- THIS IS THE SUPERIOR CONCEPT *chief’s kiss ! This is ART! I’ve literally had this on repeat since it’s come out. The ‘Im gonna murder you in your sleep’ is my favorite from them! The MV was amazingly beautiful, the sets, the hue really creeps, mysterious and the beat had a little bit of a music box vibe too which added to the creepy side of it. The make up and outfits are fabulous! Wendy looked incredible in this MV but all the girls look so good it’s insane! The high notes were so crystal clear and the raps, probably one of their best! This was such an amazing concept and so well delivered! This REVE festival allowed them to showcased so much and it really highlight how versatile the girls are! And because they make music for everyone, one comeback you might like their song and other not so much but this one is IT for me! CHIEF’S KISS !

I listened to the demo when it was leaked and I was SO excited to see how RV would sing this. This is a masterpiece for real. I loved the MV, THE CHOREO, the outfits... Everything was perfect

Irene always seems to be in control of the girls in many ways which are expressed in the MV's..for instance:
In rookie Irene was controlling puppets which were supposedly the other girls
In Zimzalibim, The girls were riding a roller coaster which was Irene's head in the MV
In Power Up, at the end of the MV The girls are drinking juice which seems to be powering them up. But Irene wasn't drinking anything to power her up in the MV...Irene looks down at a cup which seems to be filled with the juice the girls drank. And that's where Power Up ends.
And now in Psycho, Mid way through the MV the girls start to go a little out of control. Yeri throws a rock at her mirror which may resemble her breaking free; Joy is riding a car and at the same time singing the lyrics "don't look back" which could mean she is trying to break free as well. Seulgi looks in a mirror which one of the reflections isn't the same as the real one. Now lastly, at the end of the MV all the girls seem to be running around Irene and laughing at her which could show that they have broken free and are now teasing her but then Irene's smirk as she says "Phsyco" shows Irene still hasn't lost and still shows she will always be in power over the girls.

The funny part is that, based on the lyrics, it's a real love song. It's about how a couple is so in love with each other that "We're fools for being so in love" and when they're apart she feels "...dizzy and sad, I feel low". It's about how people don't understand their relationship because "We fight like it's our last but then we get along".
I love this song, but then again I love all of Red Velvet's velvet songs. I like most of their red songs too, but I really like their velvet side. I love the video too, with it's, as you call it "I'm gonna murder you in your sleep vibe", which is ironic when you consider the lyrics.
On a side note, the Psycho music video is currently trending at #6 in America.
