Beautiful acting, the black girl, OMG, ❤️ her. She balance the move 🎥 on being serious to being funny and realistic. A little of everything! Hope I make sense.
Two Things-1. Love The Clapper!!!, Who Needs Alexa?!?!? 2. Best Line -Saying That You Will Always Love Me, But Can’t Accept Me, Is Not Love, It’s Pathetic.--Hit So Close To Home For Me. Great Film:)
MK K. Yeah because if they don't accept u for who u are, do they truly love u or only love part of u... Love is love and it's not choice or a lifestyle... But when it's blood that cannot accept u well it hurts much more because u guys always will be family, or at least related
Wow, a low budget gay short with great acting, everyone, even Drunkie in the men's room. I forgot they were mere actors. Not one single cringe worthy cheezeball line of dialog either! Yo, Nick Neon, I'm gonna look for more of your "schtuff", it don't stink. BTW, this short should be feature length. I want to know more about these characters. Great job, thanks for letting us watch your work. -TW If this us part of a series, can you please number them, tell us the order and where to start? Umm, yeah, that would be great. 😁
Nick Neon is an COMPLETE genius💥👊💯I've just had the huge pleasure of watching "Ultra Blue" & the above, straight afterwards;both 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟,though the above - for me - is,if possible, better. KUDOS to everyone involved👏👏👏👋💖💙💖💙✌
This is a wonderful film... and by far excellent writing that is much needed in the gay community! The victim trope being played out to justify anger and division is wonderfully counteracted.... the woke media triggers were neutralized by snapping things into focus. Our nature is to be depressed by all of it, but in reality everyone has their form of oppression... but because it is theirs it doesn't hurt as much as ours.... and we get tricked into trying to compete to just get the empathy we crave... but when we get it we are still sad, because the power comes from within... so by the dad saying "she washed the dishes", the sister having her rant, James turning down casual sex and even a date with a man he is clearly attracted to takes the focus off of "woe is me, my life sucks" to a sobering reality that we are all in it together. When the pictures in the box fall out he gets it... he has to be strong and do what he is drawn to do (literally... and those are awesome drawings!).... the fantasy element of him enjoying New Years Eve was wonderful. I did the same thing, walked around and heard people all around celebrating as I zened out to whatever messages the universe gave me. On a funny note, the cranberry scene is EPIC! Thank you for this!
I love how closes you are to the truth. Well not The Truth but still, your analysis of the situation is so articulate. I especially appreciate the moment from 1:03, it's so on point. Next time I need an advice, I'll come back to your videos. People often act like they have a choice, but from what you say, things are predestined... Giving you a like
'oriental + pissed" - died of laughing:) and love it! Nick Bro.. this is the third short of Yours I saw today and - man - I'm a big fan of Your acting skills. So natural and different in all those three shorts.. but with the common quality - see the start of this comment LOL. So You have a fan in Poland. Thanks!
Hey. I just watched two really excellent films. One was titled "Last Ferry," which was a rather sinister, mysterious, and intriguing, murder mystery, about a weekend at the Pines, on Fire Island. I won't say anything more about it, but if you haven't seen it yet, do. You won't be disappointed. The second was a short film set in NYC, and written and directed by Nick Neon. The title was "Club Zero, and was really good and well done, and is apparently a part of a series, penned by Mr Neon. And again, I highly recommend you see it, if you haven't already. Ciao! Jay.
Good story and I find it really interesting that it is set in Salt Lake. I used to be mormon and it is nice to see that that place is not homogeneous (even though it is just fiction, the narrative tries to show something realistic and I can believe that Utah has many gay/lesbian people).
14:02 sounds like my family, at EVERY holiday!!!!!! this is why I volunteer to work every holiday. LOL I would rather get double pay, and not deal with family!!!!! not everyone likes drama!!!!!!!!!
I had many wishes like James do in new year eve, I have manyyyyyy wishes that my family would accept me for who I’m really are💔 I know my wishes will never be true💔💔
(!) What's there to say when you're living the dream? ...or: "just another day in paradise?" Some artists made some cinematography here that's *right up there*. No question. Thanks, seriously.
So many of these agenda-kult basement productions feature cameos [enormous in girth] of bovine ko-komrades...usually of that peculiar rather pronouncedly sunburnt variety. 🐽🐽🐽😎😎😎🇺🇸
“Does anything ever get easier?” “No. But you get tougher.” Man, this guy is wise. 😮👏
Sally is literally the best friend you could ever have
Now this is real ensemble acting and crisp writing
WOW !!!!! What an amazing film.
I wish there was another 3 hours. I didn’t want it to end.
BRAVO.
Beautiful acting, the black girl, OMG, ❤️ her. She balance the move 🎥 on being serious to being funny and realistic. A little of everything! Hope I make sense.
So grateful I exist in a time when I can bare witness to art such as Zero One. What a vibrant representation of love and pain.
very good short. loved the line "does it ever get easier?" and the dad's answer "no, but you get tougher"
Jim: **plops cranberry sauce on plate**
Sister: **tRiGgErEd**
that was very well done. I can't wait for part 3 to see how his life (and drama) unfolds. thank you for this.
Wow! I am very impressed. A well-directed production.
Wow. Its been so long since i watched this at a film festival. Still gives me overwhelming emotions and tears just like the first time. Soo many feels

BRAVO! For a minute or two I actually felt slightly embarrassed because that hit so close to home!
Ryan Black why u feel embarrassed?
What a beautifully crafted film. The story and characters moved me with their authenticity and depth.
This was great!! Very impressive writing and acting!! One of the best gay short films I've seen. This would make a great series.

**Jim just being a vegetarian**:
Sister: … and I took that personally.
Good movie. Very good actors and actresses and good plot. As I watched her I felt like I never wanted it to end. Fabulous!

Jim: and..may the uh… food be with us all. amen? yeah, amen.
Sister: *sHoOk*
Thank God for friends, one's real family. ❤️
I yelled when he plopped that canned cranberry sauce onto that plate!!! I thought that was something we only do here in the south! HAHAHA!
I think it was in the middle of what looked b like mashed potato dish. At any rate it was an excellent overture for the feelings of the moment!!
Jimmy is an amazing actor, i can feel his pain

.... and to add more to it, the line his dad gives that shatters the victim mentality "I gave you your freedom" is the most touching of all!

How does a vegetarian even begin to get it up with a rump roast?
Love it
Sorry it's me again. The title of the second film was "Zero One_ and not "Club Zero." My had.
was the roof top scene shot in Atlanta because it seems very similar if not identical.

Please, name of music in 16:40
I need a BF like Sally!!! OMG perfection!!
Drama everywhere
Hope riley features jim in his quarterly =]
Riley really look like Matthew Gray Gubbler
All the cussing of the main character is a real turn off. It makes him cheap.
🖤💜🖤
