Yeah its a pretty easy craft, even if it requires a bit decterity with the tealight part. However if you gonna craft it I suggest not going for such a overhang for the lid, since it'll get stuck in corners, id suggest cutting it flush with the rest of the piece. Cheers!

Really great job on this one. I was thinking of embellishing the oil lamp with a bracket that would hide the slit cut for the LED connectors. That is of course, if I ever get around to crafting one myself. 😉
Yeah go crazy there's always a way to modify/embellish the pieces!

I like your torches. They are very nice. You should consider Wyloch's video on how to make your own LED lights. It really isn't that hard once you sort out how they work. You can then make your lights in any configuration you like without having to hide the battery holder and switch.
Elderos5 H and thanks for your comment! Yeah i have a sawering iron now and have already experimented and created a few pieces with it, very useful when you wanna make very thin torch holders! But this tutorial was also meant for starting crafters to be able to make an easy piece without fiddling with the eletronics. 😃
Landvaettr's Lair Yes, I understand. They are very nice, but I see projects like these and my brain starts popping with ideas. Oddly, it doesn't do that when I want it too, though. Go figure.

Hello! I need some advise:
How can I handle bad DnD players? I just came back from a game as a DM where 1/3 of the players actually played the game and the other 2 slowed it down to the extreme and made it so slow that they themselves became bored. How can i tackle this? They didn't say what they wanted to do, and I mean this literally, they didn't say where they wanted to go, nor what items they wanted to bring or interact with or what character they wanted to talk to. How can I as a DM handle this behavior?
Example: I told them 3 times when they entered a cave on the hunt after giant bats (to drain the venom to create a epic bow for one of the members) what was on the ground (Sand, small rocks, bones and giant shit) and the two of them had to ask a fourth time what they saw on the ground when entering the cave. It's like they didn't want to push the story forward themselves yet wanted the story to continue. I'm left baffled. They talked to a rebel blacksmith for 2 hours when it took 2-5 minutes to get what they wanted and continue on with the mission. They are drunk or high and tired yet desire to play a game they don't actually play. I am drunk myself but right now really frustrated. Please tell me how to help these people.

Hi max, Ok so i'm way more experienced in matters of crafting tutorials than actual DM tips but here's my advice: Do NOT play while high, drunk or tired. Neither you, nor the players. This is just asking for trouble. Sure you guys can have a few drinks during the session IF the players can handle their liquor but nothing too over the top, otherwise might as well get properly shitfaced and forget about rpj altogether and try some random drinking game. This could actually be the reason why they asked you so many times what was on the ground, you know, being drunk or high you just forget stuff like a dumbass. Srry i dont exactly understand what you mean exactly by "rebel blacksmith"...however keep in mind when PC's are stuck on a loop with an NPC for some reason you've eventually got to find a way to get the strory going. And that means either submit the NPC to the player's demands, or alternatively make them properly fuck off without any kind of resort...But honestly your main issue tonight is probably alcool, drugs and sleep deprivation. These three are usually incompatible with concentration or ingenuity, that are the amongst the most important skills of a decent RPG player. BTW I've already been in the same case, that's why I actually gave my input. I'm also drunk as well. But I'm not DMing, so it's ok! Goodnight and good luck with your group mate. Take care as well!

Dandy Doodigery no it's a french franchise named "Rougier & Plé" but they sell different brands.
Landvaettr, t'as pas eu de problemes avec la peinture acrylique 'Amsterdam'? J'utilise ça aussi pour les elements en polystirene et une fois peints, ils collent. Du coup 2 tuiles qui collent entre elles finissent par s'arracher la peinture. J'ai fini par recouvrir toute mes pièces de colle à bois (faute de mod podge) mais t'as as une meilleure solution? Merci
amdnable ben écoute moi j'ai pas eu ce problème, mes pièces collent pas vraiment à la fin...on a peu être pas le même support de mousse...
