Raiders always scale to your army size and they have full equipment and training. 2000 guys with plate armor made from thin air. For home defense just make archers and kite them until they die. In my tilapi run I have 500 elite archers and they are a permanent source of loot and slaves.

i got about 900 humans and 450 dwarfs at the moment,i payed every ransom so far (because me noob) but it gets on my nerve,these guys never stop coming at me.... from what i understood so far,i should make some of the dwarfs full-time melee soldiers. got it! what if i recruit 50 Tilapi immedietly and make them a full-time bow regiment? they won´t do any work,all they do is training and rain arrows on them damn raiders....right?

So far as content goes, I enjoy videos that have a point to them rather than the "waffly-longplay" style videos. They can be up to an hour long, but any longer and I just won't have time to watch them (dad-mode). If you want to appeal to younger audiences, then keep the video time under 10 minutes. RE video format, I know some successful TH-camrs take notes (pen + paper) whilst they're recording of where interesting events take place (eg. people starving @ 20 mins. bugs invade @ ~40 mins). That way, it's easier to jump-cut edit to interesting sections, and you can save yourself the breath between those parts if you have nothing to say.

Do you recomennd dondorians in human settlements? lots of my humans complain about not liking different jobs,i found out most of those jobs are loved by the dondorians and they even like the noise at those jobsites. what is the downside to having dwarfs in my City?

I believe 15 hunters is the cap before you get the efficiency penalty. Definitely something I aim for for a first or second food industry, since that plus a few cheap techs and tools is just so pop-efficient.

I like blank titles in my e-mails, it adds a bit to the suspension to wether or not I'm going to get scammed by a Nigerian prince or some random job offer in bumfuknowhere.

I have no shame; gotta say this. I was around 35 years in, as a mix of Dondorians(90), Humans(15) and Cretonians(10), was having the same trouble, with food, and no imigrants, because hunters dont give leather, livestock and eggs anymore, i ignored it. After watching this, i built 1 hunter cabin with 3 hunters, cancled my farms, except mushrooms, and started trading heavy on raw ore, coal and grain, and made sure all the work my Donds do is crafting, which they love and are amazing at. Thanks a lot, this is a great video.

V66 - City of 1000 population, all needs fulfilled 100% happiness 100% loyalty Load same game into V67, 50% happiness. The killer was proximity (ex: food stall) and food access, so I spam them everywhere. Proximity seemed to cap at 75%. I followed one (lazy) deliveryman, had a straight line from home to work with services in-between. They had 33% proximity! There was a food stall literally right next to their home. I will have hope that Jake fixes proximity because I honestly don't want to build Foodstallia.

I always struggle with food and it always ends up collapsing me early game I think its because I get too big where I want to expand too quickly in early game and don't have food production but what is the best food production I saw about the pastures and will have to try that

Hi Oshan, how can I create a forest if only a small patch of trees exists on land? I want those trees to spread, does cutting it down (fell tree) makes them spread? I tried creating a fruit orchard, assuming that after the trees have grown, demolishing the orchard would make the trees stand but no, they turned into wood :(
