At least they had space to move and food/water. You can tell the people actually cared about them. Even though it was a bad situation. Thank you for helping them.
I have rabbits my own since 20 years. I could see she was about to die, laying flat and horrific underweight. It happens from now to sudden. 😢 I have always just 1 pair of rabbits and their property is about 3qm indoor plus 8qm outdoor with a cat-door. In Summer another 12qm. They were scheduled to slaughter aged 3 and 5 years. Guess mother and son.
Kudos to the owner for ultimately doing the right thing. He was obviously overwhelmed and ill-equipped. Hopefully all those fur babies find good homes soon. Thank you and everyone involved in this rescue for doing what you do! It's really nice to see pet-tubers who use their position to help animals in need.
In my experience with horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, I have found that older people (typically men) will never accept that they are doing anything wrong. This was the way they've been doing it their entire lives and everything is perfectly fine. Even in the last 10 years small animal care has come so far from what it used to be. It's sad that there are people who refuse to learn anything new, even if it would make their animals happier.
@@RabbitHasRabies1997most reptiles benefit from UVB (basically faux sun) but it is not necessary in *most* cases (there are some diurnal species who *need* UVB).

We had a close call with my friend's rabbit and it was only as good an outcome as it was because I had noticed IMMEDIATELY that he wasn't eating like he should be when I went to feed him in the morning. We had him into the vet within and hour or so (and most of that was driving time!) and we caught the problem before he went into full Stasis. Even catching it that quick (he had eaten his dinner fine the night before, this was only 12 hours later!) he still had to stay overnight at the vet for observation to make sure he recovered.
Considering the amount of animals and their situation, they seemed to keep the enclosures as clean as they could - there was no enrichment or nutrition but it seemed clean and dry. Good for them for calling you guys. It’s so easy for things to spiral. Thanks for helping them
the man saying ‘ow, you’re hurting me!’ to the bunny was kinda ironic. the bunny doesn’t know any better, all it knows is that it’s terrifying and its fighting for its life. he could know better if he wanted to, yet lives in blissful ignorance to make his life easier and lessen his own guilt. obviously i don’t think this guy is an irredeemable person, but he doesn’t seem like he wants to change. maybe im wrong. i really hope i am. thank you for rescuing these animals!
God this kind of stuff makes me feel so much rage and anger and sadness. The way this man is LAUGHING while the bunnies are running in fear is so disheartening. It is so simple to just do a little research to make sure you are giving proper care. I am so thankful for the rescue work you have been doing Austin it is incredible.
Yeah same I feel so damn frustrated and angry (sorry I can't help it if anyone thinks I mean) but personally I don't understand how this stuff even happens. He didn't seem to care crap that the boys get among the females and he doesn't even have enough money to feed them all. He surely must know how fast these animals breed. Situations like this makes me the most angry, lazy, careless people and specially considering all the shelters are already more than full. It's not even the people causing this that makes me angry (I mean I don't know the full situation, maybe the person has dementia, mental illness) but just the whole situation and that likely lot of these animals will never find a good home and die in the shelter or put down.
Thank you for helping these animals. You can tell the owner was trying to care for them, but didn’t have the right kind of education regarding their husbandry. While I’m glad they weren’t in little cages, it’s incredibly sad to see how poorly some of them were. So much straw, but no hay to eat.
He would give them hay, but only a handful to split amongst all the guinea pigs and rabbits 😔 With how many there were, they could go through a bale a week
He seemed to just be an older working class guy. I’ve seen some things in my life that I’d be quick to judge (animal cases) but when you get down to the nitty gritty, we are spoiled with knowledge that the older generation doesn’t have. I believe he did try, because to fully neglect them, there would be no hay down, no hides whatsoever, never any water, and they’d all be so skinny you’d see all of their bones and dead buns and pigs everywhere. It is a sad case but it could’ve been a whole different case if he was completely neglectful. He should’ve got them fixed that is on him, but saying they weren’t fed is a weird take on the video. He’s just an older guy, he could’ve completely abandoned all of them there’s so many takes he could’ve had that would’ve been far worse.
as someone who grew up with a family who treats animals almost exactly like this, it has been so traumatic to look back on my memories with their animals and remember how terrible their living conditions were. it’s absolutely petrifying and disgusting, it makes you feel so helpless. thank you so much for rescuing them. god.
