beyond "I wish for this" and generate actually anger towards DE when they aren't met.
I didn't know there was a big Dojo community. Also, The "DE hate train" comes from about 5 to 6-ish years of major letdowns and fuckups has left the players a bit jaded.
You'd be surprised, the dojo community is much bigger than anyone thinks it's just not very united, as some people place down a couple trees and expect to be praised for hard work, and some spend 30+ hours on detailed recreations or transformations involving 1k+ pieces. There are different levels to everyone's participation in it, and for whatever reason, the larger part of the dojo community does not share information which is another frustration entirely and why this channel was made as a sort of FU to that. This channel probably represents the largest "unified" dojo community, so even still, not large at all. But despite that, when the complaints pour in, they pour in from e v e r y w h e r e lmfao. And I understand where the hate originates, what I don't understand is how it persists. Anyone who continues to play this game is already fully aware of DE's speed and development process, there's no way around that, which is why in the vid I say expecting anything other than what you've already seen, basically, is insanity. That's the big part I don't get. :(
It just screams entitlement that they're complaining about DE pulling unfinished content before it's ready. "How in touch is DE with their game" also just screams entitlement. I hate the notion that all new content should not try to change the game meaningfully or that DE shouldn't deviate from the current state of the game and experiment with new ideas. This is a perpetual service game. They have to continually innovate or the game will actually die. And they won't always succeed, and that's okay, so long as they know how they failed
It also screams entitlement from just the sheer amount of people not realizing that this is by all means an amazing free to play game, Sure grindy as fuck but its free, like back in the day I was excited to play korean mmos 30 times as grindy just because I was poor and they were free.
I agree that people are rolling around crying about the unfinished decorations being removed, I agree that it's a little frustrating that they got removed. But most of all, I agree with the crayon analogy.
I haven't slept so I laughed for like a solid 5 minutes at the bit you said on the crayon. The setup for that, that was great. Glad you enjoyed my description of decoration in today's Warframe.
I personally love building in the dojo, and while I of course wish there were some new things, I think working with what you're given is entirely more fun.
As an avid dojo decorator my self I seen the new [PH] decorations and was super stoked to finally build a grineer themed room in my dojo so I clear space and build a new room for it and come back the next day to see them all removed, it was kinda a big disappointment for me, however you are the 1st youtuber I have seen talk about that slip up from DE and I had to dig hard through the forums to get any sort of information on what happened. That being said there is really only 1 thing I would like to see added to dojo's and that would be some sort of open market trade room ware it links to all other trade rooms in other dojos that allows clan members to put tradable things up for sale on for a set amount of time (cost creadits) as well as browse what other people have put up and buy right from the open trade market with out ever having to interact directly with other players. This would also give players like my self that don't have the time or just hate the whole trade chat system they currently have in place another option that will still work even when off line, you just place up for sale and check back some time later to see if it sold or not. Something you put up gets sold or the time expired before it was sold then a message gets sent to your inbox with the platinum you asked for or the item you posted (no credits are refunded if sold or not, it's the price to pay for convenience )
DE: adds thousands of updates over years, transforming the game into something of such scale, quality, and diversity that it is unrecognizable when compared to its original concept Player: WHAT THE FUCK? I CAN MAKE THIS PROP I PLACED REALLY SMALL. THESE ARE THE WORST DEVELOPERS OF ALL TIME!!!1!!1!
WHY CAN I NOT LAND ON CERES AND CONSTRUCT MY BASE THERE DE?!?! I LIKE THAT SKYBOX, SO I WOULD LIKE MY GUILD HOME ON CERES INSTEAD OF LAME DOJO, ITS SO EASY WHY CANT YOU MAKE THAT HAPPEN I AM GAME DEV IT TAKE ME ONE DAY, JUST ONE DAY Unironically, while I don't remember everything he said perfectly, this was feedback on the forums once upon a time. This is legit the reason I say this game is not Space Engineers.
DE realizes warframe will never be truly difficult so nothing is scales to full retard proportions warframe community: WTF WHY ISNT THERE PLATINUM PATH WITH 9999 LEVEL ENEMIES REQUIRING GOD RIVENS TO KILL?
I absolutely agree with everything you've said as a free to play player thats been playing for years I feel like you've hit the nail on the head with this video but unfortunately this whole generation is becoming more soft and they can't do anything but complain about anything and everything it's so sad
The thing I really can't say for certain is if it's generational or not. I'm not that old, only 25, I don't really feel like I'm that far off from the people complaining and moaning about things, I'm probably in the same age bracket. I feel like it's largely this game, because in my experience at least(and I could be wrong) this level of hatred just doesn't happen to other games, not that I have seen. To some degree, I have to wonder if it's because of the extent of DE's community involvement. They are FAR more involved and communicative with their community than other game I've played, and I wonder if that's spoiled us. Idk if that makes sense, just something I think about now and then.
I can't stand content creators that shit on the game for views, and still continue to cover WF content. People would rather cry about any small cracks in the system for each update than to enjoy all the good that comes with it.
LMAO same. I just don't get it. Reminds me of this comic where a guy is playing a game and he throws his controller at the ground and says he's never playing it again. After two panels of pacing around the room, the last panel shows him playing the game again.
@@KIREEKPSO Ah good ol Kireek, I wondered when you would come crawling around. What a grand conspiracy you've uncovered: years ago I've made harsh comments, but you're blissfully skipping past the fact that after a certain point, I stopped. It's been some time since then, I have gotten to better understand the development process, I've been able to work with DE towards dojo changes, and the above. So, yet again, skip the entrapment routine, be it on here or in discord, and go back baiting people into believing you have any fraction of weight to throw around. You act as if looking into the past will actually matter with me, but it won't. Good luck.
It's so true. Most people are cool and then there's this small subset of absolutely jaded, angry bitter nerds who just want to hang out on some discord server or region chat sometimes and just hate everything about warframe and it's like Guys. Guys. Why don't you play a different game if you hate this one this much? We are all having fun here and obviously you aren't so why don't you just...go somewhere else?
