Yellow headlights really work in getting the attention of oncoming motorists because it is not what they are expecting to see. After years of near misses I put a yellow film over my head light and could immediately see how much quicker oncoming motorists or motorists about to cross my path on left hand turns picked me up. It works.

i had my last bike with yellow headlights and loved the look just ordered a new yellow headlight for this bike!
