I appreciate you sharing the hack for the handles of the first one. It'll work for hanging pictures on my wall. Also I really like the way you're giving instruction. Don't worry about the complainers, they'd complain if you went too fast. God Bless all who come across this video and those who don't.
Oh my goodness, you really put a grin on my face. Isn't it something, how we have become a world of complaining. If it's hot, we complain, if it's cold, if it's sunny, if it's cloudy, if it's too sweet or sour. 🤦♀️ I say, if we don't like something, scroll on 😉 God bless you Mary 🤗
@@mariamercy7317 awe, God bless you too Maria. Most mornings I ask God to let me be a blessing to others so that God will be glorified. You made my day with your reply so thank you very much 🤗
Great tip with the hose but as the tray and the planter is plastic you should use washers for the screws and bolts. The handles will have pressure on them and the screws could loosen or come out. Also with a washer it means you can tighten them without fear of the screw heads breaking through the plastic as you screw them in.
I spray a mix of water with a squirt of dish soap inside my propane tank lid and in a garden shed roof to keep the wasps from trying to build nests. It leaves a soapy coating they don't like.
@@oldauntzibby4395 Thank you. Makes sense. In the last 2 yrs, in spite of my best efforts, hornets have found a way to get inside of my garden shed so I'll give that a try.
3:42 - when mating metal to PVC I always ensure that the female coupling is metal (galvanized steel) and the male is PVC as pipe thread is tapered and can easily split the PVC, but not the other way 'round.
Step 1 is potentially problematic depending on screw separation and curvature of base - distance between holes via tape is a straight line. Base is curved
Guys, I don't like the first hack that much. I think it will become cumbersome to have to remove that planter waiter tray every time I need the hose. This will be especially annoying for avid gardeners.
@@Cynsome1 Yes, you've got a good point there. Perhaps if it's not the main hose that you use often, it's a very good idea. But for me, the avid gardener, I am better off with the hose tidied up on something that unravels easily.
Garden hose In a bucket , underneath a tray of plants. On top of the bucket , to hide the hose in the bucket , that has the hose in it , underneath the tray of succulent plants so it’s hidden underneath the tray of succulent plants . So that you wouldn’t know that there is a hose in there . Underneath the tray of succulents on top of the bucket of hose , that you don’t know is there like that , unless you remove the lid that is a tray of succulent plants , when you need to have a hose to water stuff with a hose that is hidden underneath succulent plants , in a tray , that is a lid to a bucket of hose .
I don't think I've ever heard the word succulent being used in a video as much as this I don't know if I should feel concerned or start my own succulent garden
So on the 2nd project,I am such a literal person, sorry, but was the hose from faucet guided up to thru inside of the new white hose guard/pillar? If any one can tell me, please. Thx.
Shrinking retractable hose is better not as durable but I’ve been using one for a few years now…don’t use with a pressure washer tho it’s not durable enough
The 1st one: I can see me trying to pick up the lid and setting it aside, only to accidentally dump it all over. Nope, too easy to mess up and possibly kill those poor succulents.
Or for 5 bucks just buy a hose hanger 2 screws 2 rawplugs and wont have do all that drilling, cutting timber, putting on handles and moving plants everytime you want to use the hose. Or even easier buy a hose reel.Or if dont want to spend any money, Unclip your hose and hang it in the shed out of the sun untill you need it.. Or
Shucks I thought you would teach us a quick and easy way to coil the hose so small. This would only work for a short, lightweight hose for a patio I suppose
@@mariamercy7317 i understand 100%.. i would rather do ANYTHING for myself before paying someone $50 dollars a hour to hide something for me..i love the satisfaction of doing it myself

@Mary Folks you're welcome sis! In all, to God be the glory! And thanks for your reply 😉
Have a wonderful blessed weekend 🤗
I love this guys voice! He always has great ideas and his voice is super chill and relaxing. He needs his own ASMR channel 😊
I like the cutting board idea.
I love the watering can conveniently stored next to the water.

Awesome! I like the garden hose planter. It's different and unique. 😉
Our beloved Bob Ross is back! 😍
Oh wow that is so smart!!So happy I found your channel! 👍👍👍 Liz
I welded a rim on a metal pole , set it up painted , it's a perfect hose keeper but yours is so much prettier.
Clever hacks! Thanks so much❣
Very nice hose container. I only wish I knew of a way to deter hornets from building nests in containers outside.
I have read that Peppermint and Lemongrass does the job. You can get those through Amazon or any other... Have a happy day!
@@mariamercy7317 Thank you very much! I'll look into that.

Love all 3 ideas, so practical! Thank you🙏
Nice hack, thanks!
Ingenious!! Thank you for posting.

..and by the tone used by the 1st guy, does he really think he's instructing a room of feeble-minded folk?..gads
I was thinking that this project is a poor design. Succulents don't need much water. He just made more work for himself
I wasn’t too impressed with it either. It did get rid of the unsightly mess of a hose though.

I agree
I love it ! So cute . It will look great next to my patio .
Thanks for the great ideas 😊
Looks great!
Great ideas
Love it!!!
if you pre drill you split less
Fiy, drill holes before you screw becuse you can split the wood like you just did.
Thick plastic washer on the inside of the handle bolts would help prevent clay cracking
Dude, your my new Martha Stewart.
Is that 2% or whole milk paint?

Mostly dumb ! I thought from the photo that they had a hack for keeping the hose from kinking ! Now that would be helpful.
Looks like it would be a pain to get the hose back in the planter each time you used it plus the plastic planter will tip so easy...
The 1st one: I can see me trying to pick up the lid and setting it aside, only to accidentally dump it all over. Nope, too easy to mess up and possibly kill those poor succulents.
I don’t know if I should go ahead.

The first 2 hacks are new, the other one is old and unpractical, it’s more like creating more clutter for the countertops.
nice enough, doesn't solve the perpetual issue of twisted and kinking hose winding
If u pre drill, you won't split the wood ;)
So... add more clutter to the kitchen rather than find a way to minimize the clutter by finding a better way to organize it? Nope
WHY would you waste time and money HIDING your kettle
One tuck on the hose then the whole thing topples over.
8 and a half minutes just like that....gone
i would not do any of these "hacks".. buying materials, painting, sanding to hide my phone charger? unplug it and put it in a drawer🤷🏻♂️
I see your point, but there's great satisfaction when we DIY. Enjoy your day wherever you are! 😊

Yeah, but you should see my drawer.
Couldn't you just drill through the tape?