Like legit, there's a thousand things I wish I could do in a dojo but like...I'd prefer new story quests, weapons, warframes, in game locations, npcs, vehicles, mission types......
Like legit, there's a thousand things I wish I could do in a dojo but like...I'd prefer new story quests, weapons, warframes, in game locations, npcs, vehicles, mission types...I could go on but I think I've made my point.
Watching people come and go within the community makes me sad.. As someone that still plays the game unironically just for the decoration aspect, I can understand how upsetting getting my dojo creations screwed over because of an update or not having my expectations met, so much so that I just stop getting excited over new dojo updates. That being said, It never crossed my mind that I am entitled to the things that I want for DE to add to the game because I understand that decoration is never the main selling point of warframe. I'm honestly already happy with the fact that the decoration is even acknowledged by DE and being supported at all. I remember the times when people just enjoy making stuff on their dojo and sharing it to the community, it was a much simpler time.
You act as if nowadays are any different than those times you look on fondly. The only difference between now and then is dojo changes actually happen now, that's it, that's the only difference, otherwise it's the same people with the same complaints since 2018.
@@VashCowaii It's true tho, there were a lot less things to work with so people complain less about decorations and when people want something added or changed in the game, it was an actual discussion about what things could or should be. The standards for good decorating were also not as high as it is now and there were no competition so people were less pressured when decorating and just freely share their creations. People were more excited to get the chance to be featured on prime time than complain about what needs be added to the game. Time were, in fact, much simpler. Don't get me wrong tho, people were just as critical about things DE released but it never resort to dev bashing, at least not that I'm aware of. And no, I'm not saying that the state of decorating was better than what we currently have because that's definitely not the case. There are a lot more asset that players get access to and some QoL features that has been introduced to the game right now that makes decorating way better. It's just that people's attitude towards things were more laid back and more "it is what it is". The player base only really start to get aggressive after they receive one broken update after another over the years and that include decorators.
Dude you are so right. When I left my previous dojo because it became too toxic with the personalities they legit kicked my friend that came in with me then proceeded to bash us in chat not realizing I brought 10 people in with me. It's a great game with, but man things like this make me want to go back to just being a solo player
I dont know what the technical words for it are but the textures on the natural decorations did that thing where you move the object but they stay in place, so I can see why they weren't quite ready to be released. The new curved glass panels didn't flicker when you phased them into the ground tho, so thats a plus.
Hey Vash, have you ever seen a pirate ship in a warframe dojo? I have one i want you to see someday! Its a room I created as a tribute to Hydroid. It features a throne room in a cave and a hidden room with treasure underneath you can find by solving the riddle. The ship itself is 4 stories tall with an engine room, cannon room (6 cannons total), control room, and the main deck, not including crows nest.
If it's not ready it's not ready. Like the items will come back so idk what the fuss is about tbh. Now if they added them permanently removed MIGHTY SEER decorations then I'd be sad
@@VashCowaii og is always better but the kuva is the second best weapon in warframe. At least for me, most people get better results with the kuva. I'm the pope after all so I do better with the og
I only stumbled upon this while trying to build my dojo, and if there was anything i learnt from ARK, is that anything that is remotely bugged when it comes to builds should be embraced and worked around. That is how you go over it, if something goes wrong? Just accept it, and work around it. That's all it takes, patience
One thing a dont like is the continued hate for the new war. In reality, the amount of lore in there is insane, not to mention the lack of bugs. The amount of things that could have gone wrong but didn't? Amazing.
Sort of devil's advocate here but: Yes the extreme hate it gets is obnoxious, but also on the flip side the blind love it gets is equally so. Idk if you've observed this, but there seems to be an awkward divide where people are either like "wow trash update, quit this game never play it again" or it's like "omg I'm crying and shaking this changed my life it's amazing" Not saying you're doing either or in this case, you just reminded me of how awkward I felt reading some of the blind praise this update got. I love the update and it was great, just not so great I start a religion around it.
@@dascreeb5205 Im just baffled at people wanting a big change to endgame or like months worth of content out of this update when really I was happy to return to warframe after a bit of a break and get all this fun lore and story quests, definitely have my problems but you know what I got to experience this all for fucking free
nice, i would probably join you just for the clean and Lagless Dojo to be honest. my current clan has a nice dojo, but my specs are slowly but surely becoming more and more outdated. it'd also be nice to finally have a guild lead that actually shows up once in a while. Ours still hasn't come back after an almost 2 year long hiatus, and i really liked their company.
You make such a good point that I really hadn't stopped to think about... I recently stumbled across a lifeofrio video where he just shit on the new war update for 10 minutes, and yet I don't think he ever actually made a point, just bad jokes and repeating himself the entire video. First time I'd watched him, and defintiely not the type of WF content i care to spend my time watching. I can't believe WF creators actually survive putting out that type of content on youtube but it really is a thing.
Good things come to those who wait. My dojo has barely any decoration. We only have like 5 members though and it's a waste off resources when you can build more blueprints for weapons and stuff.
