Nobody sings like Freddie Mercury. Queen is a band of four master musicians that all wrote gorgeous songs and were multi talented musicians. Mercury was the greatest rock frontman of all time.
Best rock song of all time is considered to be Stairway to heaven but bohemian rhapsody is a contender. For some people it's free bird for some its house of the rising sun, some hotel California, pink floyd has a few contenders. I'm not a Beatles fan but they have some contenders for some people.
@EvoDevo2004 not denieying that. It's a masterpiece. Yet again it's art always subjective so who cares what's being said to be greatest w/e of all time it's all amazing art.
“somebody to love” live from Montreal 1981 is recommended as next one from Queen. The Queen fans on here will give plenty of material and info , just know live Queen is phenomenal and many believe their 20 minute set at Live Aid (charity event ) in 1985 was the most iconic performance of all time .
Absolutely! I was at that very concert, 8th row, and centre. I could see the sweat on Freddie's brow. Best birthday I ever had. Sadly, he died 10 years later, also on my birthday.
I was 12 years old when this was released; it changed my life! Bohemian Rhapsody was unique when released: the structure, the fact that they refused to cut it down from its six + minute length. If you go down the Queen path, you'll have a great journey, and a lot of folks to go along with you.
Let me introduce you the Queen: Freddie Mercury the lead singer and pianist, Brian May the guitarist, John Deacon the bassist and Roger Taylor the drummer, they all were highly graduated. Queen is the most versatile rock band, they wrote their own stuff in several genres from rock to jazz, to pop, etc. about 200 songs. There are several theories about the meaning of the song, but Freddie never explained his lyrics and especially not this one, it remains his secret forever. He had 3 unfinished songs and then he put them together into this mysterial masterpiece.
You've heard queen.... "We will rock you" "We are the champions " "Another one bites the dust " All queen songs React to Queens performance at "Live aid " 1985
A few fun facts about Queen: * Guitarist Sir Brian May has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and built his electric guitar (Red Special) when he was 17 (with his dad). * Bassist John Deacon has a degree in electronics. He designed and built the amp that Brian sometimes uses to create unique sounds on Red Special. John was also involved in the band’s financial management. * Drummer Roger Taylor has a degree in biology (pre-med). His vocal range is better than most lead singers of other groups. * Lead singer Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design. It goes without saying that his vocal range was amazing and he was the best front man of any band. * All four have written #1 hits, and all are members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
I recently read that Queen did 180 separate overdubs on this recording without the aid of today's technology. This song had to be bounced 8 times across 24 track tape by their amazing engineer Roy Thomas Baker. This is an iconic song, still popular 50 years after it was recorded. A musical masterpiece composed by Freddie Mercury and outstandingly performed by the four members of this band. Thank you for your reaction.
I love when u say, WHO IS HE, I grew up in the 70's and QUEEN was and still is the Best Band in my Opinion, Freddie was an Icon! Saw them perform Live in Toronto, Canada on Aug 30th, 1980. Best damn Concert I ever saw. My 3 children were brought up listening to Queen, even though Freddie had passed, and they are all in the mid 30's and still Love Queen
I love your reaction to this epic song. This created a whole new genre of music called 'Rock Opera' and band like ABBA,Queen and the BeeGees were cranking out endless hit songs throughout the 60s,70s and 80s( esp during the Disco Era of the 70s). Enjoy all of the marvelous gems and legendary musicians ❤❤❤☮️☮️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
When people say you've most probably heard Queen, they mean like We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Another One Bites The Dust, Don't Stop Me Now.... any of those ring a bell? :-)
This was in 1975, they were a group from 1970-1991, when Freddie passed away. Brian (lead guitarist):and Roger (drums) both have great voices and still have been touring on and off, lately with Adam Lambert. They’re in their 70s. But can’t ever beat Freddie, or enjoy anything the same. They’ll never be another Freddie. RIP ❤❤❤ Freddie.
I sang this in a wine bar in Covent Garden, with my BFF, the waiter and the couple on the other table watching me, all the way through.. Yeh. I did that! Their jaws dropped and they clapped when I finished. Yup.. Me. they clapped ME!
