Considering it was 1964 - it was impressive that a "safety belt" was a feature in a popular song.
She's a mean guitarist. I love her little "yeah" before she hits the solo. She gets it.
James Reilly, well put. She is that. She's totally got it going on!
... she absofuckinlutely does 🍻
Yeah!!!!🤘🏻
Chuck Berry = rock n'roll perfection.
"I couldn't unfasten her safety belt".......................best Chuck Berry line ever. No particular gender required when singing this song. Rock n roll will never die. Thanks for uploading this tune. 👍
Chuck has been America's greatest poet, since he wrote his first song!
I love that she smiles as she plays this song. Having fun! Great song and a great cover!
That's so great about Larkin Poe: sisters keep smiling white they play. I have a constant feeling that they are having fun of their lives
@Kyle Shultz Well, yeah. CB's lyrics sure am witty. Am I hearing a double-entendre on "safety belt"? Seat belts were a new thing in 1958 weren't they? But bra strap had been around for awhile. And at that time women often wore stockings that which I seem to recall were held up with some sort of belt-device or strap-device rather than the "lyrcra" elastic that came later. I was born in 1948; I didn't start detaching women from their straps until around 1961 or 62
A very form-fitting composition.
What would we be without the great Chuck?...
Some of the younger generation continually surprise me. Ive seen her play alot of covers but would not have guessed a Chuck Berry cover and this one has a little complexity to the solo. She has no problem and plays it perfectly
I love you and your taste in music, your husband is a lucky man, tell him I said so.peace☮️
Love that she is wearing a New York Dolls shirt! Influences from back in the day!
One night I was cruising TH-cam and clicked on your cover of preaching blues. After that I was hooked, and spent the next hour watching your videos. You guys are fantastic, keep on rocking 👍
Listen to "Mississippi" it will knock you over!!
i concur
That's pretty much what happened to me back in March of 2020. Watch one... oh, hell - watch 'em all. And then, not be sorry for the time spent. These two gals have the juice.
i found them three years ago, the same year i got my tube amp/went to college. They are a great musical influence for me, love their work
Why do we not hear her and her sister on the radio? They have so much soul it makes my heart ache for their real success. Ma’am, please stay awesome.
These gals are what its all about. It all comes from the heart with great smiles. Dam easy on the eyes too!!
Slammed it girl. Brilliant job
Mindblowing! Chuck would be proud!
Possibly my favorite song that Chuck ever did. This girl has a gift.
This is the best cover version of "No particular place to go" here on youtube!
Try "The Animals" House of the Rising Sun. Oh how I'd love to hear her sing that one.
can't stop listening to this
Good job ! Good groove ! MV
Perfect rendition!
I've played this 30 times in the last few weeks, love it.
That solo is killer, more like SRV than Chuck Berry. Great job.
Naw, it's Jump Blues like Hollywood Fats. Know Your Style, son.
This chic is awesome..... Very inspiring....
She is SO GREAT!
I'm from South Africa Great Music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i used to be her handyman in Atlanta.
The chick can rock! i cant wait until they hit it BIG big so i can say "oh, yeah, i knew them back when they were just getting started." lol.
hold 'er Newt, shes rearin' ? That’s dope
Ha! I'd say that you could easily do that already, and for the record I dig em exactly as big as they are now just fine. Any bigger and you're dancin with the devil 😎👍🏼🍻
The "momentum" before the solo it was almost like "let me turn on the guitar solo mode". 😆
Pretty Cool
Very nice Masterpiece version
… Riding along in my automobile
My baby beside me at the wheel
I stole a kiss at the turn of a mile
My curiosity runnin' wild
Cruisin' and playin' the radio
With no particular place to go
… Riding along in my automobile
I was anxious to tell her the way I feel
So I told her softly and sincere
And she leaned and whispered in my ear
Cuddlin' more and drivin' slow
With no particular place to go
… No particular place to go
So we parked way out on the Kokomo
The night was young and the moon was gold
So we both decided to take a stroll
Can you imagine the way I felt?
I couldn't unfasten her safety belt
… Ridin' along in my calaboose
Still trying to get her belt a-loose
All the way home, I held a grudge
For the safety belt that wouldn't budge
Cruisin' and playin' the radio
With no particular place to go
Thank god for young musicians like you! You keep the fire burning, thank you!
Very nice guitar work!
Excellent cover! And extra points for the New York Dolls t-shirt..that's classy!
My favorite Chuck Berry song, and often-overlooked at that. Thanks, Rebecca, and rock on Larkin Poe!
Wow! That was such a great rendition!!! Plus your "lead" talents!!! Why don't you do "more" of those lead breaks?
So really good to see someone perform with such passion and having fun! VERY contagious!!! You are Very Talented...!!!

Awesome guitar playing and vocals !
That's my sunshine on a rainy day LOVE you Mama ♥️♥️♥️
Wow! Just wow!
love
Top interpretation of Berry's hit. Love the growl in the vocal and the slippery lead guitar lines. Wish Rebecca played9 more solo lines with the full band and traded phrases with Megan during instrumental breaks more often.
Unique cette version de Chuck
You are a legit bad-ass guitar player !! Amazing job !!
Immer wieder gut! Yeah!
Very, very, very, very good.
Fabulous voice.
Amazing right from the start! 👍

That voice
Who in the hell can dislike this? They jealous or something because she smashed it.
Amazing.. killing that guitar whilst delivering a smokin vocal.
I am digging this lady, she totally gets what R&R is all about! Keef and Ronnie would do well to draft her for back up attitude!
Chuck's smiling!
completely blown away by your performance. love your retention.
Awesome! And a New York Dolls t-shirt? Instant fan earned!

To To AWESOME!!
That was GREAT........and fun!!
Top notch
Thats is how we should be playing the guitar. You wants to play rock n roll but it is sounding more blues than everyone.
This is stellar
So good
Rock on!
Great Effort
That's just too cool. Nice lead !!
rock n roll will never die
Listening to this made me forgot fot a moment all the shit is happening in the world. Thanks for that, girl.
Gotta love that good ole Chuck Berry
Larkin Poe Rocks
Awesome sister
Cool !! voice & guitar !! boogie ♪ ... from Japan
That smile is classic 🔥
Amazing
Sounds like Chuck knew exactly where he wanted to go.
This chick rocks!
Keep rockin'! Awesome!
great sense of timing
Everyone will hate me, but she’s a little too rushed on the solo for me. Also, I don’t think we need another white girl growling in an appropriation of black blues singing. There is a more authentic way to do it-IYAM.