As a former City of Heroes player, I see dojos/player residences as a vital part of player experience in MMOs (strictly my opinion). If the player doesn't feel a sense of control over the vanity aspect of the game, then they don't tend to feel much investment (same goes for the vanity features for characters, the orbiter, even the UI, etc). And in general it does play a part in whether I stick with a game or not. Also, on the flip side, you're absolutely right, there's no reason whatsoever for DE to invest the amount of time and assets into dojo decor (it's not even like CoH where bases/residency was like a precursor to the architect feature that allowed players to create custom missions and levels). Vanity items in general usually represent where a F2P/mmo company makes the bulk of their money. People who are invested will pay to have that control and to make the game more tailored to their own tastes. Entitlement is pretty bad, especially when it comes to video games. But also on the flip side, idk, I don't feel like I can really get into the community in general, because... there's a difference between expecting a company to do the thing you want them to do, and saying, "it would be neat if they added this". But when people jump down your throat about not being so entitled and how dare I presume to know anything about how video games are made or how dare I say something without reading the entire history of the channel to know it was argued about before (as you saw happened on the discord), it makes being an active part of the community very difficult. I'll be the first to say, I don't really care nor would I presume to know everything about game design or balance, and I generally don't have opinions on what choices a company should or should not have made. I tend to look at a game and think, "I would have done this differently" or "I really liked that, why, and how would it apply to other projects/games?" and then add it to my growing notes on game design and what I qualify as fun and engaging, but if I'm still having fun, then I'm going to keep having fun with what I'm given and not expect anything more, just because I play the game, or even because I spend money on a game that is free to play. If I'm not having fun, I just don't play- there's not really a need to gripe about my opinions unless someone specifically asks, or I'm in a community where I think they'd be welcome. So... on one hand, absolutely agree, but I think the very strong reaction to the entitled part of the community also may put off people from participating when people misinterpret what someone says as part of the entitled group's opinion of wishing the studio catered to their wants. There's nothing wrong with desiring to see change and being excited for what comes next. There IS something wrong with expecting a studio to cater to a single player's opinion. But I feel like the two get conflated a lot (not just in warframe, I've seen it elsewhere) and it doesn't just divide the community, it can end up silencing a good portion of it and make people scared to speak. Or maybe I'm projecting and I'm the only one who feels this way. *aggressive shrug* Communities in general are fickle beasts made of conflicting parts, and when you start getting into large playerbases/populations, the extremes tend to become more extreme.
I feel like maybe part of what I tried to say, wasn't communicated properly to you through this video if you think you're the only one so I'll try to clarify a touch. There are two specific groups of people I'm telling to shut up in this video. I am in no way downing people who hope for something better, I hope for better things every day, neither am I discouraging anyone with valid critique, as I say in the video, it's fine if you're not satisfied with it and it's fine to acknowledge DE's shortcomings. The largest targets of my discussion in the video are those who hope for a lot of unrealistic things in their individual opinion, they don't think about if it's actually feasible or the development behind it or the priority of it, and then are genuinely upset to the point of anger when DE doesn't make it happen, and then they direct that unfounded baseless anger at the devs. THIS in particular, is what I despise. Those people need to move on. That's one group that needs to shut up, but the other is the people who cry about the removed decorations. Last time DE left unfinished decor up, all people did was cry on the forums. Screwed if they do, screwed if they don't, so removing them was the best option for DE. Communication to convey disappointment in a product or critique for it is vital for it to succeed and I'm not trying to say we should silence that and bend over, my only beef is with the thoughtless hate-trains that circle warframe. I'm sorry if this video did not expressly and accurately convey my idea.
I thought this would be about predetory dojos that hunt for new players to join and then tell them that they have to comtribute more resources or pay plat to access the dojos labs. Recently started a new account on ps4 and was shocked to join a dojo and didnt have permission to duplicate weapons, a thing i didnt even know was possible, asked the clan leader and he told me that the game itself requires you to pay plat to get permissions in the dojo. Said he would gift them to me if i contributed to various decorations. I then sent him a screenshot of my stats on xbox showing that i have well over 2000 hours. He then kicked me from the clan and blocked me ingame.
I think you just summed up our society today where a relitively small set of entitled immature people never think beyond their own needs. I have run a dojo for 7 years. 1000 plus members that have donated so much time and effort and resources to it if we added it up we would need quantum computers to calculate the totals. I could care less about a handful of decorations that we all know would be totally broken. The last thing I need is irreparable damage to the dojo because of some new part. I understand that this is important to some but and you cannot exist any longer with out a grineer tree stump or patch of grass but if it breaks the thing you have worked on for years you probably want to reevaluate your overall goals in life and take a few deep breaths. Also might need to note that they have given us more in the dojos in the last 3 years than they have for the entire time the game has been out. Including dojo competitions that they did for us but in turn probably opened them up to an ever bigger drive for more new things. I would rather see more time in dojo / clan management tools and rewards for members that rank up or tools that promote more member activity as activity is what kills clans or the lack there of. Having integrated tools to allow internal clan events and God forbid alliance wide events would be much more helpful than a potted plant for my 128th dojo room that only one member will ever take the time to go look at.
I agree 100% about your assessment on hating DE in the community. Many large content creators do this and we dont push them back enough. Brozime is a huge example. All he does is hyperbolize the issues of the game and was told in a convo by a dev that he hurts there feelings and he doesnt change at all. Why do we allow him to be this hurtful to the community
If I recall, you're referring to what Scott said a bit back. I don't follow Brozime too closely so I can't really speak to that one. The only thing I really remember about him is he does builds for starchart level enemies and gets upset when people call him on the builds being subpar. Anything beyond that, I'm not qualified to speak on.
When I get too salty about DE decision making, I take a break from the game. The whole game is a time sink for me and if I am getting pissy about my pass time than I need to change it up
I don't get how people complain about not having enough dojo deocration ^^° I'm simply always super happy when I see new decoration items and get to experiment with them. There is really only one category where I'd like have more options and that's the grineer but not in a way I have to constantly bitch about. I always think some of the most amazing designe (for me) are build with very view different decorations..
meanwhile, I just view my dojo, that I solo-built from the ground up, is just purely there for convenience.. do I decorate it? f*ck no.. it's got a trading station, it's got all the labs, it's got the skydock, it has everything researched by me, it has the extra rooms such as the lich trading room and the ventkids room.. but what do I use it for? absolutely nothing, because it just exists for me to get the research items as they come out, trade items for free to my friends and fiancé when they need it, and level up my railjack intrinsics
I created a dojo for the itzal and energy pizzas and now I’ve got the hirudo and corrupted mods, along with volt and Wukong. It’s still barrren. It’s where I grow my fucks. No decorations whatsoever. I’ve got two pigments farmed up.
