Just the top part, the entire finger isn't necessary. Also, you want to apply light pressure and light ink. If the impression is too dark it will get rejected. It's always best to do multiple impressions just in case.
Can you tell me mam if finger print is taken with dark blue ink on paper in which impression does not see properly. Can it detect/ trace easily in forensic lab. Please tell me mam
