Many things to comment on. But man I love that blue 💙!!

Man that’s a super cool Torino Bill. I love the grabber blue in it! Doing this type of work alone can definitely be frustrating when it was designed to be done with two people at the factory. I guess the engineers decided it was cheaper to have one employee on each side of the firewall installing the same part than just having a welded stud with threads on both sides.

Thanks! People either love or hate the Grabber Blue. It's one of my favorite colors. I can't wait to get it backbon the road. Hopefully this fall. It would have been nice with the extra help, but I stumbled through. I appreciate you watching.

I'd HIGHLY recommend investing in a pushrod measuring tool. If that rod is just a fraction of an inch to long, your brakes will eventually lock up on you. Ask me how I know?🙄 Enjoying the channel and looking forward to the final results.💯👍🏿

Looking at it I wouldn’t think that original tank would hold fuel 😄 I think the new tank is a great upgrade. So the brake upgrade is made in China. But the tech support is in Minnesota? 🧐 And I absolutely agree with you when you’re buying a kit it definitely needs to come with some kind of instructions! Too much cheap crap on the market. Thank you! The car is looking great! Very interested in seeing what you do with the sunbird ✌✌✌🏻

The components are made in China. I believe the local company is a distribution and support center. They sell tons of other things as well. It totally shocked me as well. The Scumbird just needs to come back in and get it more road worthy

That prop valve looks like a GM one. The rear port goes to the rear brakes, not a brake light switch. The two top ports on either side of the warning light sensor go to the master and the front two go to the front brakes... Ok, guess I should have watched to the end before I commented!

Its the same setup as on my 71 for the past 4-5 years the kit fits pretty well for a aftermarket part the master is a larger truck/Lincoln style replacement unit. Its very similar to the stock bracketry just with better adjustability

It's also easier to put the studs back into the pedal assembly then install the pedal

Well that was a struggle. I still got something similar to do on my 64 Comet but this year am staying with the drums as I want to get the car on the road and, where I am, converting to discs means type approval (that's the EU for you) which can be a bit of a pain. Only went for manual brakes because on the Comet there's hardly any space for a servo and I don't want to cut the suspension tower support or use a "weird" servo from something like a Suzuki (type approval, yadda yadda). I have the right master cylinder and I understood from people who did this it's not that bad and, TBH, I prefer it like that - it means one less item to go wrong (I also kept the Z-bar when I converted to 5sp box, and with the clutch I have it really isn't that heavy to operate). If it does, well, we have such things as remote servos which were fitted to more than one British and German car and are available... Bear in mind when/if you do the same on your car.

I actually did a disc brake conversion on my 64 comet. I kept the drum spindles and used a kit. I can't remember who made it, but it utilized Toyota brake parts. You can see the video on my channel. Thanks for watching