I felt this frustration and anger with my ex (thus she’s my ex now). She more than once called me “meticulous” for the care of my snakes and spiders. I would daily check humidity levels and temperatures, weekly water cleans and changes and kept close tabs on feeds and snake weights. The same person who called me “meticulous” was the person who kept her snakes in way too small enclosures with no heat no humidity and some without any water. She had dead lizards and dead spiders. And I’m the meticulous one. At least I properly care for my animals.
It’s good that you’re meticulous about pet care. It’s something you should be meticulous about. They can’t speak to us or tell us when something’s wrong, so setting up ideal conditions is absolutely necessary.
I'm not as thorough as you with my reptile care but I never leave them without water. Or scheduled food. I can't imagine just having them dead in their enclosures...
Comparing the uneducated (the owner in the video) with someone who’s purely lazy (your ex) is insane to me lol. Uneducated doesn’t mean uncaring. This scenario in this video is NOT the worst and people should hold their judgement for those who actually deserve it.
I think those situations can come from a good place. He wanted to help, that is a good thing at first. But when you have animals, it is also important to be able to accept when it is too much. Being able to ask for help before the situation gets out of hand is the most difficult and the most necessary. He finally got some much needed help thanks to the rescues and you, thanks for that. At the end, he was not knowledgeable enough to care of those animals properly, that is a shame, but it is never too late to learn. I hope he do not let this happen again.
I'm so scared he will get more when that need and loneliness sets in again, I just really hope he thinks about what is actually best for the animals and not his own feelings but realises that he's not capable of keeping them. He could maybe have one rabbit but then the one inside had maggots.
Well at least he still cared about them. Uneducated doesn’t mean uncaring. After all he gave them all up to a rescue - a true abuser would never and would prioritize their own love for them over the animals well-being. Sooo….this is not the worst situation I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen far, far worse.
@@knotsoangelic Care? Where was care? Uneducated is uncaring. When you have pets, their lives are in YOUR hands. If you don't learn how to take care of them, this shit happens. It is EASY to research, everyone has access to technology these days. They had phones or computers, they could have researched it. They could have went to their local library and used those computers too. But they didn't, they didn't learn the most BASIC shit about those guinea pigs. That is abuse and neglect. These guinea pigs and rabbits were neglected, neglect is abuse. They weren't cared for at all. If they cared, they would have never let it get this out of control. They would have researched and learned as soon as possible, but they failed to do so. Having pets is like having kids, you can't just have them without learning about them. If you saw someone with multiple children running around with dirty diapers in a dirty house without any decent food, water, or care, would you say that same thing? No, you wouldn't, you would agree that it is abusive and neglective and that they do not care. You clearly don't care either.
@knotsoangelic No if he cared he would have done research on how to care for them properly. A "true abuser" is someone who does not care for the lives of other creatures who depend on them, that's him. He can't claim to care about them & then treat them like this. He might not hit them or anything (as far as we know) but neglect is still a form of abuse.
