I hate to admit that I've overused Wukong during my newbie days but he is a good frame for beginners. He can do any mission without any problem. I'm a few uses away to get Volt to be my most used but I can't deny that Wukong Prime really did help me alot during my beginner phase.
@@esnayle literally any damage buff ability on his 4 is W. I have roar on mine, I previously used eclipse but roar just does the job better for me. Not to mention I haven't used my Wukong alot since Prime Resurgence gave me the chance to enjoy other prime frames. I understood the game mechanics and all very late though, I wish I grinded out for Valkyr Prime, Ash Prime and Vauban Prime during that event.
@@eggsywegsy Roar is good if you're also buffing ability damage, but Wukong has almost none. Since you're all weapon damage, Eclipse is vastly superior since it only buffs weapon damage so long as you stay in the light.

Love the vid, I have almost every prime frame and what I enjoy the most is using different frames and just having a specific frames that helps makes specific mission a lot easier allows me to use different frames and enjoy every frames.
well at least with khora you need to aim and you're the one who deals the damage(juicy red crits). With octavia you spam crouch to get invisible and then do nothing while your mallet runs around slaughering and CC'ing everything (boring white numbers).
If you don't want to use mallet then you can build her for efficiency/duration and stay perma-invis, use literally any red crit weapon you want without having to hide in a dome. Want to farm, sure take Khora for pilfering, but we're talking playstyle here

Also works on drones in bounty’s weirdly enough only on the plains and not in the vallis. But hitting the moving defense target is really annoying but if he only follows you or everybody stands together that’s not a problem anymore.
Also, as someone who fell into the noob trap of Inaros, 700 hours later, I've finally started trying to get better with more useful frames thanks to your videos lol. I think I made a pretty passable Mirage build I've been able to run in Arbitrations and Steel path with Hall of Malevolence.
Nekros and Khora works well as a duo, especially on Survival and other endless missions, Limbo is perfect on Spy missions like the one Moon mission since he can enter the rift and pass through lasers without triggering alarms
that's why I keep Limbo on my arsenal. he's really good on Lua Spy, unfortunately that's the only mission I use him for, NGL, I just don't play him too much for everything else.
Using gauss for speedy missions and getting concussions is da wae. Although when you do manage to get the sprint going on without ramming its satisfying as hell.
For us who don't have Primed sure footed yet, i think Nezha is the best option on capture and exterminate when using aoe weapons. That stagger immunity Nezha has with the warding halo and sprint speed in fire walk makes it a perfect frame for speed missions.
I prefer Ivara during Spy missions, i replace her Navigation with Reave and then I zoom around the map while being all invisible. Infiltrate help me get past lasers and Preparation and Arcane Energize help my large energy pool stay on top until I reach the last hacking station. (takes around 2-3 min on an average for each mission) But I guess it is a matter of playstyle, you can deactivate reave prematurely by activating the ability again, pretty useful if you ever get stuck somewhere.

Poise makes it so Primed Sure Footed isn't completely mandatory anymore, saving a mod slot. These new metas don't just simply replace old methods, but also give players more options for their builds instead of forcing them to play a very specific way, which is what a well designed meta is *supposed* to do.

For hunting things in the open world Ivara is pretty good. I guess that’s why she’s the Huntress Warframe… funny that. Shame she’s not good for actual stealth missions though lol.
I mean she is good. She is not top 3 or maybe even 5 best spy frames but she is not bad, its better to be Ivara in spy missions than 90% of other frames In the sense of easiness because you can do them with basically any frame of course
Range Nyx can solo interception mission very easily. Just cast 1 and the enemies are busy fighting each other so nobody try to capture the point but you.
It’s crazy how different the power level of each warframe is when you don’t have a max energize compared to when you do have one. That’s an 80$ item that completely changes the game for most warframes. Some of the warframes considered good have severe energy issues that you don’t often notice with energize, so when you don’t have it they’re basically garbage.
Revenant is one of the best disruption frames, has crowd control, survivability, and his 4th abilty is easily swapped for roar, and now with focus 3.0 u can even strip armor with operator, easiest frame to play disruption
me personally for all types of Exterminate, Spy, Capture, and Sabotage I just use Nezha. His teleport ability is really useful in spy missions and can avoid all kinds of stagger with his 3.
@@pixledriven Nezha is another good choice, especially now, since his 3 shuts down the eximus' damage resistances, Inaros, on the other hand, is purely HP, can heal himself, has the Scarab Armor, which makes him immortal and his 1 blinds mobs even from behind cover, enabling finishers, in short, it's the player's choice who he'll pick
Not a fan of that Ivara take. Yeah, she's slow, but this game doesn't always have to be about speed. It's pretty safe to put on the Prowl augment with a decent duration strength build (STR for headshot multiplier) and go through it without many issues. If you got a silent weapon, you don't even need the augment for door lasers cause you can shoot the bars and cameras without breaking Prowl for a second or two. Artemis Bow with its augment is good too. Sleep Arrow is a solid CC. Ivara's a good frame, just not for breakneck speed.
Yeah.... But... It is about speed tho. Except in endless modes and even then if you're slow you better play solo or you probably won't do much. And I'm saying this as someone who LOVED running spies with ivara but... It's just not fun when you compare it to wukong. I even had a build to roll/double jump further etc to be "fast" while invisible but wukong is almost as fast as a small volt and can pass through everything... It's not like I want to stay in spy missions anyway so yeah... Ivara do have uses tho, unlocking rivens that require you to stay in survival mission for 5min without killing anyone ! Just go invisible and steal oxygen from them, and def missions in sorties/arbitration when it's a guy you have to def, pop an arrow on him, ggwp, but that's about it.