Personally the only thing I'm still kinda "upset" by is that the Trials are still not back yet (although idk if they were just outright dropped at this point), but I understood why they have been gone as long as they were. Just about every new update/content drop broke Trials in some way or another that they'd have to go back an patch up, just building up an unreasonable amount of work for DE that could've been used to instead work on new features/story/etc. So, it makes sense to just outright remove it and (what I thought at the time) entirely remake it so it won't end up breaking every update if at all. My only problem is I haven't really seen anything about Trials being brought back at all in the last few years since around Fortuna, they were my endgame-ish thing to enjoy with a group of friends on the weekends and whatnot, kinda like how Zanagoth had his "8 same-frame LoR" videos.
I'm still working on a dojo I'm working on as a solo just so I have a place to work on making more gear to boost my MR and Railjack in peace without fear of just being booted for not playing 0.25 seconds just because i have to work which involves touching grass. I totally agree with this 100%, as I believe that said rules in some of these dojos happen to be rules made by said dojo decorators, it's messed up. Let DE make the game the way THEY want to, it's their game, not yours, you're just a small part in their big story.
Just know that this is uncommon content. I was pissed with my community, so don't count on stuff like this being consistent in the future, that's all. Don't want to mislead anyone with what I make here.
Finaly one person say that life of rio is a fk hater of warframe, all the videos are a pool of shit over warframe...why peple who hate the game so much continue playing? Obviously it's because of the views, hating the game gives them thousands of views thousands of likes, but ... why do people keep playing if they hate the game so much and continue to support the youtubers who are totally talking shit about warframe? dadefuye, aggp, life of rio and many more do the same. I will never understand them, when I get to the point of hating a game, I turn the page and go to another. It is sad that people like you who make good content, who work hard to make a video do not have the impact that you deserve and people like life of rio who only sit down to talk shit about warframe and upload the video with minimal editing has thousands and thousands of views. Your honesty is greatly appreciated and I really enjoy your channel
You see negativity/Drama sells It's simply very human thing that has been exploited in every form of media since the dawn of time. If you get sent 100 positive comments and then 1 negative comment where someone wants to eat your dog and end your family, You as a human tend to remember that over the 100 other generic positive comments. Also Life Of Rio and AGGP are not shining beacons of model citizens even if they didn't touch warframe with a long stick. Rio has superiority complex and AGGP flags any criticism, Valid or not as ''homophobia'' I mean look at Life Of Rio's channel, over 100k subs and he cant get 5k views on something that isn't negative about warframe. His youtube channel has been failing for years, And its so bad that he can't move on from warframe because nobody cares about his other content, He's trying to do content on anything that is ever trending, he gets little views and fails again, He did like 10 cyberpunk videos when game came out, stopped after as hype died, same with outriders. And AGGP at least is more consistent in Warframe content, But he also has been failing for last 3 years, 70K+ subs and he cant push over 10k views per video. So yeah, People like AGGP and LOR can keep their scraps of views, And those who want to consume their trash content are allowed to.
It's confirmation-bias for disgruntled players. Misery loves company and all that. I haven't watched any of that creator's videos but I can't say I take issue with them ripping on the game as they supposedly do. They're getting paid to talk shit. I'd talk shit about WF all the time too if it paid well. lol I mean, people already do it for free so why not be one of the few who earns a living doing it? Haters gonna hate! (on the haters!)
I get getting tired of the game, and as for life of rios case I think he can have a valuable perspective for some of what Warframe could’ve been cause he thinks it could’ve gone a different way and I can relate to that sometime However… I’ve been with this game since February 2014 and seen a lot of ups and downs, and taken many breaks. Ive seen DE go through some rough patches. Idk if it’s obvious or not but as far as I can tell, we are n o t in one of those patches. I’ve been playing pretty consistently again and oh boy… it’s been a lot of fun. Even when I have most the things leveled in the game, I’ve been having an absolute blast with it. The game play is still solid as ever and the possibilities are genuinely varied and meaningful. As far as I can tell the game is alive and well going on it’s 10 year streak, and I’m excited to see what’s next. Turns out trying new frames and paying some attention to systems I neglected and exploring new possibilities and builds against new and old content has given the game a lot of new life.
Hate sells, this goes for pretty much all aspects of life. The blinder and stupider the hate, the more it draws people. Sadly there has been a cancer in the wf community for some time now. When people play the same game for so many years they grow used to the things they enjoyed and only focus on negatives going as far as to make mountains out of grains of sand - massively over reacting. Sometimes even getting upset for no reason at all. Some peoples impossible standards get more and more ridiculous too. Expectations so high that no one could ever reach them let alone a small studio. No shit there are kinks, thank hell they give a shit about ironing them though because I wish I could say that so many other studios give so much of a damn about what they produce they'll spend whatever time it takes to fix it. No shit x has been broken for x,it clearly isn't a priority and everyone except the dead prioritize issues based on how serious they are. We don't live in a flawless world and so expecting others to be flawless is ridiculous. Not a white knight though and it is silly to even have to say that. I'm not blind to issues in the game but my head isn't so far up my ass that I can't understand that issues take time to fix and there is a procedure when fixing something. You can't just clap your hands and expect things to be better. DE is trying and has a track record for years of bug fixing and correcting mistakes ontop of trying to stay afloat. They're trying to find a balance, they always will be and we always will be. I'd like to add that they held off releasing new war several times to get it as right as they could before the deadline. Played it day 1 and had no issues. Probably having the best release state out of any past expansions. Been watching the bug forums too and nothing to huge like when past expansions dropped. They were ontop of bugs within hours too and have continued to be. The alternative would be to not fix bugs and just shovel out content for coin and I don't see them being like that. Thank you for coming to this ted talks. Have a nice holiday and stay warm.
How TF are people angry? I mean, getting the decorations *temporarily* removed (because they're not ready!!!) is kinda disappointing. But, that's it? Just kinda sad. Nothing more.
I suspect DE's intention for Dojos was that they be a hub where you can research various things, have a place to be social outside of relays where personal conversations would be a nuisance and play at minor team customizing of the space, the crazy and amazing things people have done with the items provided as decorations was beyond what they conceived.
