Your channel is becoming my happy place. That tune 🥵😍
Le tissier what a player what great days
Thanks for the this. Wow brings back so much childhood memories. Keep them going . and the music is so good.
The first season I got into football, good times, proper players, much better than today's football
Imagine how many goals would Cantona scored if he didn't do some Kung Fu fighting at palace
Brings back memories!
I used to love football❤😢
Something has changed, hasn't it.
@@cycklist it sure has, don’t think the football I loved is coming back either.
We can always reminisce gents. Those kits, those old goals and nets. Just nothing like it for me. 90’s was the best 🫶🏻
Yeah games gone now totally 🙁
A reminder; Robbie Fowler only turned 20 towards the end of this season. He had scored 118 senior goals before his 22nd birthday. At the same age Shearer had 43.
I think it was Robbie's 2nd season as a 1st teamer. He'd displaced Clough, Stewart and everyone else except Rush at that point. He was phenomenal in the early years but by '97 (and Owen's emergence) it started to peter out. 96-7 was the high water mark. Still, 'Bernie' was my favorite player in those days even above Owen. Shame his later career didn't match the lightning start (and Shearers longevity), but it was fun to see while it lasted. That hat-trick against Arsenal will never be forgotten.
The 1994/95 season had the greatest kits ever.
The kit shinys in the merlin stickers.....👌🏻
Had a guess myself before watching the video and came up with
Klinsmann
Fowler
Cole
Shearer
Ferdinand
Wright
Sutton
Yorke
Sheringham
Collymore
Rideout
Le Tissier
Kanchelskis
Ndlovu
Dublin
Not bad. Didn't realise Cantona scored 12 despite missing half the season. Forgot all about the likes of Saunders, Rush, Beardsley.
Amazing days though.
Imagine Kanchelskis in the modern era in a front three, scary player
Shearer was head and shoulders above every other striker in the league.
😂😂😂
Oh god, laugh reaction morons even pop up on TH-cam?
Spot on mate, pains me to say it as a United fan, he was an absolute beast
@@mikejackson1003 head and shoulders above every striker in the league.
If he hadn't done his cruciate at 21, reckon Fowler would have outscored him. He already had 110 goals by then, averaging 33 a season.
@@ApeOfMyIdeal Idk about that. Shearer also tore his ACL at 22 and his ankle at 27.
Fowler also played for an all out attacking Liverpool side in the mid 90s and had McManaman firing the bullets to him.
Fanboys of today
They have no clue how good those players were
By the way
Le tissier was not a striker
This isn’t a top 20 strikers countdown, it’s a top 20 GOALSCORERS countdown.
You barely get 3 players getting 20 goals a season
When football was watchable....now all boring robots
