As someone who was stuck here overnight trying to get home to Canada, I found the airport to be clean, comfortable (as comfy as an airport can be), and felt safe, which I believe is the most important when you’re stuck overnight.
You’re joking right? 15 mins of extra walking to get to your gate? 1 crowded security checkpoint that’s never more than half open. Give me the old airport any day. Not to mention huge fees on taxis (which is the only way to get there), and they charge airline 3x higher landing fee vs JFK

@@42luke93 yes, the bus does that but is annoying it will be better to have one transportation that takes you there instead of two. True about the JFK monorail and the maze they created with the construction 😤😠😡

2:13 Busses can work for LGA. Prague just inaugurated an extended-length electric trolley bus that runs under a catenary wire. It runs at subway frequencies, and takes 10 minutes. The LaGuardia Link is already really good. It’s free, takes 15 minutes, runs every 10 minutes or less, has space for luggage, and serves five subway lines and the LIRR. The traffic on the highway segment the bus runs on is pretty good too. If the MTA just built a designated bus ROW for the route (which they’re planning on building), built new elevators and escalators for pax with luggage at Woodside and Jackson Heights, and electrified and lengthened the buses, it would be a really strong transit service for LGA. Just because it’s a bus doesn’t automatically mean it’s a bad service.
When did Prague debut this? I was just there back in September of last year and had to catch the bus to the nearest subway station that got stuck in so much traffic. Plus, space on the bus was pretty limited.

Any airport that LACKS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (and just has a bus) isn’t an airport that I even consider at all. Basically without air trains and public rail transport the airport is just meh
Clearly that's a flawed survey. Sky high food prices, chaos on the airport roadways leading to the terminals and once you make it to your flight, your plane is number 25 in the takeoff line. That does not qualify as the best airport.
I have no issues with the buses but everyone knows if you extend the N to LaGuardia the renovations would be a grand slam. Hell you could even go further with that and extend the N past LaGuardia into the Bronx.
LaGuardia is better, but parking at Terminal C is now a disaster. The garage is too small and much of the time, even if you make a reservation especially during the holidays you are diverted to Terminal A and the long term lot to try to find parking. When you ask for a refund they will give it to you once you show proof, but parking at LaGuardia is worse than ever. Now they are working to redo JFK which is a mess this summer. Just don't fly out of Terminal 1 if you can help it as it is disconnected from the Airtrain while they build a brand new Terminal A to replace the 1980s terminal.
