Normally I’ve been listening on Spotify, but after last week I had to see how accurate “worried” is. 110% accurate.

-Nate, when you finally meet Seinfeld and appear on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, will you please order an iced milk?
-Aaron, at the beginning of quarantine I saw your video about finally getting to watch all your DVDs. Having a large collection myself, I related to that greatly. I came across that video again recently and finally put two and two together that it's the guy from the Nateland Podcast that's in that video! I love it! Have you made more of those videos during quarantine to sustain your popularity?
Barnabas- I caught part of one of your shows on your TH-cam channel. Are you generally a Christian comic? Or just do you categorize yourself as a comic, that's clean, who sometimes mentions religion?

I just listened to all ten episodes in 3 days and let me tell ya, I’m a new man. Nate refers to an individual from the general public as a “regular person”. I’ve adopted that phrase into my daily dialogue. Also, what happened to Worf? I really love the podcast, my wife and I listen to it separately at our jobs and it has created several laughs at the dinner table the past couple of nights. Thanks guys. It’s uhhh unbelievable.

I think it's really cool that when Laura asked you how long you would do stand-up if you didn't make it, you said forever. That's some legit grit. I'm glad you said previously that she deserves everything you have, because that's some legit loyalty to support a dream that might not manifest. She's a boss.

I'm just starting to watch these videos and omg I just realized how much Nate loves ABSOLUTELY LOVES to hear himself talk. Sometimes the podcast is more of a one man show and drags. I feel bad the other guys having to sit there listening to Nate drone on and on and on

This episode reminded me of when my wife and I got to meet Nate and Brandon after their show at The Pageant in St. Louis last year. We were on our way off the stage after shaking hands with Nate and just before we hit the exit we caught a figure out of the corner of our eye and there's good ol' Worried unexpectedly lurking in the shadows. He caught us by surprise so we didn't give him the greeting or respect that he deserved, which we felt bad about afterwards, but seeing the road this podcast is going down makes me appreciate that experience and situation so much more.
sure, aaron might look like an aggressive semi truck driver at first glance. but we all know when he smiles and gives us that cute giggly laugh, it makes our hearts melt.

I would love for you to talk about your album "Yelled At By A Clown" and how it came to be giving it’s your first album. I think it is hilarious and I have listened to it so many times, it’s crazy! The opening joke of quitting comedy is one of the best opening bits ever.

Howdy - We are all big fans here at the station and this was the episode we had been hoping for. They’ve all been good but to hear the details of not just how you got here but WHY was endlessly fascinating. None of us are interested in being a stand up comedian but the science and psychology of it all will never be boring to us.
On a side note, we’ve been fans for many years but finally felt like we got some vindication when we heard Anthony Jeselnik mention you and Ryan Hamilton as examples of comedians that know exactly what they are doing.
Finally, we share your enthusiasm for noticing the evolution of a joke. All your late night appearances, albums, spots and specials all culminated brilliantly in The Tennessee Kid. We have a lot more to say about just how good that special was but there is one line that I’m dying to know the origin of - My favorite moment in that entire special is how you were admitting that you learned that horses lay down to sleep. Then, while defending how it is understandable that not everybody would know that, you say “I’d-a probably argued with you about it.”
It’s delivered as such a throwaway line but it has such punch. Maybe it was a genuine toss off but I’m curious about that line in particular.
In any case, we’re all big fans and we look forward to having you back out on the road so we can support you and have a good time.

Legend has it, Nate and Aaron have a hat for each day of the year.
At the beginning of every episode Nate says they are still trying to figure out the podcast. I'm not sure what there is to figure out. This is already one of my favorite podcasts. It feels like you are sitting in the room having a conversation with these three guys. Keep doing what you're doing!
I was driving in my car and decided to pull the podcast up on TH-cam instead of just listening so I could not only listen to you guys but also catch glimpses while I drive and then had a real good chuckle since Aaron gets it. DONT WORRY BRENT I WAS DRIVING SAFE.

