- The next HUSBANDS IDEA! For this one, he thought it would be cool to make DRAGONBALLS ⭐️ When we set out to do this, I thought I would just make one... but then I found out there are SEVEN Dragonballs! Soooo if you know me at all, you know I had to at least make more than one lol I made FOUR Dragonballs & it nearly destroyed me... so many days of work when into making these. So many layers of resin, I also made one of them into a LIGHT! Let me know what you guys think!

I think you just need to make smaller stars to account for the magnification. I haven’t a clue as to what a dragon ball is but these are very nice.
They are a set of wishing balls from the dragon ball series each with a certain number of stars ranging from 1 to 7

I love dragonball z. I watched it with my brother who is 13 years younger then me . He still watches dragonball. First thing he said , I love these can you make me 7 of dese and a dragon. I now regret that I showed it to him. I don't even got sphere molds.

This is the first video I've seen of yours. Ya'll are super cute together. I really liked the video. I didn't know you could get such clear resin without sanding it. Sanding is a lot of work. I use uv resin to make jewelry and one necklace can take a long time to sand because there are a lot of grits. I can't imagine sanding something as big as those balls (lol balls, sorry I'm immature). I'm extremely new to resin, but it's become a passion of mine. Your vids are really helpful and entertaining!

It’s actually not that hard, and I think you’ll find it easier to get the finish you want with less ingenuity required. All though, I think your are ingenious. ;) I love how you work around the challenges and don’t let them stop you! TFS!!

Wow. That took patience! I wonder if putting the spheres inside of bigger spheres would help with the "fish eye" thing. Do you use a mold release either when casting or to help keep your molds longer in storage? If so, which one, please? I've been racking my brain over this one for about 6 months (or more). How do you clean out your measuring cup that you mix the resin in? My fiancé suggested I get those for my next project attempt but I would have no clue how to wash or clean them out if there’s any resin left behind in them even after pouring it all out?

I want to make some for my boyfriend. I started but never finished. It'll be good to see how you do it. Have you tried wet sanding? It may help with scuffing.

I do have a question, so I bought the casting resin (purple and pink) you use from counter culture diy, but for some reason after curing it’s still kind of sticky. Is there something I’m doing wrong? So far I’ve only used it for coasters.

I am new to working with Resin and I am wondering how you keep the 2 peace’s for a dome shape together before you pour the Resin into it? Can you plz help me with that? Tky and have a blessed day!
I'm also new to resin so I don't know if this will be helpful. I use a lot of hot glue lol. That's what I see a lot of youtubers use to make and hold molds together.
Did you say the smaller spheres’ stand was a mold too? Where did you get that?
Oh yeah! I got it from instagram.com/resinqueenshop? this mold artist!
Why didn't you use the top spot to glue that part to the bottle instead of fixing that first and then fixing the bottom?
Had you placed the stars face down, you wouldn’t have had to do anything else after de-molding the spheres from the 2-piece molds.
How much epoxy do you think you mixed for each layer of the big sphere?? I just did one and screwed it up royally 😭😭😭

I don't no.... but it was nice that you had your hubby there, always great to see him!!! : o } Have your ever thought about casting your hubbies foot, of course making the mould first then poring the resin in the mould and hoping it turns out.... remember October is just around the corner and props would be pretty cool to decorate the place and I'm sure it would give idea's for others. = o )