I had no idea. A video of mine made it in here. Or rather, it was represented as unreasonable hatred towards the game. You make some solid points, and in all honesty, while it's funny to me now how obsessed I was with the game and felt like it needed improvements, a solid: "shut the fuck up" back then would've probably helped 😂 cheers Vash
I saw those and was like "ah. cool. sealab." And then upgraded my RJ and left. Haven't even bothered to check the decorations since then, cuz my dojo has like 7 people, two of which are alt accounts. We barely use it.
Funny story about people thriving off of hating the game. I was scrolling through Facebook. I came upon an ad for the Cambian Drift. There was one commenter talking how the game was so lame, and didn't have anything new ever. They then let slip that they haven't played the game in five years, and never felt they needed to go back. The rest of the comments in the ad were about why someone who gave up Warframe five years ago would still be following it.
LMAO, I mean that sounds about right. A hefty portion of the people I'm talking about, probably don't even play this game anymore, so yeah they stick, ripping on warframe sells for whatever reason.
Im main decorator in my clan and is painfull grineer dont get anything new from start. Corpus and Fortuna give option to build space ships. Or like for me, trading center with many diffrent shops. Toys shop, orokin shop with ayatans or even Ostron/Narmer standing with fishes. And Grineer? Bunch of containers and unindentified objects what made me struggle to made simple table.
Bro i feel ya the last 2 mins of the video have dumbfounded me. The entitlement is criminal. I started playing 1/5/23. After 7k hours of Borderlands 3 i needed a worthy replacement and this game is amazing. Flawed but amazing. 🙏🖖
I honestly was kinda bummed about them adding decorations then removing them especially sense it was two areas that really needed some new/revamped stuff, but at the same time it was also a meh. Am I up set to some degree yes cuz I was gonna rework a few areas in my dojo with some of the new stuff only for it to be removed while I was planning lol. But at the same time im not gonna cry over it and agree completely the dojos are just something to keep us occupied. Mines litteraly just my toy pretty much lol. So now im just at the point if waiting for the grineer stuff to come back out cuz let's be real they really neglected the grineer decorations up till now sadly
The only thing i really use the dojo for, is trading. If that's in a gilded hall fillednto the brim with deco's or in a basic barren room, i don't care (maybe the emty room is preferable since it'd be easier to find the trading station in it)
They should've let you you remove clipping while your placing and a option to donate to all decorations at once to copy and paste in groups to save group or rooms to a server to add gridlines and placement along gridlines
They should also use the dojo decorations mode to have likes custom areas where you can load in enemies like cephalon simaris and battle em out on your own map. They could get a lot of plat for it. Probably.
To be fair, the hatred did stemmed from DE action of nonsensical changes in the pass (look at Universal Medallion for example). DE however, have improved over the last 3 years, but many still cling to this nostalgic hatred and try to come up with a reason to stoke the fire.
improved implies an actual meaningful set of changes for the better. DE still does alot of things that they once did such as cherry picked feedback with the universal medallions and part of why alot of this seeming hatred exists is because unless you make a huge fuss about an issue they most likely wont address it. Take the recent regal aya issues for example.
Honestly, I just really enjoy decorating my dojo solo with ALL THE PRETTY GREEN THINGS!!!! Too bad my favourite rocks need gallium... I might take a while farming that... And the neural sensors! Why am I in love with the plants!? They're so expensive when you use way too many of them! So many that all you see is plant! And more plant! And floofs! I have a problem... If they add any more plants, I might never be able to fund my dojo decor. Maybe I should just go smaller? Nah.
yo I’ve been ripping on LifeOfRio for weeks!! he is pure click bait now with WarFrame!! LMAO I’m here because he mentioned you in his last video and like a child he responded like he always does with insults…SO LAME! keep calling him out on his crap, dude hasn’t played WarFrame for 4 years and thinks he is the whole voice of the game…PLEASE…thank you for this👍
Dude these people just saying "fk off DE" and stuff, dude if you hate the company so much why keep playing their game? One thing is being frustrated and another is doing this
Well admittedly I think that's not a good enough excuse for people to use, since you can only milk "beta" for so long, and I think Warframe is well past that. However, a very much good enough excuse or reason would be that DE is transparent about its development process, and anyone who spends enough time on this game is familiar with that. That's why I say, people really should already have a good idea of what expectations to have, and if they spent more time on the game, it's because they understood that for the most part. But despite that, people get crazy with what they expect, and that's where the real problems come in.
Don't know why they complaining first off this is a free to play game so really and truly they should be glad DE didn't say you gotta pay do decorate your dojo as well as say you gotta pay for the new war people are just ungrateful
It's probably the same people who say disgusting things in chat and then complain about their ban. People tends to cherry-pick anything they may complain about.
all i'd like is placeable npcs... (think SWTOR Placeables) they don't really DO anything but for small dojos/clans would be able to make the place feel more lively. I completely understand where you come from and you have a really good point. Sorry you've had to be bombarded with the "gimmie gimmie" crowds.
The only thing I want for a dojo is a normal training room that we can place down to test all are gear with be able to spawn enemies not obstacle courses but I am willing to wait if it never happens then I bite the bullet to unlock the normal one from the yellow guy
You want the Simulacrum in the dojo? Ah yeah that's not gonna happen. That'd be cool, but I can practically guarantee it's not gonna be a thing for a very long time if ever.
I don’t get why people hate on this game so much. The fact that we get this game for free, and the amount of depth that this game has grown to have, not to mention the market system where you can legit never spend any real money on this game and get whatever you want. People will find anything to complain about I swear.
I took a break for 2 months and didn't get to see this! I have been decorating a dojo very well for two years now and yes most people are "meh" about it, on the same token decorators can't bitch about everything you get or don't get in the pieces! You have to move on and get a little more creative and learn to not have expectations from anyone! It is purely for your enjoyment and what people perceive! You are totally correct in fantasy standards! Positive- everything does seem to be more precise for setting pieces! Good for me because I like precision! Criticism- Can't program controls for placement! Seeing names of the pieces everywhere you walk around even when you are not in decorator mode! Distracting Personal decorations go bigger but hardly anything.
