  • Steph Curry’s four-year, $44 million contract is one of the most talked-about contracts in sports history. Steph won 2 MVPs under the contract and it gave the Warriors the cap flexibility to bring in Kevin Durant. But according to Steph, Draymond Green is the first to connect the dots on how that contract was the driving force behind Steph choosing Under Armour over Nike.

      God bless you and God bless anyone reading this! Hope you have an awesome day! Seek him while you can! Jesus is the way and the only way and he is returning soon! Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER!
      For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
      John 3:16 KJV
      The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! Trust that God will help with the rest!

    let's be very clear because people always leave out this fact. Steph was a very talented player that was incredibly injury-prone. He took that deal and ran with it because at THAT TIME, this was the best deal for him. No one knew he would change up his entire training regiment and get a better foundation to prevent injuries to become the player he is today. hindsight is always 20/20

      @elliemyers6435 2 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      This is a good point. Because I think the year before Steph signed this deal, he missed like 50 games, so, getting that was some good security for him. Now, if he had "bet on himself" and not signed that deal, and got a bigger max (which he absolutely would've gotten), then, Dray is right. No way they can sign KD, probably can't sign Andre, and they probably can't keep both Dray and Klay. It's amazing how things work out in hindsight. Plus, steph has gotten SUPER paid since (and is worth every penny), so everything REALLY worked out for all parties. It's also wild how for that 2009 draft class, how low that extension was, and how it ballooned up after the lockout in 2012.

      I've watched curry since '09 and been a dubs fan since '90(sprewell was my first jersey) and I rarely ever see a superstar be so humble and true to themselves like Curry. Alot of athletes change when they enter the league(money, lifestyle, etc.)but curry has remained the same since stepping onto the scene. Even if you're not a warriors' fan it's hard not to appreciate this guy. I have never seen this guy ever act or say anything negative on and off the court.

    One of the best hoopin shoes I ever bought were under armor. I bought 3 pairs in different colorways after playing in the first pair for a while.