you are right about that, but consider that this is best frame for every mission type, not that there are no other good or excellent frames for it. but as it is, Wukong is the best spy frame, not beacuse of the speed but comfort he provides, you press 2 and you have unlimited mobility while being very fast and undetectable by anything
@@rell.3130 need a speed boost? add revenant's helminth which is Reave that turns Ivara into a phased form and can zoom through enemies. it's an awesome ability to have since prowl doesn't allow Ivara to move much. Reave negates that movement penalty. just build her with range and efficiency then she can do spy way faster than the usual build.
My meta is: Survival - do not matter but khora is my favorite. Defence - Khora Index - Wukong with op weapons you can almost do it afk. Spy - i like to use titania cause she is fast and lasers usualy dodnt even react to her. Having fun - wips with max strenth. Specialy on clem missions xD
personally, i take mesa for almost anything, granted i havent played seriously for years and not touch eidolons but mesa waltz with rolling gaurd is a lot of fun
Same, I'm not too knowledgeable on what affects them and by how much. In pubs I usually just pick Wisp to speed everyone up, but then there's ALWAYS at least one more Wisp anyway. Does Molecular Prime's vulnerability apply? Cause a portal + debuff build with something like Roar/Nourish/Total Eclipse sounds pretty cool for support, also what I enjoy using if one of the 2 additional missions is Disruption or Mobile Defense. Don't need too much range for it to be good, don't need to max duration either, just get close to capping the slow and have a good shield-gate and it's very comfy. Nourish is my usual pick, mainly cause it's somewhat uncommon in pubs.
I thought you were crazy showing Volta. Titania is really the best that can be because it solves the main problem of all players, the lack of friends. Yes, she gives 6 girlfriends to help you. :)
For defense missions if you use hildryns 4 and 3 and you use trinitys 4 to restore shields you can literally do wave after wave without having to do anything at all
Also i do mainly infested defense missions so I can’t use hildryns 2 effectively but if you use hildryns 2 on enemies with armor this duo works even better

Hey man, mr 30 here. You forgot an honerable mention! Look into the Interception & excavation missions that are purely based on holding more posts than the enemy within a duration of time. Wouldnt it be nice if you could just... hold all 4 or even just 3 and not be challenged? You can do that! Max range and max efficiency Banshee 4th ability can hold most maps with correct positioning allowing your other NPC's for teamates to just hold one for the rest of the map after taking pylons. You just need to make sure you have a prime flow and fleeting and streamline and max range mods. Try it out! you basically eat energy pizzas, go grab one tower, run towards the center of where all towers are (guesstimate) and hit 4 and go make coffee like you did with inaros.
Let's be real; it's Revenant for basically everything 😆 Capture? Press 4 and smash your 3, you're insanely fast. Exterminate? Press 4, just smash your 3 a bit slower so your 4 has some time to hit enemies, etc. 😅
Saying that volt needs his 4th replaced and not talked about is just wrong. Volts 4 is still one of the top ways to run ESO, and great way to farm focus. Its just a good ability. Not everything in warframe needs to be min maxed.

For volt eidolon hunts you dont need anything other than his shield anyway. Also I would argue that trinity is better for eidolon hunts if you can only go solo. Specially for newer players.

"Oh, the lures might take damage?" "ill just heal them." then you go into a proper squad after dozens of runs wondering why you suck. the best beginner strat for eidolons is to go into the recruiting chat and wait for someone ready to take a new player with them to learn. That's how I first learned, and look where we are 1000+ runs later. Volt is super important to learn as a beginner to get used to using his shield for the operator damage buff and shield placement and stuff. also good to practice using rolling guard against the energy spikes without a harrow or something

Yeah, she is not fast, but it works. I never run to vaults stealthed though. I just run and then turn stealth on when I reach the vault.

With Caustic Strike now part of Unairu, you don't even need Ash or Nyx for Disruption anymore. You can pretty much bring any frame nowadays.

me personally for all types of Exterminate, Spy, Capture, and Sabotage I just use Nezha. His teleport ability is really useful in spy missions and can avoid all kinds of stagger with his 3.

