    can you demo the intel denoiser in addition where it post processes a rendered image that is not a modeled scene but a render that was already completed and saved to openexr
    I believe most users would benefit from an additional workflow step that post processes rendered sequences as well. denoise also from renders performed in other applications and those images brought into Blender to make use of a single or sequence of stills to batch post process and same out.

      Happens with all software tools to some degree as they go through different versions. At least with Blender you can always use the older version if you prefer but it’s good to get used to changes - I understand that can be frustrating though.
      Glad you enjoyed the tutorial anyway!

      Yes, it's an open source library created by Intel - it's not limited to Intel processors

    hi .i need help .if the denoiser is post process how can i denoise a move clip that is a background? can blender be used as a denoiser for video clips?or do i need to denoise the clip befor import?

    • @SurfacedStudio
      @SurfacedStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The denoiser will denoise the entire image - including any foreground and background elements. It couldn't really tell the difference between them anyway beyond what the AI process might pick up :)

    how do i get the render to stop at 1 frame like in the video? I want to be able to do that so i can add the denoiser node in the compositor. My compositor is coming up blank right now..

    • @SurfacedStudio
      @SurfacedStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Render out a single frame only :) Also make sure you enable the 'Use Nodes' option in the Compositor if you haven't already. I do cover some of the basics in my beginner series for Blender here if you're new to it: th-cam.com/play/PLs2aOcA-EaLNX5j2yxVQhEBpFgD3zDR9P.html

    • @SurfacedStudio
      @SurfacedStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! You don't need to install anything, just use the Denoise node in the Compositor - that's using the Intel Open Image Denoiser internally!