“this behavior”? Surely you aren’t comparing this to, say, that one lady who ONLY kept her dogs starved and dehydrated in cages 24 hours 7 days a week. Obviously improvements should be made to care but jesus y’all are acting like that one lady w the caged dogs and it’s kinda gross how y’all don’t have grey thinking whatsoever. Save your extreme judgements for those who deserve it
Ok, call me crazy, but I swear when you gave them the carrots and romain and peppers, I saw GLEE on the piggies' faces as they munched and grabbed for the good food! Haven't seen you lately, what an amazing rescue. Thanks for helping all those poor little critters!! ❤
This reminds me of that time Saskia from Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue rescued over 700 guinea pigs from a hoarder, only they were in an even worse situation than this. They were a filthy environment. At least these weren't in that but still not ideal and needed rescuing. Thank You for rescuing them.💯💕💕🐹🐹🐹🐹
What a sad situation. People really need to do research before getting pets of any kind. Thanks so much for your hard work on getting these lovely animals into a safer environment
Research is SO important! If people took the little bit of time to inform themselves of proper care, we’d have less of these kinds of situations around the world 😅
@@ThePigRoom I was in a petstore in the UK (we actually have some healthy forage snacks and hay in the UK in ours) but there was a family with two kids getting guinea pigs and I asked them a few questions and gave tips on the size of the enclosure and some youtubers to check as they looked so baffled about how to take care of them based on the questions. I think I researched for 3-4 months before getting my piggies and even then I'm still learning. But it's definitely true! The two girls I got for my neutered boar were cooped up in a small hutch in the dark and went into gi stasis within a day of being with me because the sounds and lights etc were overwhelming. I got them straight to an emergency vet and syringe fed them for over a week until they were better. If I hadn't looked up the signs though they very well could have passed :( I imagine things like that happen a lot more than we realise.
@@ThePigRoomIt’s more than just looking things up it’s also costs as well :/ i think it’s just ….nice that it’s not the worst case scenario. I’ve seen far far worse.
I have 4 piggies, 2 females, 2 male,. I got them for christmas and i was completely unsure how to care for them, but i found your channel and you have seriously helped me so much, they were living in a extremely small pet store cage and we are now moving them to this huge cage (we arent keeping females and males together) But i just wanted to say thank you so much now our piggies are living an amazing life all thanks to you ❤
THANK YOU for not keeping males and females together. It astounds me that people keep opposite sex animals together that aren't spayed/neutered and then people freak out when babies appear. What did they expect? Do they think pets don't breed? Do they think they use birth control or something??
My buns ears are like that he’s a half mini rex half lop. It is the cutest thing and he has the benefit of his ears not getting infections as bad as lops tend to get.
It's crazy how little people care about small pets, my guinea pig is probably the most cared for person in our house, his name's cow, he's 8+1/2 and sadly blind from his recent cancer surgery (I know he shouldn't be kept alone, but his siblings sadly died, cow's got a cage in our kitchen so he's really ( hopefully ) not lonely, he loves lettuce and fresh dandelion leaves, he doesn't like cucumbers. Probs to you for helping these ones out
At least the owner of the property is being supportive and helping you guys rescue these poor little helpless creatures and I hope you could find them great homes I was also about to say maybe connect with pipsqueakers they are a really good organization but they specialize mostly with hamsters. They do take in guinea pigs and the odd rabbit here and there. Yet they only specialize with small creatures look into them. They are a really good rescue. The last I heard they have a North Jersey chapter so it will help to see if they will take in some guinea pigs if you still have a few who need a home
Austin, I think I can speak for everyone when I say from the bottom of my heart, thank you. These babies will now have the opportunity to be loved and safe. You are truly amazing.
I am sure that he had good intentions. As thing progressed , things got out of hand. I am so happy there are good people like you out there who rescues them. Bless you and your friends.
This is honestly the hardest to accept for younger people in general - that some (usually older) people really are unbelievably uneducated, nor do they even seek out the knowledge for themselves. They don't even know how to access the resources we have now, or have no interest in them. This goes for everything, not just animal care but also culture, geography, politics, health. We are the smartest (to a fault) generation to have ever lived, and also most compassionate towards animals, because the value of education and sustainability have been ingrained in us since the 80s/90s. But it wasn't always like that, and for us it's hard to understand that a lot of people really don't know anything but the things they've been doing their whole lives.
I work with animal resource. It's so tragic to see this sort of animal holding behavior that is all to common in older folks. At least these people tried. I'm so happy that you responded them
the little baby bunny that died in kays arms reminded me exactly how my little baby , dolce , who looked exactly like that sweetie passed away . she didnt show signs of being ill until it was too late .
Im so grateful you rescued them. I think that guy needs help. Often times when people are like this they have a lack of positive human connections and struggles with mental illness. I'm going to pray for those animals and also that guy gets his needs met which led him to hording animals in the first place.
