Also you can just right click when previewing a long sample to jump to specific parts, you don't need to even reach for the shift button. Bunch of gems in here I wish he'd slow down!
Ooooh, i was a long time user of the Plugin Manager view and couldn't be bothered to spend time making images for plugins, and turns out you implemented work just work with one click. Amazing!!! 1 thing regarding the tagging tho: if I work on multiple systems (let's say PC and laptop), it would be really cool if you could import samples with FL Tags (meaning you don't have to do all the work double). You really helped me out man I updated fl 21 and my sample browser was not showing up at all. I was just mashing the view browser button hoping it would show up, turns out all I needed was a little reset in the view tab. Almost rage quit so thanks for saving my night
Mark as favorite only dumps the sample into the Starred tab. I think there should be a way to categorize this tab further. If I want to go through my favorite snares I should not have to dig through other favored samples, right? Can you make it so that we can add our own folder structure to the Starred tab?

Funny even though I own a full version with everything I rarely use it as a DAW and prefer Reason of all things lol With all the updates and features FL has, there are just a few quirks that drive me crazy.I know it's the nature of the beast and people are used to the workflow, but if they added a "normal" DAW mode lmao I would be so on board.

This happens a lot too in TH-cam videos but, this probably messes so many people up, but around 8:45 he says, for the most part (and im paraphrasing) "The "Show only one folder content" only allows one folder to be open at a time, please *select* this if you want more than one open at a time". Selecting it, to ME, means that it should have the check mark next to it. But what this guy meant was "By default this is turned on, if you want more than one folder open at a time, make sure there's no check mark highlighted next to it" or something like that

Drop your samples/vsts onto the track header ( like he did in 2:51), and another way is to right click the channel rack sound/vst and click assign to new instrument track. Now it will be automatically linked everywhere and will edit/delete everywhere at the same time.
Is there an undo function for accidentally loading a different sample to the selected channel yet? I hate when I do that by mistake with the middle mouse wheel
My fl studio lagging when I search something it’s just freezing with enabled Indexing. When I disabled Indexing searching isn't working. M2 pro. My library is in SSD.
"Configure extra folders opens the file settings options." Use this to specify folders outside the standard folders, that hold your plugins, samples, projects, etc. Are you telling me that clicking on the File dropdown will display options that are displayed under the file dropdown? You know, I'm starting to think that this video wasn't a good starting point.
One thing I hope to see in an update is: when I install and then uninstall a plugin I don't intend to use it resurfaces whenever I install a new plugin. Very frustrating. Also, FXs show up in the generators folders and vice versa. Hopefully they can somehow fix this in the near future.
Tags are a huge upgrade but its still too tedious to tag large sample banks! It would be cool to have a way to bulk edit tags - it could even be somewhat separated from FL studio, like the plugin manager.
i really dont like that u cant customize first "all" tab. i dont need 90% of the folders in that tab. just waste of time to find something through it. in fl 20 i was able to edit EVERY tab/snapshot how i want. pls bring this possibility back
I would like to see drop 'n drag multiple samples from the browser on one pad of the fpc but that each pad of the fpc has one of the selected samples loaded. Just like you can do with Kong in Reason. I don't understand why we still have to d'n d sample per sample on each pad of the fpc.
What is described in time 15:38 is not true in the latest version of FL Studio 21. The 'Read Sample Tempo Information' Option is engaged when you drop in the sound onto the playlist, the Preview Player seems unaffected by this. I would love to understand why the change?

fl studio 20 user here. I cant keept more than one folder open on the browser. I open my projects and want to leave it open, then I open my soundfonts or whatever else folder, and the other ones close. Anyone know why and how to change it? thanks

I have red a comment in th forums that someone asked for the "show current samples used in the project" kind of thing in the Browser, that it was removed from the contextual menu. Any idea on how to have a folder with the current samples used in the project without having to favorite those?
yeah but, why go pass 125? Most producers or Beatmakers on FL Studio probably are not even using 20 tracks max on their projects unless you're mixing, tracking out tracks doing projects for the Whole darn City of LOS, Angelos and New York City combined of stems by people mixing for them! That doesn't make logical sense... You're not producing for the whole city or sharing, you're producing for yourself only! Hell I use less than 15 tracks max so, 125 is enough and I guarantee you nobody goes beyond 25 track max for one single project!
Add a [Copy to fav folder] option. ⭐ To store your fav samples forever in a more safe way then the "unsafe" fav-star. You will select your own Fav folder in file settings. Maybe even have several. Fav House Samples Fav Drill Samples Fav Chill Samples

do you have "verify plugins" on when scanning? This is required for FL Studio to be able to tell of it's an effect or a generator.

Fix the browser to have it play/preview the same quality as it is in the channel sampler. The new browser has clicks at the start of 808 samples.
I'd love to see some more stock synths and effects, like Ableton's Wavetable and Bitwig's Polymer.

File > export > zip looped package. Bring that zip file to the new computer then uncompress it.

There is option already and shortcut as well.
Select all your clips in the channel rack, then in the mixer right click an empty slot > routing > route starting from this track
