Christine M Adero, I have read and re read that. Very informative. Thank you. As a mom who has 2 girls, I need all the information and knowledge. Barikiwa for taking your time to share.
Let's normalize saying VULVA and VAGINA where applicable (instead of euphemisms like 'down there') ☺️🥰 great conversation and insights from Koko and Michelle
You are the other Wilma that I have ever seen comment on TH-cam (Kenyan video). It’s a rare name and VERY OLD. When I was in 🇰🇪, I went to a boarding school where i was the only Wilma. Then came to the 🇺🇸 and it’s quite rare. Anyway, have a nice day, namesake.
Tell me you park here ...I found this late but am working to catch up with everything discussed ... Chep💜 Always alert me when you learn of good platforms.. Need to learn
Thanks Catherine for the good work you are doing. I am among the women who were left to figure out everything for themselves, and to source feminine products for myself, it was so tough so painful, no dignity. Now as a mom to 2 girls and 2 boys, I know better. I love your beautiful daughters. Intelligent women.
I would also advocate for a menstrual cup, i have used it for a year now amd its life changing, and our period doesn't have odour actually, the chemicals it mixes with on the pads gives it the smell. we also don't bleed as much as the pads and tampons are designed to make it look. They are designed to make us use soo many of them.
The conversation going on here is on another level, intelligent, informative, educative. I love this and will share with my sisters n friends n all. Thank you ladies.
Hi Catherine, great content. Douching is a technique that ladies in the 70's and '80s used for down there and yes it is harmful and should never be used to clean lady parts. I have enjoyed today's Vlog.
Fun fact; menstrual blood doesn’t smell, I started using a menstrual cup this year and there is literally no smell. I think the smell occurs when the blood mixes with elements of the pad or the tampon. Cc: The Grace Cup on TH-cam.
I teach my children to wash hands before using the bathroom and after for the same reason. If possible I tell them avoid touching door knobs and handles in public toilets or many contact places. Use elbows when necessary to press and shut. UTIs are mean. I thoroughly enjoyed the video today.
Awesome discussion here Cathy..I wish someone talked to us about all these things growing up. Some of us never ever had a talk with our mothers /aunties . We figured it out ourselves and back then, we had no internet so it's just about what you learned in school. Good thing is now that we know better ,we can actually do better. Very good job you're doing in this Channel
People don’t know this but when you go to the bathroom either no 1 or2 use tissue to wipe your self then wipes to make it fresh if it smells have have a small spray bottle with soapy water rinse use wipe all done
Baking soda helps....it cuts the smell and keeps you fresh all day. Could mix in the the water and rinse with it after showering. Some ppl also use it instead of roll on because it's natural and very effective.
Nice topic...However I think this was an opportunity to educate on the condition called HYPERHYDROSIS.Sweaty palms, armpit patches etc.may not necessarily be a reflection of poor hygiene but a genuine MEDICAL CONDITION.So yes,as Cathy said, say something with love, but also understand circumstances of some conditions.
This are really vital topics...As a matter of fact, i just went for the 1st peps mere at 29yrs, yet i have been having under-utilized insurance card 4 5yrs ...some of this things its not really about cost but AWARENESS...
Thank you for the discussion. There is this growing trend using yoni pearls. I wish a professional can discuss such because it is quite confusing. On one side, those who use the pearls admit they work but again are they safe?
I loved this conversation. You guys look beautiful 😍. Next time tell us more of the soaps to shower , perfumes to use , simple make up to apply . But I found this educational.
I think spray deodorant works much better for those who sweat a lot. Roll-ons leave the area moist, so you still sweat, leaving sweat stains on the clothe😊. Dove spray deodorants work pretty well, with okay scents. I tried Nivea too, but happened to cause sneezing since their sprays are really strong. And yes, deo for men is pretty long lasting.
Such an informative episode, love how the girls have grown in terms of maturity & self awareness. You all shared so much useful information, thank you😌♥️🔥
Great topic ladies. The natural douche (water) is ok even though not necessary. The ready made one is the problem,it gives you Candida. The antibiotics are meant to be taken the same time with the pribiotics.
Hello😊I am from Kenya running a small group called SHE POWER, we would really appreciate if you donated sanitary towels to boost menstrual hygiene in my country. My emails is wanjiranyokabi@gmail.com TIA🤗
Can we just first discuss y'all's beauty. Wueh, your serving skin goals, hair goals, fashion goals .... Kila kitu. Any recommendations for specific does and perfumes. Y'all look like you smell good
If I'm wearing a tampon I'd change every toilet visit, this is because pee gets on the sting and travels up to the tampon. The thought of it just makes me cringe😬 I think it also helps that I pee every 3hrs or so
I have just watched this and I'm just sad because there are so many girls out there who have never heard these things because let's be honest not so many of us were taught how to watch our vaginas. Many girls learn these things from their friends once at high school depending on how open minded one is. I also think there should be more awareness on visiting the gynaecologists, let these conversations be open out there. Mums out here don't talk about this.
If you take a probiotic at the same time with an antibiotic you are negating the power of the antibiotics. Antibiotics kills all bacteria whereas probiotics ads the bacteria . So if you take an antibiotic alongside a probiotic, the antibiotics will kill the probiotics. It's advisable to take a probiotic at least 1 -2 hrs before or after taking a probiotic

To be honest I dont wash my hands before going to the loo and I think its my one major take away from this.
I don't too. Honestly this is gonna take time for me.
But I don't get why I should coz sitajishika with bare hands..si natumia tissue but if I'm on my period it makes sense
Glad you've learnt something, Emily
@@hellenchepy772 ...yes, you will clean yourself with a tissue but what if you transferred germs from the tissue to your vjay

I actually use conditioner before I shave. Life changing tip. It softens the hair. Then use aloe vera for 5 days.
Thanks for sharing.

Cathy's face when Koko explained douche 🤣. I'm loving this conversation with the girls, very informative and educational.
😆 Thank you for watching.

Feminine hygiene is very important, I think you should do part 2 to unpack more. It’s always good having the girls on

I don't think soap is a good idea...plain clean water should be just fine👍
My OCD wouldn't allow me to go pee and not change a tampon. I MUST CHANGE MY TAMPON everytime I visit the loo.
Me and you both Wangari!
This channel is becoming a one stop shopping for women. Good jobam enjoying myself
Faith Wambu Am glad you are enjoying the content. Thank you for the feedback
I don't do tampons coz my OCD doesn't just allow me to put tampons in there. But I change my pad every time I go to the washroom.
That's awesome. To each their own

They ain't safe
She had an expert here last week who said they're not good, just do your research because modern medicine kinda likes to disregard herbal medication
They are safe.I have used them and they really helped with my infections compared to the meds the doctors use to give me😊.
Thanks Cathy and your gals..have learnt alot from this conversation....
When you shave ensure you get black soap powder and pure Shea butter to avoid the bumps....life saver..