Nate you are a true master of the art of erasing distance...between you and your listeners. I watch Nateland and forget I'm watching on my laptop. I think I'm right there in a chair at the foot of the table opposite 'worried' So likeable and easy going...hilarious.
I am having flashbacks of 10 year old me trying to read Harry Potter with my mom. Every 3 words Nate reads, Byron chimes in with how to actually pronounce the words.
I just hit the point where Bryson corrected Nate on Mandalorian and this comment cracked me up!
Is Aaron Weber a secret genius? Remember folks, this is a man who said, "Give me a billion dollars and I could probably figure cancer out." The dude can hang with anyone and possesses a myriad of impressive skills (including those of the percussion related variety).
Love the show and all three of you guys. This is the closest most of us will ever come to sitting at "the table." We all want to see your comedy careers continue to grow because you are protagonists worth rooting for.
My wife on the other hand, is not impressed. I showed her parts of the marriage episode and after Nate's mosh pit joke she asked, "What are you trying to tell me?" I showed her the cancer clip and she said, "What is wrong with his hands?"
I guess I'll just have to be a loyal subject in Nateland every Wednesday on my own.

Listening to Nate tell his stories reminds me of the episode of the office where Michael quits and everybody wants to hear the story but he is bouncing all over the place and giving every.....excruciating.....detail! But seriously love this podcast, you guys are awesome!
These first 10 episodes have been amazing. I like how Brickles and Aaron are finding their niche roles in this production. Aaron the reluctant genius and Brisket is the self deprecating set up man. Brigade even smiled and laughed out loud a few times on this one!

Guys. I’m blown away that you talked through TV shows and now comedy and you’re not mentioning the Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Lenny Bruce, Jewish comics, New York, the Catskills... ALL ON THE SHOW about stand up comedy. I named my dog after her. The show at least deserves a shoutout.
Brandt and Arthur are way off on Threat Level Midnight being the worst episode of the Office! When Toby gets shot and his head explodes and it cuts to Michael and he says “By far and away the most expensive shot in the movie. But it was integral to the story.” has me in tears every time! Loved listening to your come up story this episode Nate! Another outstanding episode by all! Can’t wait to see Nate on the 25th!
Yes I agree the Toby part was very funny but after my 20th time I see it as a ok episode.

Nate saying “I’m not a big Superhero (movie) guy, but I like them and I go to all of them,” is the Nateland equivalent of Michael Scott saying, “Do I need to be liked? Absolutely not. I like to be liked. I enjoy being liked. I have to be liked. But it’s not like this compulsive need to be liked.”
I'm a nursing home administrator, and these are heavy, heavy times. (Nate has performed twice for my company's annual retreat. Killer!) The Nateland Podcast provides such a beautiful moment to pause and have a good, solid laugh. I appreciate you three and the production team!

On a serious note you should prop the “Nateland Podcast” sign on the table up towards the camera more so it’s easier to read. You guys are the best and can’t wait for next weeks episode already!
Listening to Brisket’s worried chuckles over two and a half minutes of a barely audible video... that’s the good stuff!
"Threat level midnight" was a good episode. It made me want to watch a feature length movie of it.
I love the show. Been watching since day 1. This is one of my favorite episodes. I think that comedy is getting more mainstream and comics are more accessible due to podcasts like this and many others. Also, TH-cam and Netflix specials have led me to comics that I would otherwise not know about. In the 90s, if you didn’t have access to comedy clubs or things like that, you were basically finding comedians on Comedy Central, HBO or Showtime specials. But now with the internet, options are endless.
Funny side note: I suggested to my friend who doesn’t watch the podcast, that he watch it because it’s really good. He responded “that guy used to pitch for the Phillies minor league team.” I assured him he was wrong. He is a know-it-all type of guy and he swore he knew some factoid that I didn’t bc he saw a clip of Nates no-hitter story. “Shannon, he pitched a no-hitter.” I told him maybe Warf did it. Then I made him watch your “Sports” episode and he still didn’t get that in 1990 Nate would have been in little league. He’s like “see I told you.” I want to thank Nateland for helping me weed out the morons in my friend groups 😊