All harmonies in the a cappella intro are sung by lead singer, Freddie. The operatic section are three of them recording 180 overdubs to achieve the effect of a chorus. Dan Vasc does a great cover of BoRhap.
This song came out in the mid 70s and it is timeless!! Please react to their song "Somebody to love" live in Montreal 81, I promise you will be blown away
It is three different songs Freddie was working on and decided to merge them. They display the five stages of Grief. Fantastic Group. Freddie was a musical GENIUS.
Never never pause on a Brian May solo. He's the lead guitarists. Lead singer Freddie Mercury died Nov. 1991. The rest are still alive even though John Deacon, the base guitarists, left the bank after Freddie died. I recommend you watch the movie Bohemian Rapsody for some background on the band. Then watch Live Aid.
Freddie Mercury has been voted to have the greatest voice ever, many times 🙂 He died of AIDS in 1991. This song is in the movie Wayne's world. Best headbanger scene ever! You must have heard We will rock you, We are the champions or Show must go on.
What you are watching is a musical masterpiece ! I don’t know who would dare cover this song !! But whoever they are, there is no way anyone can sing like Freddie Mercury !! Maybe the greatest male vocalist ever ! I got it between Freddie Mercury, Elvis Presley, and Steve Perry
Queen: We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Another One Bites The Dust, … You’ll see them all if you watch the full set of Queen at Live Aid in 1985. The WHOLE thing at once. You probably saw it on Wayne’s World, but it’s been in lots of things, including covered like a thousand times. Original epic, great, a masterpiece. Freddie Mercury is famous for his stage presence, VOICE!!! and best frontman if any group ever. Piano--great at. All self learned, except 2 years of piano when he was young. He was a genius musician with vocal ranges almost unprecedented.
First time watching your channel. Loved seeing your react to this for the first time. I was in high school when this came out. No auto tune back then. I look forward to seeing more of your channel. Great job!
I cannot believe you have never heard of this song OR Queen and the legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury who we sadly lost in 1991. This was a massive hit in 1975 and Queen became one of the biggest rock bands ever. There is even a film of Freddie's life called Bohemian Rhapsody.
Freddie was the best front man ever.RIP. You have so much to explore about Queen, suggest the live aid concert, also Someone to love, there are so many.
The opening harmonies are actually all Freddie Mercury (lead singer) singing with himself. Bohemian Rhapsody is from 1975, so yes, a lot older than sixteen years. As Freddie died in 1991, they don't tour as original. Sir Brian May (astrophysicist & guitarist) & Roger Taylor (drummer) still perform as Queen+Adam Lambert. The bassist, John Deacon, retired from the group in 1997 (I think) after they finished their last Queen album using snippets of song lyrics Freddie had recorded for them in his final days. Freddie's range is stunning. He goes soft to growl to rock, back to soft up to head voice and all back again from sentence to sentence. You probably know several Queen songs even if you don't know they are from Queen. "You're My Best Friend", "We Will Rock You" (stomp stomp clap - every sporting event), "We Are The Champions" (also sporting events), "Under Pressure" (sampled in Rap), maybe "Killer Queen" (sampled in Rap), "Another One Bites The Dust", "Don't Stop Me Now". Many are used in film & commercials. And no, I'd say do not react to their 20 minute Live Aid set from that charity concert yet. You need more exposure to Queen's other full songs first.
This video, shown on the UK pop music programme 'Top of the Pops' in late 1975 is what instantly turned me into a Queen fan. This many years later, I love watching the younger generations discovering their genius. Lead singer & pianist, Freddie Mercury. A vocal range you wouldn't believe... Lead guitar, backing vocals, and occasional pianist, Doctor Sir Brian May (he has a PhD in Astrophysics) Drums, backing vocals and occasional lead vocals, Roger Taylor (Biology BSc - pre-med) Bass guitar (and would teach himself any other instrument that was required) John Deacon. (BSc in Electronic Engineering) Unlike many bands, Queen songs in live performances are frequently more enjoyable than the studio versions. To follow this song (which is engraved on the British consciousness) try 'Somebody to Love' live in Montreal in 1981. Then their 20 minute set from Live Aid in 1985, a worldwide charity concert in aid of African famine victims. Subscribing for more Queen.....