@@pixledriven Nezha is another good choice, especially now, since his 3 shuts down the eximus' damage resistances, Inaros, on the other hand, is purely HP, can heal himself, has the Scarab Armor, which makes him immortal and his 1 blinds mobs even from behind cover, enabling finishers, in short, it's the player's choice who he'll pick
Nyx is really good with interception as well

Not a fan of that Ivara take. Yeah, she's slow, but this game doesn't always have to be about speed. It's pretty safe to put on the Prowl augment with a decent duration strength build (STR for headshot multiplier) and go through it without many issues. If you got a silent weapon, you don't even need the augment for door lasers cause you can shoot the bars and cameras without breaking Prowl for a second or two. Artemis Bow with its augment is good too. Sleep Arrow is a solid CC. Ivara's a good frame, just not for breakneck speed.
Yeah.... But... It is about speed tho. Except in endless modes and even then if you're slow you better play solo or you probably won't do much. And I'm saying this as someone who LOVED running spies with ivara but... It's just not fun when you compare it to wukong. I even had a build to roll/double jump further etc to be "fast" while invisible but wukong is almost as fast as a small volt and can pass through everything... It's not like I want to stay in spy missions anyway so yeah...
Ivara do have uses tho, unlocking rivens that require you to stay in survival mission for 5min without killing anyone ! Just go invisible and steal oxygen from them, and def missions in sorties/arbitration when it's a guy you have to def, pop an arrow on him, ggwp, but that's about it.

I wish everytime I was in a spy mission with randoms I would see 3 Ivaras...this take that Ivara is bad at spy missions is the reason I have to replay 75% of spy missions when the randoms trigger an alarm and fail the mission...
you are right about that, but consider that this is best frame for every mission type, not that there are no other good or excellent frames for it. but as it is, Wukong is the best spy frame, not beacuse of the speed but comfort he provides, you press 2 and you have unlimited mobility while being very fast and undetectable by anything
@@rell.3130 need a speed boost? add revenant's helminth which is Reave that turns Ivara into a phased form and can zoom through enemies. it's an awesome ability to have since prowl doesn't allow Ivara to move much. Reave negates that movement penalty. just build her with range and efficiency then she can do spy way faster than the usual build.

I realize this is a year old now, but would love to hear what you'd recommend for Archon hunts.
Same, I'm not too knowledgeable on what affects them and by how much. In pubs I usually just pick Wisp to speed everyone up, but then there's ALWAYS at least one more Wisp anyway. Does Molecular Prime's vulnerability apply? Cause a portal + debuff build with something like Roar/Nourish/Total Eclipse sounds pretty cool for support, also what I enjoy using if one of the 2 additional missions is Disruption or Mobile Defense. Don't need too much range for it to be good, don't need to max duration either, just get close to capping the slow and have a good shield-gate and it's very comfy. Nourish is my usual pick, mainly cause it's somewhat uncommon in pubs.

For defense missions if you use hildryns 4 and 3 and you use trinitys 4 to restore shields you can literally do wave after wave without having to do anything at all
Just kill the glowing enemies that make it through
Also i do mainly infested defense missions so I can’t use hildryns 2 effectively but if you use hildryns 2 on enemies with armor this duo works even better
But you cant cast any ability while in her 4, it's hard to survive without draining shield

Hey man, mr 30 here. You forgot an honerable mention! Look into the Interception & excavation missions that are purely based on holding more posts than the enemy within a duration of time. Wouldnt it be nice if you could just... hold all 4 or even just 3 and not be challenged? You can do that! Max range and max efficiency Banshee 4th ability can hold most maps with correct positioning allowing your other NPC's for teamates to just hold one for the rest of the map after taking pylons. You just need to make sure you have a prime flow and fleeting and streamline and max range mods. Try it out! you basically eat energy pizzas, go grab one tower, run towards the center of where all towers are (guesstimate) and hit 4 and go make coffee like you did with inaros.

Saying that volt needs his 4th replaced and not talked about is just wrong. Volts 4 is still one of the top ways to run ESO, and great way to farm focus. Its just a good ability. Not everything in warframe needs to be min maxed.

@@KnightmareFrame I know you were talking about eidolon hunts, but you did not specify why or when should we subsume volts 4th. You generalized and said that his 4th bad and gave no reason why. For volt eidolon hunts you dont need anything other than his shield anyway. Also I would argue that trinity is better for eidolon hunts if you can only go solo. Specially for newer players.

the best beginner strat for eidolons is to go into the recruiting chat and wait for someone ready to take a new player with them to learn. That's how I first learned, and look where we are 1000+ runs later.
Volt is super important to learn as a beginner to get used to using his shield for the operator damage buff and shield placement and stuff. also good to practice using rolling guard against the energy spikes without a harrow or something

I think this was a low level mission and his companion was wrecking the enemies getting close.
09:04 I spotted a red veil NPC running around at one point, so probably railjack crewmember, (if it was a syndicate mission they wouldn't have been using a cyclon).
Also his Companion would be helping with kills.
for players with helmith you can subsume perspacity on your spy wukong to not even need to hack terminals when you can’t cipher.
Oh better yet, and hear me out on this one... Ciphers. It's kinda a crazy thought, not very used often.
