My personal thoughts and beliefs: Moral guidelines (like being in a committed relationship with one person) are created not to put us in boxes but to give us a full and abundant life. However one wants to twists and explain a different set of rules ultimately ends up hurting. 🤍

I watched all these videos and got to liking all three of these folks and then I discovered it ended in a divorce and I am so sad for all of them - it had to hurt. I hope the kids are ok.
Hey Wasc! Happy to report that our family is happier than ever! Rob is re-married, we are all still best friends, and our two kids just welcomed a baby brother last year. Everything is better, not worse, because of the separation! :)

So are rob and lauren not married? Are elyse and lauren married? Do they all live together? Whats the dynamic?
Hi Mackenzy! It can get a bit confusing, can't it? Rob and Lauren were married, and spent some time as a polyamorous couple. But upon realizing she's gay, they have separated and are in the process of a divorce. Elyse and Lauren are engaged and currently living together. Rob lives separately. And we are all still wonderful friends! Hope this clears things up!

Poly = Swapping out a partner for a different one. Never do it.
