When I select the first line segments to pull forward, I can not get them to snap to the green axis. They will only snap to the red axis. They will not pull forward, they will only adjust based on the red axis, and remain flat. How do I get it to snap to the green axis? The snap hint does not appear for me.
Sorry for the confusion, I'll be posting a tutorial with a real parametric plugin for SketchUp. Meawhile, here is a sample video -----> th-cam.com/video/cKBb6NZ8mb0/w-d-xo.html
Parametric modeling in SketchUp ----> th-cam.com/video/cKBb6NZ8mb0/w-d-xo.html Hi everyone! I'll be posting an update of this tutorial soon using VizPro / Viz Studio, a parametric modeler extension for SketchUp. Hit the bell icon to be notified. Cheers!
Ron Askier Saga Quad Face tools - selecting the lines, SubD - smoothing the geometry...For the last part you can use Slicer5 plugin instead doing the cutting manually. You can watch our latest video here: th-cam.com/video/AT5Hh6n8iGI/w-d-xo.html Slicer5 was used on the last part.
first understand the parametric design. its not a manual modelling. we give some parameters by visual programming based on that input data a model will be generated. so you should know the cocept of parametric design
I want to build this wall for my parents house, any design is fine and the dimensions are as follows: 2.1m (H) and 3m (W). Anyone willing to help by providing me with dimensions to cut on CNC, willing to pay obviously 😉. I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦
You can use your arrow keys to guide you in which direction you'd like to move it. If you need a different direction other than your default axes you can reorient your axes under the axes setting.
the end result may look similar but it is just manual modeling, basically right the opposite of "parametric"...
Great work, Thanks for sharing ...
Excellent job
nice! will do it in my style in my channel
Beautiful, Can iget CNC file
Thats cool Man..
Thanks!
great work
dear friend can you tell me plz
How to output this DXF file for CNC machine cutting?
wow coool
where can i buy ready to cut template?
good job, thank you
It would be easier and quicker if you would use slicer plugin
I will. In my next uploads. cheers!
This is a manual process. Not parametric. Plus their is an extension to easily do this.
What extension can easily do this?
@@mitch5991 the extension is slicer. watch these videos th-cam.com/video/t2bjnCwLJyk/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/hN_U_Sy0AjA/w-d-xo.html
WHY I CANT LIKE FORM IT, WHEN I DRAG IT ITS STILL FLAT
Can i get fabrication drawings for the same ?
👌
Всем привет.хорошая работа!!кто знает как в "компас 3д" делать параметрические узоры?
Thank you
but where are the parametric functions in this design?
So it isn't parametric tho
This one is. ----> th-cam.com/video/cKBb6NZ8mb0/w-d-xo.html I'll post a tutorial soon.

Thanks

I figured it out. Left arrow key.
Hi Jessica, arrow keys come in handy in that case. Up = Z (blue) axis, Left = Y (green) axis & Right = X (red) axis.
@@ArkiEd_ph Hi, I have same problem here, tried ( Y / left ) and others axis keys but without any change, please help ...
how is this parametric? not sure where the adjustable parameters are it looks very manual to me.. ?

Who was on the soundtrack? Thanks in advance.
How do u select the line only without selecting the others with it
I used the “select loop” of QuadFace Tools. Give the plugin a try. It’s very useful and..... it’s free ;)
