This is a very good movie for kids.
It taught me if I mess with the wild life the wild life will kick the shit out of me, and that if I grope a woman, I should and probably will get hit. Also, don't take money from the mob.

when my brother was little, this was his favorite movie. as a result ive seen this movie probably dozens of times
this + without a paddle, a short list of movies there's no way my child-self should have been watching lmao - if you ever want to react to without a paddle too, that would just make my whole day lol

Btw u guys should see the untold episode of the americas cup where australia won. They actually made a flag with a boxing kangaroo and played down under as their fight song. They did this to try amd hype up australians. At this time america has been defending the cup for over 180 years

This movie taught me that if someone is having a real medical emergency, and they grab my body while not being in control, the best reaction I I could do is punch the suffering person right in the nose as hard as I can, instead of pushing them away.
The sequel is an absolute must because of the way it ties into the events of this first one!
Hitting an animal etiquette in Oz - make sure the animal is dead, check for joeys, pull the carcass well off the road so other animals who come to feed on the dead animal don't cause more accidents.
At least there’s an animated sequel with more kangaroos.
The further north you go in Oz, the more accurate this dialogue becomes.

M rating was the same as pg back in those days

I don't know, I liked this movie when I was a kid, and as an adult.
If you want a good Kangaroo movie that delivers I would recommend "Warriors of Virtue".
The trailer alone was enough to convince me to stay the hell away from this!
I lvoe how they get off the plane in our biggest city and then suddenly are 3 days drive away in the northern territory

They dodge a lot quicker then any human ever could. Kangaroo top speed is 70km/hour or 44 mph. sustain 40k/hr or 25mph for 2 kilometers. They leap 9 meters in a single bound. and can get up to 2 meters tall.
A sense of humor is a terrible thing to lack.