Unfortunately unrealistic expectations and standards is a norm for most gamers and its upsetting because you can tell half of these fucks havent worked a day in their lives because they never understand that someone following them around criticizing every fucking move all while not realizing they are the reason we have a great game in the first place. This video really hits the nail on the head of what I hate about most people in the gaming community "Modern games bad", "WOW devs fucking suck they should die" are all sentiments I legitimately cannot see a rational person thinking.
Yea, It's not just the dojo community, sadly. Some people talk so much shit about warframe, I don't get why they even keep playing a game that they seem to hate so much. It's like theyre stuck in an abusive relationship. And this costant repetition of "DE bad" phrases by some people is just mindnumbing.
I don't think the decoration name always visible was in patch notes, I want to see option to turn it off. Maybe this is the workaround to the dumb year-old bug of cc enemies having and healthbars.
Its not tho, if you think that, you have not seen many game communities. Yes there are assholes in the community and people who hate on it as there are in every game. But there are a TON of way more toxic game communites out there.
@@erikholm1558 100% yes there are more, but seriously there is a small but ruthless community in Warframe that is toxic about everything that de does it's not fun.
Yeah same i am really new an i join a clan an they basically ignored my questions maybe like 2 or 3 answered but the rest was just a holes so i left ik you're talking about something else but i just couldn't stand that, so I'm gonna stick to myself an learn thing's on my own i pretty much know what to do now i love this game an ain't gonna leave anytime soon. Like i said ik your talking about something different but i just wanted to say this.
The only thing i dislike DE doing in recent times was the SE farm nerf. I still do it cus i enjoy doing that grind but it definately effects the outcome profit vs before the nerf profit.
Ben is breads video was actually a satirical parody on the same people you are talking about he actually praises the game through sarcastic jokes was it clickbait yeah thriving off of hate no I don’t think so In my opinion also ben praises the game and gives fair criticism in his other vids on it from what I’ve seen anyway he makes good content. other than that this was good vid educational too man I don’t know much about the dojo community although im in a clan I mostly play warframe alone as it’s my preferred way to play not always though. life of Rio on the other hand yeah he is just a different breed of confusion and very hateful he tries to he it up with different words to make it sounds like it’s Criticism.
Wow... I did not know people complained about this. I mean, I'm the decorator in my clan (I'm not the owner, but the owner made me decorator). And I'm quite into decorating dojos, it's kind of like fashion frame for me. I even featured in Prime Time 205 with the first documented TRUE giant robot... (where Megan fell). So all of that just to clarify... that I'm into the subject. But to complain that DE removed prematurely released decos? Or even bugged decorations or spawn points. Hahaha. I agree with this video. To all of you decorators out there... chill dudes. Chill. There's more out there than pixels in a game. Move on with your life. If you have one at all.
GOod to know this doesnt apply to me XD Vash if you remember me you know ive bitched about wanting certain features and stuff to the Dojos, but I dont think ive personally ever said DOJO BAD DE FUK U or whatever. Dojos are my favorite part of warframe creativity-wise and more items means more stuff to mess with- BUT if things need repairs thats A-ok. I just hope when they come back they maybe look a taaaad nicer since theyre kinda weirdly low texture PLANT PNG looking for the earth stuff- the uranus tile stuff didnt get to look at enough to make oppinions say for the giant goop ball container, but yeah. Im still hoping for if its possible sheets of water to give fake water room effects, maybe a few new room ideas like an aquarium and zoo for stuff we can catch in open world, and whatnot. Cetus props too would be cool- kuva stuff if thats ever added make a giant kuva processing plant, but We've been waiting for a while and tho i get the heat and stress from the community, we can wait more. We have a shit ton to work with rn anyways XD
I think the main reason people get frustrated about shit like this is because they stick to one game too long and expect that one game to satisfy all of their needs. Like nah fam, that ain’t gonna happen. Try new things. Try other games. (I’m talking to them, not you.)
Just one corrections, dojo decorations do have a spot in the ir sun, DE uses it on prime time all the time to advertise their game, so yeah, it is in their interest to do something with it, anything that DE can say "look, we have this cool feature in our game" is money, if it wasnt, they would not bother adding hundreds of decorations for people to play with, just like they dont bother with conclave, cuz they cant use that for advertising.
Hmm, I think I'd disagree there. What they offer on stream is just a brief 5 minute glimpse, it's not meant to fully showcase the actual effort that goes into dojos. What they do on stream is the equivalent of hanging a child's drawing on the fridge for the family to see in passing, but disregarding the drawer full of other pieces done by the child. Most people that have been featured, would not say that they got a worthwhile spotlight on stream, especially if you venture to the console realm. Xbox and PS streams that included dojo visits this year have been incredibly rare, only PC consistently does it with the sliver of time they get. I just don't see how you could call that time in the sun, especially when most players don't even know what a dojo contest is, let alone when it starts or ends. I fully understand why DE handles it that way, I mean, logistically it's just not possible to showcase the actual work that goes into dojos nor would it be worthwhile to invest the time to do so, any time they spend on dojos isn't for promotional purposes, it's quite literally done as a courtesy to us. It's a nod to the effort we put in, but nothing more than a nod to what we drew with that box of crayons.
To ad to this on development standard on DE is the community itself is not unified on what types of things constitute a "good" use of the dev time. There are so many diffrent communities within the game that things sometime get stretched thin or drop (it suck but it is what it is). Hell this comment section alone shows that parts of the community dont know other parts exist to the extent that they do. Imagine how it must be to look at the vast amounts of content they community's within warframe have latched onto to any degree and have to make decisions on what is and isnt important/best for the game in the long run Some of the examples of this enclude but are not limited to. 1.casuals and lore people that come back and spend time with new quest drops (quest dev time) 2. Fasion frame and dojo community (art team dev time) 3. Grinders that only care about loot (dev and balance testing for new guns and frames) 4. Speedrunners/race people (tilesets and enemys) 5. Endurance harder content seekers (yet more enemies and stages for it/things like steal path) 6. Railjack (bug fixes and rewards) 7. PVP (balance and bugs agian thats not tied to most system in the game) Thats just of the top of my head imagine how much else people could want and think and how what is being asked individuals stuggle with seeing everything myself included (didn't know dojo deco was this important to a large amount of people because its not content I personally engage in) They try. Yes there are mistakes made and critical thinking can be applied (looking at you railjack launch state) but not everyone can be pleased. Personally i have to step back from the game for weeks to months when im not happy because if not i become uber cynical and i feel thats something some people just havent or learned to or dont care enough to try to do.