The next required Queen viewing for any reactor is their 22 minute set at the Live Aid concert in 1985, Find Me Somebody to Love live in Montreal 1981, Save Me from the same Montreal show and then the Queen rabbit hole is practically endless. If you’ve seen season 1 of Good Omens, Queen music is featured quite bit. Also the biopic about Freddie called Bohemian Rhapsody came out a few years ago, Rami Malek won the Oscar for playing Freddie Mercury. The very first concert I ever went to was to see Queen. They’ve been my favorite band ever since. Rarely does a day go by that I don’t listen to at least one song.
They wrote all their songs,it became diamond on Spotify. The group line up remainde the same till Freddie died of Aids in 91. He continued recording until a few months before his death . They released more than 14 albums this song was number 1 in uk for 8 weeks. They made this video because they were going on tour which allowed to be played on a important music show top of the pops while they were away. Their directing and creativity first showed in this, they continued to develop sone of the best videos. Above all they were a band you had to see live they were electric. Their music is still played today others told you what the remains of the band are doing now and very successfully. Freddie he lead singer had a hard time he was gay in a tine theat wasnt accepted, born of Indian parents in Zanzibar he faced discrimination because of his hertiage. When he finally found true love with Jim Hutton he was diagnosed with aids two years into the relationship, Freddie released Jim from the relationship but he wouldnt go love and cared and nursed Freddie and was there when he took his last breath. If you decide to look into Queen you will see a sudden growth in your platform on TH-cam us Queen fan are a liyal bunch. Ice been a fan since 72 the song which made that fab was Luar on their first album. There is a great clear 8 minutes of pure joy on TH-cam sering them early on live you'll see what a talent they were even then. So it Liar live at the Rainbow 1974. You'll love it promise. Blessings from England xx
If you have seen the movie Highlander, you would have heard them they scored the whole movie ('Who wants to live forever' being one of the most successful single) Football stadiums and many films contain 'We will rock you' and We are the champions'
Great reaction. I hope you continue down the Queen rabbit hole. Some other songs to check out by them are Somebody to Love live at Montreal 1981. White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Dragon Attack, Keep Yourself Alive and Another One Bites the Dust live at Montreal 1981.
This song is a masterpiece. Queen was an amazing band. Keep going down the queen rabbit hole your just getting started. Their catalog is huge also their luve performances are unbelievable. Lead singer/Piano player/composer-Freddie Mercury, lead guitarist-Brian May, drummer-Roger Taylor, bass guitarist-John Deacon. You know their music because you’ve probably heard We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You and Another One Bites the Dust. By the way they’re even better live. Try Somebody to Love live Montreal 1981.
This song is without question the greatest rock song that has ever been written and sung by one of the greatest voices was ever a!! Freddie Mercury died from AIDS in 1991. The band finally got a new a new lead singer a few years ago. A gentleman named Adam Lambert who is also of questionable sexuality. I would Recommend that you dive down the QUEEN rabbit hole!!!! They are one of the greatest rock bands ever!!!!
Best rock song of all time is considered to be Stairway to heaven but bohemian rhapsody is a contender. For some people it's free bird for some its house of the rising sun, some hotel California, pink floyd has a few contenders. I'm not a Beatles fan but they have some contenders for some people. Purple haze for some.
Queen has an amazing catalog of songs... and you WILL know some of them. Freddie Mercury had an amazing voice, but they can all sing ( well Deacy, the bassist doesn't really ) but all band members compose songs & each has #1 hits. Try Somebody to Love, 1981 Montreal (a live concert) and Live Aid, which was a global jukebox for famine relief in 1985. They are amazing live but also have some really good music videos... Keep doing Queen and the Queenies will come and your channel will grow. One tip... never, ever pause during a Sir Dr. Brian May ( the guitarist) solo. It's considered bad form.
Excellent reaction, this is the first time I’ve seen you. You may find The Beatles song Oh! Darling really good, it is my favorite after Here Comes The Sun. 👍
Sorry brother, it's not a band I grew up listening to (in the 90s it was all rap and hip hop). I guess I've heard of their songs without knowing it was them!
