No, it's not gonna boom that much as you might be thinking Answer to this is second level thinking. Usually most of the people currently think that because of EV being the future, all battery makers are gonna have huge top line(revenue), it's not that simple. That's not how it would be, there's second level thinking that if EV is gonna be the future and car making companies know that 45% of the cost would be of batteries, do u really think that they are gonna buy batteries from other companies, I don't think that's happening. To have a good profit margin and succeed in long term, companies will look to start manufacturing batteries (Tata has already set up the plant for Li-ion batteries)

It was right time to start that business because the recession happened due to home loans given by institutions to people ( and they mortgaged this loans and other stuff) so there was a lot of home loans so it was I think bound to succeed.
