Deez bands are great I run them on a bunch of my rigs. I stick to the traditional mounting through the shock mounts as Dustin has tuned them to the length of the shock. These work best with a heavy axle and light chassis. The axles control where the suspension goes the bands hold the chassis low to the heavy axle. Awesome video man 👍
I spend a lot of money on RCs and upgrades. Not taking anything away from any company, but for the cost of these bands, I can buy a bag of small rubber bands which allow me to tune the front end.....about 20 times over. Love the review though!
I agree. As a builder i just feel like these are just a bandaid for tuning the truck. Negative G uses rubber bands to tune there trucks, I’m just meh about all of this. Do they work? Well yeah. But i just can’t fall into this rabbit hole.
I like the bands but i think it needs to somehow be 1 band that works both sides so you can flex left to right freely but limit the up and down of the whole axle. I run 1 cordage of my own that mounts at the shock goes over my frame so it's free moving for the left and right to the other shock mount on the axle i get and it seems to be the perfect inbetween
Have you thought about trying to tune by taking the brass tubes out of the rear axle instead of adding more to the front? Overall making the truck lighter.
Those bands sure do the trick. I run them on a few rigs and they are absolutely worth it. I have tried rubber bands and they don't work as well or have as many mounting options. Plus you can get them in many color combinations to match your rigs.
Yes nice finally banded!!! To me it’s the most important thing to do to sidehill and tackle steeps with confidence what you loose in flex rarely hurts performance….espcially on lcg builds. I will say with my sporty build of shocks are layers down more it’s not as important…but banded front and free rear on 1/10. All banded on 124 for me….i don’t know shit compared to you!! So much great content

Not to mention they appear to be elastic hairband fabric...
I don't see the appeal
You can buy the material at the craft store in different colors to make your own bands and winch lines
Let’s not forget when the elastic wears out and there useless
@@rrzrrich that's really my main concern. While I wish Deez all the best, I can easily make do with cheap, replaceable rubber bands.
I have yet to build a LCG truck but after seeing all the ones out there I think it’s time. That’s pretty damn impressive. 👍👍😁😎✌️
Set up is awesome and an matches like its supposed to be there
HUGE props for sending the sway bar kit to rc sparks(Aaron)

You can tell he's happy by the hair ☺
I have those same vanquish wheels and I couldn't for the life of me get those the stock tires grab the bead. did yours grab the bead pretty easily?
what length did you get
Worked out on my lcg mullet to Velcro battery to axle mounted servo and the battery limits the chassis on rising. Boom!

not really, I'd rather have the added stiffness plus thats not much weight as compared to the rest of the truck
What brushed motor are you running

I was watching for the affect on dropout. Thanks for showing that :)

Are those the stock tires
This is why I like the desert lizard shocks. Don't need any bands and you can tune them to your liking!
Just bought a set for my Capra!
Absolutely true, but these work on everything else.
It’s easier to tune a suspension with these bands and external springs…..desert lizards ya have to take them all apart.
I'm seriously gonna send you a hair brush🤣gd
I'm with ya, I don't like my steak rare either haha. Medium well seems to be a good balance between burnt and not cooked enough.
Always love your life tips at end of your vids. Cook it!
Imo I think I’d install a winch in the front to pull the front end down when need be ….then release it back to normal when full suspension is needed…
You can also jimmy rig some hair ties for the same affect.
Yea what length are you running?
90mm
@@ExocagedRCshit I ordered the 80 mm ones for my stance , that might be a little tight ??
Looking good bro
Awesome bro