Rule no.1: NEVER ever pause during the guitar solo! Question no.1: Where do you come from that you haven't heard of Bohemian Rhapsody? Geez even if you come from Antarctica you must have heard it. Advice no. 1: Educate yourself about Queen, please. All together, it looks like you're using Queen to lure Queen fans to help your channel grow... Asking questions like: When this was aired? 16 years ago? Do they still tour? are making me angry because they are so ... khm ... stupid. Sorry but I don't believe you are genuinely interested in Queen. Answer no.1: Boh Rhap was released in 1975 ... That was 49 years ago. For you it is like in a stone age, darling.
Haha I mean you can be upset all you want, the fact that I only didn't one song should tell you I'm not "using them" to grow my channel. Actually, it was a recommendation by one of my long time subscribers. No one else has recommended a Queen song (other than Queen fans) and therefore i have not reacted to them since. I doubt you watch my other videos, so I'll tell you now, I sometimes ask very obvious questions because when I make a statement based on "common sense" I'm usually wrong and the comments let me know. So instead of making an educated guess, i ask questions. Thanks for your input, it's noted... somewhere around here.
@@Clouded_ReactionsDon't be ridiculous, darling! 😅 😂 (I'm borrowing this from someone you don't know anything about and you probably never will.) All of that talking of yours and basically saying nothing it really shows who you are, but who cares. Perhaps someday you'll understand what I was trying to tell you. Untill then, just stay away from Freddie and Queen. You really have a lot of growing and learning in front of you.
@@iris67si I like how you couldn't refute anything I said. You hope I understand what you were trying to tell me? There was no hidden knowledge you bestowed upon me in either of your statements. You basically said I used an artist to grow my channel, if that were the case, I'd have A LOT more Queen reaction videos. I don't and I don't care about subs, ALL MY INTROS I tell people to not sub just because I'm reacting to their favorite artists. Anyways, I hope you get off the internet for a bit and enjoy the weather outside, it's actually pretty great 👍
Freddie was marvelous! The whole band are so talented, but they aren't the same without Mr. Mercury. I spent my 24th B-day at the Queen concert in Montreal Nov 24, 1981. Sadly Freddie also passed on my birthday Nov 24, 1991. I light a candle for him and play his song Who Wants To Live Forever. I always enjoy watching reactions from people who have never experienced Queen before. Thanks
Make sure you checkout Led Zeppelin, you won’t be disappointed, they do Rock Blues Funk Folk Prog & all to perfection. I think I’ll first suggest Dazed & Confused, if you can get it, pick the video from Madison Square Garden (1973) or Royal Albert Hall (1970). Jimmy Page plays his guitar with a violin bow, & it’s amazing.
You should check out the short film The Egg. Not even necessarily as a video review, but you should just see it! It’s a cool take on life/death/etc. interesting stuff
Pro tip: Stopping it a lot will guarantee fast forwarding. More than three times in a six minute song is egregious. Five times in the first 30 seconds is practically a dealbreaker.
Sorry, that's a pro tip for reactors who care about growing their channel. I do warn people I stop the video for commentary, I also tell them in the intro to NOT SUB if they're doing so just for the artist. I want a base of support who like my videos for me, not just their favorite artists. Appreciate the tips though
@@Clouded_Reactions You're very kind. And yes, you should do it as you see fit. I don't offer what seems like abrasive commentary just to be a dick. I actually hope that it might be taken for what it is; just a viewer who loves reactions. Purely feedback, nothing more. Cheers!
I know that this is not the place but I can promise you that the bible doesn't say that we are going to go to heaven but it tells us that we will live here on earth forever. Talk to a Jehovah's witness the next time that you talk to one.
Young man I’m trying to decide if I should subscribe to your channel you seem cool, but you need to stop pausing the song every 30 seconds. Other than that your reaction is cool.
