Most of isayama's story is based on mythology where the romans (or non-romans if your that kind of person) fortold stories about titans, nobles, war, nations, and added abit of post-medieval history to it. So its safe to say this anime derivatives from our real world history to this anime format. Also most anime or any storytelling has a source copy from our real world history. Its not like everything is created from thin air it has to have a origin taken from somewhere, like history books and other Historical scenes that happened long before time.
When you're old enough, you'll realize (or may have already realized) that this world is not really different from that. I've said this in one of the comments above but WW2 is just as fucked up as AOT world. It's always people and their misunderstandings. Living is such a tragedy.
Truth is stranger than fiction. If you actually spent time studying world history you would find many real world examples far more interesting & complex than this (not that AoT's history is boring by any means).

Love the video but a couple of things I disliked is how quickly the description of each character disappeared and the animation used to make it happen. I kept trying to pause the video just at the right time when the whole description was in place but it disappeared quickly. Not only that, the animation deleting description started from left to right make it even harder to stop the video at the right moment since part of the beginning of the description would get deleted first. Most of isayama's story is based on mythology where the romans (or non-romans if your that kind of person) fortold stories about titans, nobles, war, nations, and added abit of post-medieval history to it. So its safe to say this anime derivatives from our real world history to this anime format.
Also most anime or any storytelling has a source copy from our real world history. Its not like everything is created from thin air it has to have a origin taken from somewhere, like history books and other Historical scenes that happened long before time.
When you're old enough, you'll realize (or may have already realized) that this world is not really different from that. I've said this in one of the comments above but WW2 is just as fucked up as AOT world. It's always people and their misunderstandings. Living is such a tragedy.

Ending was mid and he didn’t plan it out in advance. He has said he took inspiration from season 1 of the anime and later seasons to continue writing the story.

Love the video but a couple of things I disliked is how quickly the description of each character disappeared and the animation used to make it happen. I kept trying to pause the video just at the right time when the whole description was in place but it disappeared quickly. Not only that, the animation deleting description started from left to right make it even harder to stop the video at the right moment since part of the beginning of the description would get deleted first.

Good video dude, but Mikasa wasn't adopted by the Jaeger family, you can very clearly see that Mikasa still refers to Eren's parents as Mr. and Aunt Jaeger, not father and mother, and they also only lived together for about a year at most.
she actually _is_ adopted. i think it's up to the person who the parents adopt to think of proper name to call their adoptive parents. some choose mom/dad, some choose mr. , or mrs. , etc. so i'm pretty sure mikasa decided to just call her adoptive parents in a formal way :] (just clarifying! if i did any wrong explanation, kindly tell !!)