@@VashCowaii yeah breaking out of the neice and talking about things that apply to things that fit the bigger neice (warframe as far as youtube is concerned is a neice) can really show how diffeent people can like the same things for diffrent reasons. In this instance its a good discussion thing for the community at large (keep expectations reasonable)
Wow some of these comments are just attacking DE cause the SIDECONTENT isn't being focused on like THE CLIMAX OF THEIR ALMOST DECADE LONG STORYLINE. I know i'm just rehashing what he's saying but holy cow this is maddening.
It is fascinatingly apropos that the warframe playerbase behaves like angsty "i hate you mom" teens who have been locked up for 100 years only to be given amazing murder toys. And after 10 minutes with each and every toy they declare "I hate this" (2500 hours played)
I built my dojo on my own for me. Everything that is in it is for function only. I haven't done anything to it decoration wise. If someone wants to decorate their dojo, go for it. If you don't care how it looks but as long as it works for research, great !!!
Actually true about the aspect of the community that rips on Warframe
I never saw the decor so I wouldn't know but honestly, ABOUT TIME WE GOT MORE GRINEER STUFF STILL!!
id love those windows if they dont go seizure mode like the tenno windows
what i don't understand is how people can be that mad about this. these decorations will be added properly later on anyway. just have some patience, they're literally working on them xd
I do agree that criticism is necessary but I always feel reluctant to say anything too loud because I don't want to attract people like that Life of Rio guy.
Yeah, vet here, Warframe has always been 'Dying' ever since it was first released.
@@maeday8839 vet here, warframe has been dying for 8 years
Partial vet here, 2.1K Hours in game with 4.5 years attendance.
The only games i've played (or watched) in the last decade that were comparable (or better) to Waframe in both story and enjoyability:
OMORI (Happy 1st Anniversary), Undertale, The entire Metro series, The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, Pokemon B&W1+2, C&C Tiberium Wars and Red Alert, Ace Combat 4-7 and Divinity 2: ego Draconis.
like, there's barely any link between these games, other than the fact that they have a marvellous, often times Sci-Fi/Fantasy inspired, story to tell and that they have amazing music.
^^
I like this message.
I'm surprised this is reaching someone like you. Thanks for stopping by.
I don’t like working with too many people. That’s why I’m using a solo dojo with my friend. We’re on our own in our dojo and clan😎
DE: adds thousands of updates over years, transforming the game into something of such scale, quality, and diversity that it is unrecognizable when compared to its original concept
Player: WHAT THE FUCK? I CAN MAKE THIS PROP I PLACED REALLY SMALL. THESE ARE THE WORST DEVELOPERS OF ALL TIME!!!1!!1!
WHY CAN I NOT LAND ON CERES AND CONSTRUCT MY BASE THERE DE?!?! I LIKE THAT SKYBOX, SO I WOULD LIKE MY GUILD HOME ON CERES INSTEAD OF LAME DOJO, ITS SO EASY WHY CANT YOU MAKE THAT HAPPEN I AM GAME DEV IT TAKE ME ONE DAY, JUST ONE DAY
Unironically, while I don't remember everything he said perfectly, this was feedback on the forums once upon a time. This is legit the reason I say this game is not Space Engineers.
I respectfully disagree somewhat
Cringe profile pic
DE realizes warframe will never be truly difficult so nothing is scales to full retard proportions
warframe community: WTF WHY ISNT THERE PLATINUM PATH WITH 9999 LEVEL ENEMIES REQUIRING GOD RIVENS TO KILL?
I still remember when I played back when excalibur had superjump and thought, damn this game is fucking sick as fuck
Ngl seeing they're going to add a submarine honestly is exciting, being able to add faction vehicles would be fun to play with
I can't stand content creators that shit on the game for views, and still continue to cover WF content.
Thank you Vash ..
Hats off some people need to dry there eyes and move on
Have you guys seen the history of dojo decorating has come along
I can see the old materials on these decorations as one major reason they got pulled. The sub and the roots really crusty fake surface.
MasterCkief : nintendo switch, clan: shenobi sage
If it's not ready it's not ready. Like the items will come back so idk what the fuss is about tbh. Now if they added them permanently removed MIGHTY SEER decorations then I'd be sad
I gotta ask when you say mighty seer does that include kuva or are you a OG seer kinda guy.
Idk if you've observed this, but there seems to be an awkward divide where people are either like "wow trash update, quit this game never play it again" or it's like "omg I'm crying and shaking this changed my life it's amazing"
Not saying you're doing either or in this case, you just reminded me of how awkward I felt reading some of the blind praise this update got. I love the update and it was great, just not so great I start a religion around it.
@@VashCowaii yeah. I also feel like, despite its size, it was only a setup for things yet to come.
@@dascreeb5205 Im just baffled at people wanting a big change to endgame or like months worth of content out of this update when really I was happy to return to warframe after a bit of a break and get all this fun lore and story quests, definitely have my problems but you know what I got to experience this all for fucking free
Me as a Dojo leader, I keep my Dojo clean and less customizations, because my PC cant handle loading screen if decorations are too high
nice, i would probably join you just for the clean and Lagless Dojo to be honest. my current clan has a nice dojo, but my specs are slowly but surely becoming more and more outdated.
it'd also be nice to finally have a guild lead that actually shows up once in a while.
Damn you got my subscription guy. Loved it, so accurate and pretty much good all around
You see negativity/Drama sells
It's simply very human thing that has been exploited in every form of media since the dawn of time.