I love listening to comedy shows on repeat, like music, running in the background. In fact, Nate’s Tennessee Kid Show, I listen to regularly when I can’t sleep. I always laugh about him being mistaken for Olivia. It’s gold.
The audio on iTunes was so low when y’all played the sketch, I had to rely on Aaron and Gary’s laughs to know if it was entertaining. They have great laughs so I was smiling the whole time anyway. Very on par. Love the podcast guys.
When my son was 5 we went to a county fair, and he went into a fun house. If was one where we could watch him try to make his way thru a house of mirrors. He banged his head off the same area 5 times in a row. I was crying I was laughing so hard... in retrospect, perhaps I should have been concerned about a possible concussion. Good thing he is fine 11 years later. Thanks for the laughs, Wednesday is my favorite day of the week. Seinfeld episode would be unbelievable!
nate, you mentioned louis ck giving you feedback on your structure, how do you balance feedback with maintaining your own voice/the spirit of your act?
Unbelievable episode. Coming from Edinburgh in Scotland where we have an annual festival with loads of comedy shows. Small shows in 20 people rooms are almost as funny as huge shows from stars like Nate or Netflix specials. All 3 of you, even Barry should come next year.

I'm a fan of Nate's comedy and came across this podcast awhile ago. Wasn't blown away and drifted off. This episode pops up in my feed and I thought, "oh wow, this is still going on". The FIRST thing out of Nathaniel's mouth is "Yup, this is still going on".😳...i HAVE TO WATCH EVERY EPISODE NOW. He's in my f'n mind!

what I love about listening to a podcast is when an extended portion of it is spent listening to what seems like a tv is playing in a room down the hall and you can faintly hear people giggling over it from time to time
I always listen to the show while I work so sometimes I feel like I'm missing a bit, but it's still unbelievably funny. Like when Rin Tin Tin tells an anecdote from his youth. Or when Nate calmly expresses his feelings on an arbitrary subject. 5/5 would recommend
5 Parter:
1. This was the best episode yet! It is clear that Nate has a genuine love for stand-up and it was great to hear these stories.
2. Nate, I saw you in San Antonio this year and you murdered. I was afraid people might be looking at me because I could not believe how uncontrollably hard I was laughing. I would love to know if that was a memorable night or just another stop on tour. Hamchop opened and...I think he must have been trying out some new stuff...i don’t get to go to many shows in person and I was not sure if there would be an opener (to answer that question).
3. My wife told me the baby needed a new diaper. I asked her what her sources were and it didn’t go over well.
4. After the Weber grill/Chris Webber “joke” from Aaron I am no longer proud to tell people that I went to Notre Dame.
5. The DVD commentary by Seinfeld and Colin Quinn is as good as, if not better than, the documentary, Comedian. I love that movie.
Keep up the good work, fellas. This is a much needed reprieve from the toxic chaos in our world right now.
Hey Guys. Been w/ you since episode 1. Got started as I imagine most of us did because of Nate. Love your comedy Dude. Yet I often find myself wishing the other guys had a bigger voice. Step up Aaron, we need more from you!
Can't believe you mentioned my comment on your podcast. I've finally made it. Screw Braden and Aaron for not agreeing with me. I also have a good walking into glass story. Was going to a club and seen a sign on a door and for whatever reason thought it was just half a door so I tried to walk under it and rammed my head really hard and fell over. All my friends couldn't stop laughing so I just called a cab.
Boomer has a really calm and relaxing voice. I like listening to his commentary.... sorry, I meant Breakfast, not Boomer :::facepalm:::
I'm pretty sure the Dallas episode where JR got shot was a season finale. So the big cliffhanger that year was "Who shot JR."
Fun story: My dad went to Africa to visit a missionary friend of his in 1988. En route he has a long layover in London. So my dad walked through the city until he found a fire station. (My dad is a retired Dallas fireman. So in 1988 he was 12 years into his career.)
The fire station wasn't as welcoming as he hoped because the top fire chief for the entire city of London was dropping by to watch them run some drills. They did let my dad watch them perform their drills from a third story window in the fire station. After they performed their drilled and squirted some water, the fire chief is talking with the Captain of the fire station. After a few minutes the chief points up to my dad and asks who that man up there is. The Captain explains it's an American that's a fire fighter from Dallas. The Chief motions to my dad to come down and speak with him.
After a brief conversation the Chief pulls my dad off alone and explains that the BBC is just airing the TV show Dallas and they're years behind America in airing it. And he asks my dad, "Who shot JR?! 🤣🤣🤣
You guys said comedy has become more mainstream. Totally. I’m not a music person. I love listening to different standup or comedians podcasts. I feel Netflix specials and what they’re doing with their TH-cam account is helping push names forward. I knew the big names but the compilation videos on TH-cam is how I discovered Leanne Morgan (! Love her!) and recently Mo Amer.
Btw one of my favorite parts of the nateland podcast is Aaron’s giggling both audibly and inaudibly. That by itself makes me laugh.
I wish you didn't wear hats. Not a threat to you. I am a 71 year old mother, grandmother and great grand mother that has watched Hello World 25 times. Love your humor and I think your too good-looking to hide under a hat. I love the Pod Cast and have watched and rewatched many so far. Trying to catch up. Thanks Nate, Aaron and Brian.