Ah you're gonna have to not subscribe brother. I'm an idiot and I mention it numerous times in my videos. During my reactions there's things that I want to say but I will most likely forget if I have to wait til the end of the song. I pause for commentary, no other reason. Sorry man, I appreciate the comment though ❤️

R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU
Quanto mi piace quando qualcuno ascolta per la prima volta la voce di Freddie e dice qualcosa tipo: caspita, che voce questo ragazzo. Ma chi è? XD
Greatest song ever written and performed. Check out this song at LiveAid. Hope you enjoy your Queen journey.😮
Befoore watching the whole video
"I wonder if these guys are still touring around!?"
Me: *dies* Unfortunatlely "No"
Queen has an amazing catalog of songs... and you WILL know some of them.
The greatest song of all time, I don't say that lightly
A true torture soul was Freddie.
This song is in the movie Wayne’s World.
Excellent reaction, this is the first time I’ve seen you. You may find The Beatles song Oh! Darling really good, it is my favorite after Here Comes The Sun. 👍
Please do more Queen. Great reaction thank you
Also, you may not know this song, but I if you watch sports, you have definitely heard Queen. Try "We Will Rock You", and "We Are the Champions".
How could you have not known Freddie Mercury and his world wide famous band 'Queen' ?
It doesn't make any sense !!!
(I'm borrowing this from someone you don't know anything about and you probably never will.)
All of that talking of yours and basically saying nothing it really shows who you are, but who cares.
Thanks
I’m subscribing to your channel in the hopes that you will react to lots more Queen songs. 💕💜💕💜💕💜
Please go down the Queen Rabbit Hole. .
There are millions of us Queenies
Make sure you checkout Led Zeppelin, you won’t be disappointed, they do Rock Blues Funk Folk Prog & all to perfection. I think I’ll first suggest Dazed & Confused, if you can get it, pick the video from Madison Square Garden (1973) or Royal Albert Hall (1970). Jimmy Page plays his guitar with a violin bow, & it’s amazing.
I was born in 2002 and my favourite bands are queen ,Beatles❤ idk what was wrong with me tho😅 btw react to Bohemian rhapsody Montreal live
Lol....this guy is actually singing to the sing so don't fall for this 1st time listen😂
You do realize I sing along after I rewinded it right?
There is no comparison.
You should check out the short film The Egg. Not even necessarily as a video review, but you should just see it! It’s a cool take on life/death/etc. interesting stuff
It's in Wayne's World.
Put all your trust in God. Don't fear death, God is waiting for you.
Reaction Queen Bohemia Rhapsody rhapsody live 1981 pliss 🙏🏼❤️
Who's that Tonny? The new Angelina Pentatonix?
Seeing Brian May do the guitar solo was one of my very few life goals managed to see it ❤ without the legend though sadly
Like your hat
Appreciate it!
Cheers!
Watch the movie Bohemian Rhapsody and it was on Waynes World
And the opening used in Suicide Squad
@@JordinioToon92 I didn't know about that one
First part one voice layered 4 times opera part 4 layered 16 times nearly broke the tape recorded on
Freddie's is not here anymore, unfortunately ❤
💔💔💔
Who is he? 😂😂😂
Same, lol.
And now you are ready for Tommys outstanding cover of this amazing Queen song 😀🇸🇪
Your next video to watch is Queen Live Aid
Never pause a Brian May solo😡😡🎼❤️🎼🇬🇧
How can you not know who Freddy Mecury is.
Some people don't know who Eminem is 😂 it's just the bubble we tend to be placed in sometimes brother
Welcome to the queen rabbit hole my friend your journey is going to be a long one … try queen .. live aid
Another version you may like: Pentatonix - Bohemian Rhapsody (Official Video) th-cam.com/video/ojRj2JK5oCI/w-d-xo.html

Please,pause less.Thanks.Otherwise doing great!
Watch the movie
I'll definitely look into it, I'll have to find where it's streaming
SO YOU KNOW BROTHER SCIENCE WHEN USED CORRECTLY PROVES THE BIBLE
I need to take those classes lol it's a personal struggle of mine for sure
watch the movie same title
Not a bad reaction, but...... way too many interruptions. The flow of this classic piece is constantly interrupted.....😢
Sorry, I do warn people that I tend to pause the video to ask questions or give compliments to what I've just heard :/
