      Fresh Cream - Amul
      Chocolate - Morde (would like to change this)
      Cream Cheese - D'lecta
      Chocolate chips - any random available always a disappointment
      Vanilla from Spring I find expensive, waiting for someone to gift me some lol

    I use Amul chocolate bars. They come in various percentages. Melt them for brownies and mousses or chop them up to use instead of chocolate chips. They’re much better than the compound chocolate available in the market

    Great stuff!! Not many take the time to make videos on ingredients.. which are so important! In my experience you can whip Amul fresh cream to stiff peaks .. by taking only the thick part of the cream on top and whipping over ice bath . Works fine and tastes yummy. It is the only convenient option for us home bakers who don’t bake that often, so it makes no sense to buy 1 liter imported whipping creams available in godrej and foodhall.. those have to be consumed within 3 days sadly. As for the Rich’s whip topping, i tried it and it gave me a tummy ache each time, probably due to the artificial flavoring and hydrogenated oils and high trans fats. As a health professional I really don’t recommend it. Rest I will try to get! Thank you for explaining everything so wonderfully!

      Hi meghna :D
      So first comes in granulated sugar and caster sugar then light and dark brown sugars.. U can use granulated sugar for baking cakes, but it doesn't dissolve much then u'll have to mix a lot then Ur cake will be cracked on top. Using caster sugar, is just amazing.. it has smaller granules and can be easily dissolved. This is the best! coming to the light and dark brown sugars.. these sugars are used in cookies and brownies sometimes.. light brown sugar has about 3.5% molasses and dark brown sugar has approximately 6.5% molasses. It adds caramel flavor and golden brown colors to cookies,cakes,brownies.. Molasses is a thick syrup and a byproduct of sugar cane refining and has a strong caramel flavour.U can use it in gingerbread and that kind of recipes. So that is it about sugars.. Hope it helps you :)

    Hello shiveshji,
    Same pinch
    In cocoa powder, yeast, baking powder, whipping cream, in oil i use sunflower oil which is light nd low cholestrol. Nd it tastes neutral. Cream cheese i haven't tried. I cant right now. Its too expensive. Chocolate compounds and chocolates ( includes butter) i use of morde. Icing sugar and castor sugar i use which brand i can get easily. But i am going to find the brand u suggested. Yes in butter no doubt its always amul. Yes shiveshji, amul also has white butter which we can use for frosting. If unsalted needed. I have tasted it. Its really good. 👍👌thanks for sharing.

    • @shafiabegum3948
      @shafiabegum3948 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How did you active the yeast? I suggest to take like 30 ml of warm water again not too hot it'll deactivate the yeast add some sugar to the water and yeast and give it a good stir and let it rest for 10 minutes you'll see a cloudy mess, that means your yeast has activated

    • @nasreenkhan7961
      @nasreenkhan7961 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There r two reason that the yeast will not activate, 1. The yeast may hv expired or may hv been in air too long. 2. The liquid may hv not been warm enough. .. Also ifu over work the dough it dsnt rise.

    Hi Shivesh very nice introduction to ingredients video. Hope u won't mind sharing if u live in Delhi. It's a guess seeing Aahar brand n CCDS Brand. Well try hand on DHAMPUR GREEN brand for sugars excellent n superb texture plus variety of things available. I tried castor sugar was perfect as it should be. U will find golden syrup , mascovado sugar too. U can order bulk as u bake regularly as most items not on shelves. Yeah u r true about chocolate chips we don't get good ones at all here they don't melt sometimes horrible texture. Did u got your piping nozzles too from CCDS. Do u use them from brand Wilton? Well in chocolates I find amazing result from AMUL DARK CHOCOLATE, AMUL BITTERSWEET Ones. They melt exactly no lumps, no stickiness as that of Morde ones. Tastes gr8 made fudge, brownies , chocolate cake, mousse all were just fantastic. Try out yourself will find difference. It's gr8. Well bye. GOD BLESS U

    Hello shivesh I just wanted to ask you what actually cream cheese from D'lecta taste like?
    I'm using store bought cream cheese for the first time and I ordered a tub of 1kg from D'lecta but it smells absurd and way too salty and sour and it has water at the bottom of the tub and the texture is dry and grainy.
    Can you please help me with this?

      Hey! Food colours for cakes and icings ..'sprig' and "Colourmist Colour Splash" are amazing brands.. they are kinda liquid and gel.. And especially for fondants and icings.. sugarin is the best. I use these brands for my baking.. They are available on amazon. Hope this is helpful :)
