Lions were much better, as a Crusaders boy I was disappointed to say the least, I presume most Canterbury folk would consider that our worst game for a couple years but to be fair the Lions forced Crusader mistakes. I thought the young guys were blindsided and had no impact. Izzy did himself no favours, Mounga could not adapt, Havili playing in a position he hasn't played in since school days, Loose forwards no turnovers and Lions loosies good, compared to the Lions halfback our 9 was the invisible man, wont blame the ref, should of adapted to him by at least half time. I consider the score 15-3, every kiwi I was with thought the kick went over, good god how could you miss that ? I actually thought the Canterbury front row was better than the Lions front row, you could see that, unsure why people think otherwise ? Front row and Goodhue only pass marks, the rest, points go to the Lions, well done British and Irish Lions. This will give the ABs a big wake up call.
after the loss to the blues I couldn't find the post match press conference for many days. man this came fast once they won a game. and my god dies Gatland sound proud of himself to win that ugly game.
to add all the pressure is on lions... playing loads games in short time... with bunch of players having to structure a team. 6 nation's they enemies. now they need to gel to be a gud team. that ain't easy...
Best team all around with procession and territory , the Lions were to strong upfront against a real good Crusaders unit but good luck to the Crusaders and go win the S15 guys .
He was alright, he's just different from Super Rugby refs. Though, the Lions deserved to win, the ref was lost when it came to scrum time. But hey, bad calls against both sides.
This was a poor game from an entertainment point of view...The Lions played well with a bit of help from the Ref, that said the Crusaders had a poor outing... The kick from the Lions should have been referred. Lots of shitty poor refereeing, weither it would have changed the results, who knows? The fact is the better team won. They were solid in defence and put the crusaders under pressure...This said, this is no reflection of what the AB's will bring / The Maori AB's... That will be a totally different game! Also the score line says it all! If they smashed the Crusaders 50-0 that would be different. Also Before I get destroyed in the comments. I am a kiwi in London and a super rugby fan, I watch all the games, I thought the ref was shit, but that doesn't matter, I'm more worried about the south african officiating the first All Blacks test more than these super rugby games. AB's for the win.
What? This was a great game from both sides, particularly given the greasy conditions. Plenty of running, aggressive, tactical rugby, few pauses, not much waiting around, or repeated set scrums. The zero try count made up in other ways, a highly watchable game. Need to employ TMO for kicks over the posts, that wasn't good enough for this level of rugby.

The crusaders score tries there a great side but today wasn't there day and they were beaten by a much better forward pack if your honest did you see the statistics the line-out was won by the BIL the scrums were won , but good luck to you guys your a awesome at rugby .
