    Thanks for also getting into the 70.3! Whats the difference between tempo and race pace efforts?

      HI, thanks for the message! No worries, essentially we break "tempo" or Z3 into low and high, low being your longer efforts that aren't very hard but getting close to the lower end of 70.3 pace. Race pace for 70.3 specifically will be in the higher domain of Z3, or close to SUB THRESHOLD is another term. Great question as it's not super clear or straight forward always. Race pace might look like 3x 15min on; 5min off or 3x 20min on; 10. min off & Tempo might be 45-60min blocks - hope this helps. Andy
