They almost always interact, and when Blackpink was promoting how you like that, Irene and Seulgi from red velvet where promoting monster, Jisoo and Seulgi are really close and took pictures backstage cus they where sharing waiting rooms too hajdjah hope you can react to more Red Velvet, they really are amazing. Throughout the mv, they're making references to the movies "Black Swan" and the classic "Psycho". "Black Swan" is a movie (a psychological thriller) that focuses on a ballet dancer that has schizophrenia and you can see how it affected her. They reference this movie by wearing the black and white costumes (representing the Black and White Swan), the scene where a member breaks a mirror/ window, how one butterfly turns into thousands, and Seulgi's reflection staring back at her even though she isn't facing the mirror. Even the main set where they dance is almost like a stage. "Psycho" is referenced when one of the members (Joy) is driving alone.

Wendy is my bias. In December 2019, she had a freak accident at an award show, preparing for rehearsal. She fell off a platform, assuming that portable stairs would be there. The lighting was bad which of course contributed to the accident. She had facial fractures and had to be sidelined during the entire promotion for Psycho. Red Velvet broke BlackPink's record for the number of days between releases. Fourteen months and counting.

Red Velvet have one of the best vocal lines in Kpop! Wendy, the platinum blonde is the BEST female vocalist of this generation. Her range is the widest in Kpop. (4 octaves and 1 note)
The fact is that internationally Red Velvet not as popular as 2 other girl groups from Big 3 (Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet) because their music is sometimes hard to catch up and SM tends to change concepts every comeback. They do a lot of concept like I can't even explain how versatile they are. You might find some of it weird, creepy, aesthetic, girlcrush, cute or whatever it is, they're not afraid of trying something new which sets them apart from other groups.