This was hard to watch, the man seemed so no-cholent about his animals. So sad to see how people can let it get so bad when all that needed doing was to spay or neuter when he only had a few. I could see how patient you had to be when I'm sure you just wanted to gather them up yourselves and not risk injuring any of the animals. Bless you guys for doing this!!! 🥰
He was completely unaware of his setup for them was actually causing more harm. It was irresponsible to take in so many and not take all precautionary measure to make sure the number didn't increase (breeding).
I'm not sure if guinea pigs can be spayed and some people also don't do that to rabbits if they're kind of skittish so they don't die under surgery. But you can simply keep them separate.
1. “just spay and neuter” like anyone can afford that nowadays. You can keep them separated it’s easier. 2. I got a different vibe from this man - loving, but knows he can’t care for them anymore. He sounded old I bet he didn’t even see the conditions of the rabbits and pigs esp with how many there were. This comment section should be grateful he ever reached out instead of literal death threats to the guy. There’s a silver lining and noones seeing it and it’s cringe as hell.
While things were horrible, they could have been a lot worse. It almost feels worse when you know the owners were clearly trying and caring rather than hoarding just for the sake of it. To be in a position where you care and are trying to do the right thing, only for your 'care' to actually be causing more harm than good would put me in such a bad mental place. I really hope the owner will educate himself and learn to take care for the ones he has left properly :( Happy you managed to get all the females and rabbits though, and that half lop was adorable! I really loved the hamster-like baby piggie, oh my god they were so cute lol
I rescue cats and kittens from hoarding situations- I just wanted to say that I hope you’re taking good care of yourselves too. This work is hard and can really wear you down (physically, emotionally), but what you’re doing is SO important. Thank you so much for what you do. 💓💓
Austin, you are truly the definition of an amazing young man. I could see that this rescue was taking a lot out of you, but yet you continued to persevere and rescue as many as you could. When you placed all the piggies in the temporary cage and then fed them the fresh veggies and pellets, just watching them happily eating brought tears to my eyes. I wish that each one of these precious piggies and bunnies could find an immediate loving home, but I know that isn't possible. I'm just happy that they are now safe and will be cared for properly. Thank you for taking them out of that less than ideal place and giving them a chance at their forever homes. I have such admiration for you and the other rescuers who give of their time and energy to help those who cannot help themselves.
It honestly looks like he did try his best, sad that he didn't do better research into care though. I love how there wasn't any judgements or anger towards him, I normally wouldn't feel any sympathy towards animal neglecting owners but he seemed to have good intentions but was overwhelmed. Although since he's old he may not have known about all the social media husbandry and care groups that give advice or support for education. Glad the piggies and rabbits are getting proper care ❤
I have mad respect for yall, I could not keep my composure with that situation, and the man saying he’s sorry or whatever to the guinea Pigs is such bull s**t, he doesn’t care, them babies were scared to death ❤
He was handling them awfully. I wish I didn’t lose the footage when I went out there the second time because I got so much footage of how he was handling them 😟 He was holding some upside down. It was AWFUL

Austin this is a whole ass MOVIE!!! This is incredible and I am so so proud of you for rescuing so many animals ♥️♥️♥️ YOU are the good we need to see in the world! 🥰
to be honest from rescuing for years, this one wasn't so bad, just ill informed people. some of the things I've witnessed. It would give some nightmares. Good job
You both had so much patience and grace with the situation despite the mental/emotional difficulty (it was hard to watch even! 😢), but I want to especially shout out Kay for asking some hard questions and being assertive without being rude about trying to take all the rabbits. I think there were a few times where you could see you were having a hard time (totally understandable!) and you guys made a great team! ❤
Thank you for saving them! I'm sorry you had to go through that and watch that poor rabbit. Thank you for doing these real rescues and saving the rabbits and piggies!
It makes me so sad to see this. Your work was really great and so were your words to the owner. Thank you for being such a good person. I also have three guinea pigs myself, I've always had them since I was a child. That's why I really enjoy watching your channel. thank you for your great videos 🥰🙂
True Fan here! Thank you so much for everything you do to rescue the piggies and bunnies! I think your channel needs to be seen more so you can be supported in this, because the work you do really is amazing! ❤
I am glad to see majority of these beautiful animals will now be in a better place where they can get proper vet treatment and care. thank you for being a part of this rescue mission!
