LeBron is just when he was saying and he ended up getting the opposite answer and response!Curry and Draymond Green are very professional in how they have handled this situation! The reality is that the greats before this new generation of basketball never wanted to play with their nemesis or rival. They wanted to COMPETE against these individuals because competition and success feels so much greater when you achieve it against your great counter parts. This generation of basketball shows to much fraternizing and less of the competitors edge. So Steph made great response, and show be applicable across the board. The reality IS a ring doesn't solidify or defines greatness.

Glad to see the way these guys broke down how much sense it makes logically for a Steph/Lebron pairing on the court. Steph understands and appreciates the context of what Lebron said but he understands the media will speculate endlessly so he had to say he was fine where he is. The media has completely moved on from trying to actually cover basketball to strictly focusing on narratives and gossip lol. Lebron was asked hypothetically who he would want to play with and it makes total sense that with his vision and driving ability that he would say he wants to play with the greatest shooter ever LOL. Curry is so smart to shut down the conversation right when the media asked for his take. He knew if he politely entertained it the world would blew up and it would be hard for the heart and soul of the team Dray who plays Lebron's position to not get a tiny bit distracted. We have giannis, embidd, jokic, lebron, steph, Durant, harden etc etc. And what's impressive is that when I list out 8 players, we actually have WAY more players that are capable of filling "top players in the league" spot. This is a thriving basketball era. Appreciate it when these guys are still around. (even steph is getting older and has slowed down on his release.)
side note : I love Green. Although he's not top 10 caliber individually, I believe he's as important to warriors as steph. He has, not appearing to some, super high basketball IQ. (I am talking about rondo tier). I love players who play smart defence.

Put curry in the game and you have a video game level player who can make shots from anywhere without even trying. Right now lebron says the player he wants to play with in the whole league is curry. That says a lot alone. Curry is it, the ultimate shooter. The evolved shooter with unlimited range while still keeping a high fg percentage every damn game which doesn't happen in this league. Name another player more unstoppable or unguardable. Before lamelo came in the league....also steph has the best handles and dribbling. Dude has everything going for him, and he's not really tall enough or lengthy enough to be a defensive player anyway effectively. That's not his job. His job is 35 points a game. Plus people don't realize curry doesn't even try. When he's trying.... tell me he's not the best player in the league. I'm not stephen a smith a hater snubbing curry over some player from the 80s. Unlike the other twos, especially Bron who’s a force in the paint. I’ve seen Kobe and Lebron take over the 4th quarter like no other before. Stop it! Most the stars are too cocky to get back and defend or give more effort. But again you miss my point curry ain't built to defend his frame isn't like that and he's not tall enough to block shots. His job is 35 a game every game and he rarely has a bad game. You're gonna take those years the warriors won back to back and 3 out 5 year champions and youre still gonna tell me lebron or kd are better then steph. Ok. But that's you're opinion. No one asks a forward in soccer to also be good at defending. Everyone has a job. He is the offensive head of the Warriors. And again take away foul points and giannis joker embiid lose 10 points off their average. Curry rarely gets called if you've noticed also. Imagine if he got to the line with every lay up. Go ask any nba player and I'm sure they'd say the most intimidating player the biggest threat, or ask a coach, is steph curry when he's hot. Aka unstoppable. They've already said that matter of fact. He's a team killer by himself. And we're talking about 2022, not lebron on the cavs or westbrook a few years ago dominance. Right now. Yes lebron was during his cavs days. If LeBron was an NFL player no one would mind him building "superteams", wanting to play alongside his buddies or other great players.

yeah but in the nfl one player whos not the qb doesn't have much impact like one player does in basketball

As a Warriors fan, I didn’t like when they got KD, and would like it less if they got LeBron. It cheapens any success. #superteamssuck

Jordan with a top 50 all nba and a top 75 all nba history is not a superteam?
Jordan recruiting Rodman who beat him in his Detroit years)
      Curry, Klay, KD and Dray.
      Kareem, Magic, Worthy?
Bird, Kevin and Perish? All were super teams
