It was a blessing to watch this video today. It is a good reminder to make use of all the food that we have. I think it is wonderful that you put scripture into each box so that you not only help to nourish the body but also help to nourish the soul. God bless ❤
Apple cider vinegar can also be made with the scraps. And the jars that the Alfreado sauce is in can be reused. Even in water bath canning. I enjoyed watching your video and really appreciate the ideas. Now I can incorporate some of them with the items I receive at my local food pantry. From Cheryl in north MS - take care, stay safe and God bless
Always a pleasure to watch all the hopecasts that you do. Great reminder that we need to be resourceful of everything that God has blessed us with. Making meals at home is always so much healthier than fast food . Thank you for providing the food for the body and also the soul. God will bless this ministry.
This is such a blessing! A man at my church brings boxes of food to our church. It really stretches the meals I make. That's wonderful that the food isn't waisted when they have a place to bring it to, like your facility. Do you try to share the gospel too? I know the Lord would bless that. ❤
Homestead Tessie sent me. You have a wonderful ministry. Unfortunately at my church food pantry we are no longer allowed to put any Christian literature of any sort. So sad. But when they come we have all of it sitting on the table and tell them they are free please take what you'd like, and many do.😊😊
Tessie made a recipe recently with the Alfredo Sauce and that is on one of her most recent videos. You could also use it as a base for Tuna fish Casserole. Two cans of Tuna mixed with the Alfredo, slice some green olives, boil a bag of some noodles like Curly Noodles, Elbow noodles, Seashells, or whatever you have, and mixed it all together. If you have some cheese around the house you can layer the Noodles mixture, then sprinkle with grated or sliced cheese, and repeat, until you come to the end, and sprinkle with smashed bread crumbs, ground oatmeal, or cornmeal, add dollops of butter, and heat in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with Salad.
This was filled with excellent tips!
Thank you for watching and I am glad you received value ❤