This just breaks my heart, I think the saddest part is he actually thinks he was taking good care of them. They really should not own any animals, thank you Austin and Kay for rescuing as many as u could
@ totally agree, I had Guinea pigs growing up and then just got 2 again a few years ago, since I had not had Guinea pigs in almost 30 years the amount of research I did before to make sure I am taking care of them properly was crazy.
Has he bred all these animals? That's what makes me the most frustrated and angry, how does that even happen, only laziness because clearly he has not enough money and resources to even feed them all. He sounded so whatever when he said sometimes a male just get among the females, then you do something about it. Okay it may happen once or maybe even twice but here it must have happened lots of times. It's so frustrating considering how fast these animals breed, he totally put himself and the innocent animals in this situation.
This was really hard to watch. I'm glad you got involved and helped these poor animals. Thank you for everything you do Austin and Kay, you make this world a better place
the fact that only the old man got hurt by the rabbits and not you says A LOT Respect to not leash out at him... I've got 3 bunnies at the age if 15.. i wanted 2 of them but my brother (7 years older) just bought one as well and put him in my care. I was furious. We had 3 dogs at the time and my australian wouldn't let them be. So i decided to give them away, before these poor souls got a heart attack. My brother was pissed that i didn't take any money, i will never understand how some people can be this cruel and blind to the situation. I wanted to learn and be prepared for those animals and my stupid family went over my head and broke my heart plus nearly killed those poor babies... ANIMALS ARE NOT PRESENTS OR DECORATION!!
Thankyou so much Austin and Kay for helping and SAVING these beautiful animals. ❤ I pray they all survive and get to go to loving homes to live long healthy lives!❤ Sending hugs, love, and prayers from Chicago.
We unfortunately lost a total of 3 rabbits. 2 passed naturally and the one with breathing issues had to be euthanized 😔 All piggies are doing well though thankfully!
I have six guinea pigs of my own we rescue two and were told they were two males they weren’t. I have a skinny guinea pig, which is the mom. She had four babies. We have not got them, but we do have them separated the two girls and then the four boys three babies, one girl, baby, and I watch your videos because you inspire me. This is how I’ve learned so much about guinea pigs and how to properly take care of them and they are very spoiled. Thank you so much for being a good person and willing to take all of these guinea pigs. I will do anything to save guinea pigs.
IT IS AMAZING TO SEE HOW PEOPLE CAN LIVE IN THAT STATE, INCREDIBLE, LOOKS LIKE A PIG STYLE, I ADMIRE YOUR WORK AND PACIENCE, LOVELY WORK. I DON'T BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE ARE ANIMAL LOVERS WHEN THEY KEEP ANIMALS IN THIS CONDITION. BYE MARIA
See here is the thing is that there probably not extremely experienced and like he said they didn’t realize how many these pigs can reproduce especially when female and male are together as you can see this space is very large and not the worst but again many pigs they also have great feeding/water.
Well sometimes these animals are also considered livestock not pets so it's fine to keep them that way as long as you're providing them water and food the USDA does not have very strict qualifications for how you keep animals especially if you're going to use them for food. But don't be too harsh on people because unless you don't eat meat then most animals aren't kept like a child would be
Thank you for helping them out of this situation. This is so sad to see. I’ve been looking for some guinea pigs to rescue and none of the shelters/ rescues near me have any and could take some of them but I live so far away. I hope all the guinea pigs can eventually be saved! ❤
You always have an animals welfare at heart and you are such a kind and caring person now these guys are safe and will be properly cared for you and Kay are are stars keep us updated on how they are doing ❤
You are truly an angel walking among us! I'm in the UK and love guinea pigs - but I'm getting to the age/mobility that I can't have any more, I have one male left since he lost his friend 2 years ago, he's in his 8th year and thriving well, showing no signs of being unhappy as he gets lots of love and attention. If I was younger and fitter I would adopt more! Keep up the great work you do, bless you
Total huge respect for you. A very genuine caring person. Well done for all you do. And to accept whoever the owners are and rise above it and just being thankful that the animals have been removed from any situation. You have my complete respect you are a fantastic human being ❤

I found you not too long ago, your heart is so pure. Thank you for all you do not only for the animals that need you but for how much love and knowledge you share to us all through your own Guinea Pigs!
