The next "X to 1000" will be likely be one video instead of a series, might take a while to complete. As for SHOWCASE your Syx, I'm still making a plan on how to do it. As for SAVE your Syx, the entries from the old form did not need my intervention. I've yet to look closely at the one entry in the new form. The Osheanean Empire series will be receiving its conclusion soon, I've reached several of our final goals, just need a few more things and I can record The Food guides will likely be made during the interim between all of these
My best farm design is conquering my neighbour with mercenaries I purchased from made and sold furniture in the first 5 years, then never having to build another farm again.
Is farming worth it after your first region? I have played this once. After 1.5k population and few regions, I destroyed all farms and mines. 100% of the population on metalworking and administration(services and bakery of course)
You can literally give up farming without even having one region, depending on your species, the place you settled in and, most importantly, the ammount of kingdoms that you can commerce with. But if you do, you should have something good to export.
Depends what you're farming, but generally, taxing the world map is higher productivity at the risk of potentially losing the regions (I'm assuming you're mainly talking food). So as long as you protect and maintain your dominion over them you should be solved food wise. Kombuchaman is also correct in a way, however, the problem there now lies in whether or not you can maintain trade. If you go bankrupt at any moment or lose your trade partners, you will easily run out of food unless you have a decent stockpile. TL;DR, The best way to maintain food security is to diversify your sources of food.
@@kombuchaman01 Is social unrest not stimulated in this game (v66)? 50-50 human and dondorian split but never had any brawl or unrest. Just for giigles I persecuted the entire dondorian race, still no revolt. Thanks anyways

Yeah. I don't want to spam it or anything, but if my videos become a bit rarer and better quality, it's probably a good idea :)

Why don’t you just use copy area to copy the farms?
