I flew from the Uk on virgin some 15 years ago, and as we boarded the plane, Richard Branson was welcoming people in. We were the last to board so he asked us to join him in first class. We chatted all the way and he had his notebook with him and scribbled away. It was a pleasure to meet him, a real gent. I'll never forget it and have followed him ever since. As a fellow dyslexic, he is truly inspiring to me.

This was an incredible episode! As a parent with a child who is dyslexic, when listening to Mr. Branson talk about his algebra struggles, no understanding to the things that have no relevance in his eyes he checks out and goes to read, research or watch what he’s interested in and masters it all. Mr. Branson kudos to you executing your visions to reality! There was so much to take away from this interview. 👏
Lastly, when I tell my son he’s different he always tells me “I’m a different type of smart”. While in school he never realized he had additional accommodations and when I was trying to explain to him what that meant and he didn’t instead continued to ask the school to put him in harder classes and I advocated for him no matter his differences in thinking. Again, great interview Mr. Branson is an amazing businessman!

It's not if you have a court case.
Its why so many dyslexic men are in jail currently I think.
The system can write faster than some people can read.
      It's literally that.
They could be innocent or and productive.
There's a gap in the market for diagnosis and Advocates for dyslexic people who can't afford legal fees but could pay something towards the help.
It's a politically charged hornets nest if anyone did it.
      But it's a good fight.
It looks as if there this help but in reality it's not in place.
I am a dyslexic and no help diagnosed late in life dyslexic people in my experience don't give up easily. But it's a double bind system where winning is for losers.
Here's the to do list of what's necessary
      1) Decent reading software qnd extra appointments for dyslexics.
2)Advocates qnd accounting for dyslexic people in court proceedings.
      3) Training given to legal professionals so they understand their own neurodivergence and how this can colour their perception of how dyslexic people work.
4)Memory prompts and notes allowed in court if the person has memory issues.
      5) intelligence tests that are dyslexia friendly
      6) loan people assistive technology
      7) 3xtra time given for reading court documents.
      8) Extra time for legal aid representatives to go through dyslexic peoples anointing of documents.
      9) Disability laws change so that everyone has a fair trial.
      10) Inclusion on the ground that there is different people who learn differently and that's OK.
      = culture change.
      11) Thanks for listening. Dyslexic people do communicate in unconventional ways.
We break social norms if necessary because the apparatus wasn't designed for us.
It's a different more wordy neurotype.
It doesn't make us mad bad or wrong.
      ✌️

I have wanted to work for Richard Branson ever since then. He sounds amazing and sounds likes a really great man to work for.
As the saying goes; "look after your staff and your staff will look after your business".

I wrote a letter to Richard over a year ago as I wanted some advice on building a business, although the response from presumably his PR company was nice I've always wished to have spoken with Sir Richard Branson, I'm glad you did this interview as I feel like I perhaps now have. Thanks, Steven!

Your guest Richard Branson, Wow! a true inspiring gentle soul . I didn't have to think it out within the contradictions of one's mind when it came to listening to Richard, as aposed to others you have interviewed whom have "made it" so to speak- be it -selling and buying consciousness =knocking people out or making money selling vape and alcohol to a variety of society's people and life's consequences that factually break up family's because of addictive substances etc... I purely felt Richard is a great achiever in the best scence of the word.
Although others on your show have a place to be there, I think The likes of Richard Branson is light years above.
Richard gives freely a true aspirational and inspirational flow of genuine consciousness and being to people. He doesn't seem to play people on his path to success and pose himself as something he's not ... he comes across in an authentic true form of a good humanbeing . We hope and look forward to more like him on your program.