I can really appreciate the growth you are showing in the judgment department it’s very hard to do that. Awesome for you Austin!! Thankyou for helping the fur babies!!
Oh my gosh, this was a hard one to watch and you were right about the judgement....there was a disconnect between what the owner thought of care and love to what actually was taking place. Unfortunately, you are the one that is going to have to reach out to see how the ones left in his care are doing as he will not be the one reaching out. Austin, the look on your face said all the emotions any words could say and you handled the whole hoarding situation with the owner graciously and you saved all those rabbits and guinea pigs. Many thanks for all who helped you, from Kay to all the rescues! Austin, thank you for your continued work!
At least they had space to move and food/water. You can tell the people actually cared about them. Even though it was a bad situation. Thank you for helping them.

yeah he kept laughing as if one didnt just die in the ladies arms... thats what sickens me
21:03 I’m glad that you acknowledged that he cared, but he was just ignorant and didn’t know any better. Love is important, but neglect still kills! 😢
@izzyvicente-bradley2311 It's very easy to go on the internet and search for how to care for them
as someone who grew up with a family who treats animals almost exactly like this, it has been so traumatic to look back on my memories with their animals and remember how terrible their living conditions were. it’s absolutely petrifying and disgusting, it makes you feel so helpless. thank you so much for rescuing them.
You're a good snake and spider owner. I like you. Personally, I think it's better to be meticulous than careless and lazy with animals.
How dare you properly care for animals! How dare you keep them alive! Shame on you for providing them basic needs!
Y'all want that man to have more animals? 😂
I swear.
I'm so scared he will get more when that need and loneliness sets in again, I just really hope he thinks about what is actually best for the animals and not his own feelings but realises that he's not capable of keeping them. He could maybe have one rabbit but then the one inside had maggots.
@@moni5620 They never said that, fool, learn to read and hold your black and white judgement for someone who actually deserves it. Smh
Watching the owner hold those bunnies was terrifying the way he just like picked them up by their neck?? No way
Yeah this part made me very nervous 😬
Well at least he still cared about them. Uneducated doesn’t mean uncaring. After all he gave them all up to a rescue - a true abuser would never and would prioritize their own love for them over the animals well-being. Sooo….this is not the worst situation I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen far, far worse.
@@knotsoangeliche doesn't care, if he did he'd do research
Having to stomach this behavior from people and still being kind is a very impressive skill, thank you for being there for these animals.
Save your extreme judgements for those who deserve it
Okay, thanks for your reply! I hope you have a fantastic December!
I got them for christmas and i was completely unsure how to care for them, but i found your channel and you have seriously helped me so much, they were living in a extremely small pet store cage and we are now moving them to this huge cage (we arent keeping females and males together) But i just wanted to say thank you so much now our piggies are living an amazing life all thanks to you ❤
That makes me so so happy to hear! I am glad you were able to learn better care 😊 I’m sure you’ve got some very happy piggies!
THANK YOU for not keeping males and females together. It astounds me that people keep opposite sex animals together that aren't spayed/neutered and then people freak out when babies appear. What did they expect? Do they think pets don't breed? Do they think they use birth control or something??
30:14 to be honest since he kept a few I would give him kind suggestions on care and management of the animals
omg, that bunny with 1 flop ear and 1 straight ear took me out, what an angel. thank you for saving these babies!
Very cute. A friend of mine once had a rabbit with ears halfway between lop and upright- they stuck straight out like helicopter blades!
