I've wanted to learn how to use fl studio for literally 6 years. Every few months I open it, get overwhelmed, look for a course on youtube, find no course that tackles all the basics and end up giving up. This is literally perfect! Thank you so much for offering it and for your patience with explaining every single bit!!
Yeah I got it 2 Christmases ago but didn’t have the basic equipment to thoroughly work with it until Christmas gone (I’m a singer first and foremost and didn’t have a microphone which I also needed for guitar) It is incredibly overwhelming. I’ve done a few covers already with it but I’m constantly thinking there’s easier ways to navigate the program and create. I feel like I do things with much more unnecessary complication compared to the ease people have online. Plus the shortcuts people use don’t seem to work on my laptop for some reason.😅
Everything is fine but i cant download the "Essential piano" on free trail version of FL STUDIO. It's sayng to unlock first and to unlock i have to buy atleat 1 edition right? Please help me i really want to learn.
Yo dawg I came here to learn fl studio and this man is so relented he just gave me the secret to making good melodies. This is so helpful it's insane. I'm thankful to have stumbled across this video.
so, 30 minutes in and i have to say as somebody who has never done anything musical this tutorial has been very interesting and easy to follow. i watched other tutorials before because i want to write my own music for a project and it felt like every other tutorial expected me to actually understand at least some fundamentals which i have none. i love this video and i think our way of learning is pretty similar (learning by doing instead of learning technical mumbo jumbo). and so everything is just clicking into place, and in fact i even figured out some of the things you were gonna do before you did it!
Bruh, I'm just starting, and I've wasted so much time watching "professionals" show me how to do these things, and none of them were as great a TEACHER as you, dawg. Interesting course... Love it btw :)
This is hands down the best FL tutorial I've seen on here. Really easy to follow, I'm finally starting to get somewhere. Thanks so much for posting.
I got my first-ever midi mini keyboard just recently, since my mom wanted to send funds after I mentioned I wanna save for one. I got the Akai MPK3 Mini, since it's the best seller now. Back then, my main focus was Korg. Hehe. Both Japanese.
This video is just brilliant, the way you explain everything and your energy throughout the whole episode is amazing. I’ve learnt so much and now all I want to do is buy FL and crack on
Big ups
no way they actually did beat making tutorial, ♥️
I really appreciate this course! Thanks Tristan and FCC team! I have been using FL for 14 years and didn't expect a course on it here, but a welcome change!
I tried to download the free packs at 2:50. But it prompted "This preset is free for owners of FL Studio..." Seems we have to buy FL Studio in order to proceed here?
yes, a lot of the stuff comes with a higher cost version.
same he should have used trial version to ensure all of us are on same page
Absolutely incredible course! Tristan covers all the basics in a really easy to understand way. So glad this exists!
This is so cool!!! I started using Fl Studio back when it was Fruity Loops and before I got into Software Engineering!!! It was amazing to see how they both could go hand and hand as an Independent Producer. I commend you for this!!! How can I find you online?
Whaaat?, FL Studio?
So cool, this is like a new wind of change in this channel !!
This seems odd. Extending into other domains is always fun though. Great to see it was about music.
Thoroughly enjoyed this unexpected tutorial.
FCC please bring back this guy, he dangled the part 2 carrot and we need to finish it.
its halfway recorded, sorry it took so long im going to have it finished here within the next month
update the new tutorial is now out :)
@@Tristan_Willcox Thanks I saw it a few hours after it was posted.
all the "free" packs in FLEX say I need to own FL Studio for them to be free. I thought you said we can use the free trial to follow along in this video?
Just the tutorial I was looking for. Feel like I know everything neccessary to start making music and navigate through FL
We cookin beats now???