Rio has superiority complex and AGGP flags any criticism, Valid or not as ''homophobia''
I mean look at Life Of Rio's channel, over 100k subs and he cant get 5k views on something that isn't negative about warframe.
@@Flustershy 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's confirmation-bias for disgruntled players. Misery loves company and all that.
I haven't watched any of that creator's videos but I can't say I take issue with them ripping on the game as they supposedly do. They're getting paid to talk shit. I'd talk shit about WF all the time too if it paid well. lol I mean, people already do it for free so why not be one of the few who earns a living doing it?
Haters gonna hate! (on the haters!)
I get getting tired of the game, and as for life of rios case I think he can have a valuable perspective for some of what Warframe could’ve been cause he thinks it could’ve gone a different way and I can relate to that sometime
However… I’ve been with this game since February 2014 and seen a lot of ups and downs, and taken many breaks.
"Everyone can do better"
I think that should be cemented to people head for 2022 later
May it be for games or life.
Really hope DE gets the placeholder decorations fixed soon.
A hefty portion of the people I'm talking about, probably don't even play this game anymore, so yeah they stick, ripping on warframe sells for whatever reason.
the way you say shut the fuck up is pure gold. the tone says it all
Well that's something I never thought I'd hear
Life of rio does milk "DE is bad" content but he does make valid points in some vids
I still think we need an update on the controls and setting for decorating
This is a problem that extends far beyond dojo decorations
One thing is being frustrated and another is doing this
SOME people forget this game....is still in beta XD
Spot on ,,, Thank you Vash ❤️
I've stopped watching a lot of warframe youtubers like LifeOfRio because of the shift to content shitting on warframe in every video they make on it.
I believe DE never tests the things it puts into the game to see if it's going to work well.
This video made me subscribe. Keep it real my dude.
Distracting
Personal decorations go bigger but hardly anything.
NPC's is all i'm asking for. Or allow certain ranks to deposit unwanted pets and choose one of them to walk around a certain room.
2:05 wheres my water!?!!!?! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😭😰😥😡
Avg discord vc in a warframe server:
Player 1:
Player 2:
Player 3:
Player 4: DE bad amiright
I don't think the decoration name always visible was in patch notes, I want to see option to turn it off. Maybe this is the workaround to the dumb year-old bug of cc enemies having and healthbars.
Reb already stated this will be fixed
Warframe community is secretly one of the most toxic communities out there, thank you for making a vid on it it's sad.
Its not tho, if you think that, you have not seen many game communities. Yes there are assholes in the community and people who hate on it as there are in every game. But there are a TON of way more toxic game communites out there.
@@erikholm1558 100% yes there are more, but seriously there is a small but ruthless community in Warframe that is toxic about everything that de does it's not fun.
finally! Thank you for expressing this
I’m just overjoyed to discover there’s a “Warframe Dojo Community” and someone hates it.
Also i am not hating the game at all Js I'm very new but i definitely love this game an enjoy it alot.
I'm very confused I've never knew there was a dojo community in warframe
The only thing i dislike DE doing in recent times was the SE farm nerf. I still do it cus i enjoy doing that grind but it definately effects the outcome profit vs before the nerf profit.
I want water cubes or somethin since pools or like lakes are hard to make
Ben is breads video was actually a satirical parody on the same people you are talking about he actually praises the game through sarcastic jokes was it clickbait yeah thriving off of hate no I don’t think so In my opinion also ben praises the game and gives fair criticism in his other vids on it from what I’ve seen anyway he makes good content. other than that this was good vid educational too man I don’t know much about the dojo community although im in a clan I mostly play warframe alone as it’s my preferred way to play not always though.
life of Rio on the other hand yeah he is just a different breed of confusion and very hateful he tries to he it up with different words to make it sounds like it’s Criticism.
You hit the nail on...the...Head.
Always enjoy your videos dude
Confused as to why, but glad to hear it :D
GOod to know this doesnt apply to me XD
Vash if you remember me you know ive bitched about wanting certain features and stuff to the Dojos, but I dont think ive personally ever said DOJO BAD DE FUK U or whatever.
Imagine how it must be to look at the vast amounts of content they community's within warframe have latched onto to any degree and have to make decisions on what is and isnt important/best for the game in the long run
Some of the examples of this enclude but are not limited to.
1.casuals and lore people that come back and spend time with new quest drops (quest dev time)
2. Fasion frame and dojo community (art team dev time)
3. Grinders that only care about loot (dev and balance testing for new guns and frames)
4. Speedrunners/race people (tilesets and enemys)
5. Endurance harder content seekers (yet more enemies and stages for it/things like steal path)
6. Railjack (bug fixes and rewards)
7. PVP (balance and bugs agian thats not tied to most system in the game)
Thats just of the top of my head imagine how much else people could want and think and how what is being asked individuals stuggle with seeing everything myself included (didn't know dojo deco was this important to a large amount of people because its not content I personally engage in)
They try.
Sounds about right. And yeah I've gotten a good few chuckles from these comments where people had no idea there was any fraction of a dojo community.
@@VashCowaii yeah breaking out of the neice and talking about things that apply to things that fit the bigger neice (warframe as far as youtube is concerned is a neice) can really show how diffeent people can like the same things for diffrent reasons. In this instance its a good discussion thing for the community at large (keep expectations reasonable)
new perspective unlocked
Wow some of these comments are just attacking DE cause the SIDECONTENT isn't being focused on like THE CLIMAX OF THEIR ALMOST DECADE LONG STORYLINE. I know i'm just rehashing what he's saying but holy cow this is maddening.
It is fascinatingly apropos that the warframe playerbase behaves like angsty "i hate you mom" teens who have been locked up for 100 years only to be given amazing murder toys. And after 10 minutes with each and every toy they declare "I hate this" (2500 hours played)
Can the man get an amen?
Amen!
I built my dojo on my own for me. Everything that is in it is for function only. I haven't done anything to it decoration wise. If someone wants to decorate their dojo, go for it. If you don't care how it looks but as long as it works for research, great !!!