Probs to you for helping these ones out
At least the owner of the property is being supportive and helping you guys rescue these poor little helpless creatures and I hope you could find them great homes
I was also about to say maybe connect with pipsqueakers they are a really good organization but they specialize mostly with hamsters. They do take in guinea pigs and the odd rabbit here and there. Yet they only specialize with small creatures look into them. They are a really good rescue. The last I heard they have a North Jersey chapter so it will help to see if they will take in some guinea pigs if you still have a few who need a home
They actually took a couple of the pigs!!
When I saw the way he picked them up it physically hurt me
Who?
same my stomach dropped and i felt physically sick
@@Iamaguienapig it happens at 11:42
I know it hurt me on the inside
Then why doesn’t anyone educate him on HOW to properly hold them
This is honestly the hardest to accept for younger people in general - that some (usually older) people really are unbelievably uneducated, nor do they even seek out the knowledge for themselves.
Thank you for helping these animals, i’m glad the owners let you.
Bless Kay for finding that sick baby bunny and providing some comfort for it while it passed ❤️
I only made it 4 minutes in before I started crying. Breaks my heart to see animal hoarding situations. Those babies don’t deserve it
I work with animal resource.
@@knotsoangelicexactly well said hes litterally getting them help and letting them to take the ones he wanted to keep
I really hope the owner will educate himself and learn to take care for the ones he has left properly :(
Happy you managed to get all the females and rabbits though, and that half lop was adorable! I really loved the hamster-like baby piggie, oh my god they were so cute lol
when he was stomping around the pen with all the baby bunnies i was so stressed 😭i thought he was gonna step on one
And the way he grabbed them! I thought he was going to break a bunny's back:(
omg watching them eat the fresh veggies was so cute
Oh Austin the strength you have to do this❤ and the patience and forgiveness for owners who horribly treat their animals thank you ❤
I rescue cats and kittens from hoarding situations- I just wanted to say that I hope you’re taking good care of yourselves too.
I have mad respect for yall, I could not keep my composure with that situation, and the man saying he’s sorry or whatever to the guinea
Pigs is such bull s**t, he doesn’t care, them babies were scared to death ❤
He was handling them awfully. I wish I didn’t lose the footage when I went out there the second time because I got so much footage of how he was handling them 😟 He was holding some upside down. It was AWFUL
@@ThePigRoom I can only imagine, if I could say anything about this situation, please please please do ur research atleast 6 months to 1 year before u get any animal. U r amazing Austin and I’m sure u will get really good footage again, unfortunately this is a continuous struggle ❤️
@@ThePigRoomyou really have my admiration and respect for how you handle yourself, other people and all the animals you help and care for.
Yeah exactly and the way he was laughing was making me mad too!
@@Bonklyboi oh yeah that too, like he thought it was a joke?! I’m like wtf, some ppl should b banned from having any animals. Period
thank you for doing this work. my guinea pig passed on thursday i can’t imagine forcing any to be in these conditions… i will forever support your business.
I feel so bad watching this I'm so thankful there are people that help like you❤
i love how they werent judging him to his face but just trying to help the animals
I'm glad so many of them are now getting the things they need now and I hope they all find loving homes
You guys are doing amazing work!! So happy to see the piggies with fresh food and water. Thank you to you and all the rescues involved. I hope all the animals find good homes.
I love how u are rescuing these pets
Me too! It’s a lot of work, but it makes me so so happy to help give them a better life 😊
@ omg u responded
Just signed up to volunteer at my local rabbit rescue in my city, in nursing school! This video inspired me to do so. Thank you so much for taking care of these babies.
My son (7) wanted to tell you that we have two guineapig girls 😊
It’s sad that the guy had such a lack of knowledge…. The pets had so much more space than at the animal shelter…. That must be such a shock for them. Also for the bunnies to be separated
you can already tell the piggies were comfortable they were laying with their little legs out in the quarantine pen🥹
Awww!! This makes me miss my Peruvian longhair Joe!! ❤❤❤
I come from Germany and look your videos very much!
Thank you for your work. I am the owner of 3 rabbits 🤗🥰
Thank you so much for rescuing those sweet souls, they deserve so much better from human. Thanks to you and Kay they will finally live in a warm and loving home with proper care. ❤
So happy you guys were there to help, you guys truly are life savers. Thank you for all that you do!!!