My favorite part is when Carlyle is reading directly from a Wikipedia entry and Nate and Aaron are basically sleeping..
They brought up saying unbelievable and that ended up being like the title of the show. Nate said it so much that you could split up the time stamps by which UNBELIEVABLE thing he was talking about.
I’m unhappy with the amount of donuts in this episode: zero
I think Bob Newhart changed comedy at the time. What I also appreciate is he was almost expecting the audience to be intelligent. He was fond of doing a one-way conversation and trusting the audience to get what the other person was saying. It was brilliant. He also took a lot of comedy from history - Sir Walter Raleigh, Lincoln, Khrushchev. But not being too political. Not sure comedians would even try that today, expecting that from their audience. Btw other comedians I watch (TH-cam mostly) and like now are Dennis and Brian Regan, Zoltan Kaszas, Gaffigan, Kellen Erksine, Dustin Nickerson and Bates and Weber. Can’t appreciate a comedian that just swears to get a laugh and it is noticeable as the words do not even make a difference. But Nate is my favorite! Watch his stuff multiple times and always laugh!
I met Aaron at his merch table when he opened for John Crist in Saginaw MI where I bought one of his shirts. That was cool!
I absolutely am one of those people who listens to your standup to sleep. I started with John Mulaney's standup a few years ago ( in fact for the end of the year Spotify rewind/wrap-up or whatever, Mulaney was my most played artist with 158 hours ) - but once I found your comedy I find myself listening to you a bit more often to sleep because your southern drawl is more calming than Mulaney's carnival barker voice.
Listening to standup that I have already heard is pretty great for sleeping because it's light-hearted, I don't have to pay attention if I'm falling asleep because I've heard it before so I won't miss anything, and if I'm having trouble sleeping it is still entertaining and takes my mind off of other more stressful things. I tend to rotate between Nate, John Mulaney, Mike Birbiglia, and Mulaney/Kroll's "Oh Hello, the P'dcast"
Folks here in Tulsa will certainly appreciate your show next year. Wish I could afford to see your show live but at least I have an occasional podcast to laugh at. Best of luck.
My wife and I are big fans and saw you in your last show in Cincinnati, which turns out may be the last live show we ever see.
Your “Dead” horse joke made my wife laugh harder than I have ever seen. I’m talking tears, hyperventilating, and laughter that lasted well beyond the end of the joke. Me? Not so much, but solid joke.
We’re wondering if you could elaborate about the process of writing that joke. Like how did you incorporate “divorce” with “horse,” and how soon did you realize that experience could be a joke?

Nates special the first stand up I ever watched. I sent the link to all my friends and family and then bought tickets to see him! Since then I’ve watched Bill Burr and Bert Kreischer but that’s about it! I had no idea stand up was such a complex industry.

I just finished Letterkenny a couple weeks ago. "To be fair" I think it's growing in popularity.
Fantastic podcast guys! My girlfriend and I were big Nate Bargatze fans before the podcast. I love all types of comedy but Nate is a guy you can share with anyone or play his specials at family gatherings and everyone really loves it.
She commented that she like Nate a *little* less after listening though. She loves the humble, aw shucks Nate in the standup performances and I think she likes the rubber band and two gym shorts wearing guy breaking his friends' balls Nate she hears on the podcast not quite as much.
We are still big Nate fans and also enjoy Brian and Aaron.

I did listen a bunch of times to nate's comedy to fall asleep. I think the pace is adequate (especially cause i'm french and other stand up styles are way too stimulating to try to sleep). I'm gonna try tonight with Bradley's album. Love the show keep it up guys.