Austin this is a whole ass MOVIE!!! This is incredible and I am so so proud of you for rescuing so many animals ♥️♥️♥️ YOU are the good we need to see in the world! 🥰
Thanks for giving the piggies and buns another chance at a good life
I have to give these people credit for admitting that they needed help. I know I would be humiliated and afraid of being judged.
to be honest from rescuing for years, this one wasn't so bad, just ill informed people. some of the things I've witnessed.
You are truly such an amazing human being and I really love what you are doing to help all these innocent souls, we need more people like you ❤️
I am glad to see majority of these beautiful animals will now be in a better place where they can get proper vet treatment and care.
thank you for being a part of this rescue mission!
This just breaks my heart, I think the saddest part is he actually thinks he was taking good care of them. They really should not own any animals, thank you Austin and Kay for rescuing as many as u could
Some people really just don't know what they are doing sometimes 😢
Thank you for everything you do Austin and Kay, you make this world a better place
the fact that only the old man got hurt by the rabbits and not you says A LOT
Respect to not leash out at him...
❤ I pray they all survive and get to go to loving homes to live long healthy lives!❤
Sending hugs, love, and prayers from Chicago.
We unfortunately lost a total of 3 rabbits. 2 passed naturally and the one with breathing issues had to be euthanized 😔 All piggies are doing well though thankfully!
@ThePigRoom 😪🙏❤
Great job on your rescue, the whole team, bless you for caring about them and helping both the owner and animals.♥♥♥
But don't be too harsh on people because unless you don't eat meat then most animals aren't kept like a child would be
Dear Lord how anyone be so horrible to animals?. Thank God you rescued them. Thank you ❤
The horrible animal abusers should be prosecuted.
Keep up the great work you do, bless you
My jaw was open watching this rescue. You guys are absolute saints for this!
Total huge respect for you. A very genuine caring person. Well done for all you do. And to accept whoever the owners are and rise above it and just being thankful that the animals have been removed from any situation. You have my complete respect you are a fantastic human being ❤

As A rabbit breeder this hurts so bad. Im glad that I have more laws to follow as a breder in Sweden.
Amazing work! Please make sure you take care of yourself after these rescues, since I know the things you see are very difficult to get past.
The fact he had to chose which guinea pigs he could take was so sad. I hope the situation gets better for them.
Once again truly unbelievably hard rescue you and Kay did Austin. It takes hard work and commitment to save them. It also amazing the work the guinea pig/rabbit rescues do. Thank you for all you do with these rabbit and guinea pig rescues ♥
You did such a great job with this rescue and thank you for care or Karen who helped you. She did a great job too. You guys did such a great job with the rescue and keep up the great work thank you so much for all the great videos.
kay is amazing, staying so strong to help the animals...it must have been so hard for them, thank you both for everything you do.
It’s always great having a friend come along on difficult rescues like this one! Kay is the best! 💛
Thank you so much for rescue rescuing all those guinea pigs and those two bunnies that was such a great thing that you did at least you we know that they’re in safe homes and nice clean environments now
That was tough. I applaud you both for keeping your composure 💕
The sad part is he hordes…so this story isn’t over for these sweet little loves 😢
How people treat these little innocent pigs and bunnies I will never understand
Omg that was a huge rescue that has got to be hard but I am glad someone is willing to do it and save those animals ❤🎉
There’s a lot of thing that could be improved, not discussion about that, but the fact the they had at least the space, food and water means there’s some hope out there 😂
Got to say you both handled that like a champ you and kay pushed down how angry you was. Glad you and kay managed to sort places for them all. No animals deserve this.
Austin, you are such a special spirit. Thank you for all that you do! Thanks to Kay for looking out for the animals.
Thank you so much for rescuing these poor animals when the baby died and he was holding them wrong I could not I cried it was so sad!
Thank you i cant even say how much im thankful for you helping them
Oh my gosh, this was a hard one to watch and you were right about the judgement....there was a disconnect between what the owner thought of care and love to what actually was taking place.
