- Hello Riders and Rippers! Today we change it up a bit and cruise down Route 66 enjoying a beautiful sunset. This video has no talking and pure sounds of exhaust. This Harley is equipped with true dual Rineharts’s and a Cam. This part of Route 66 is full of nice winding roads that make riding so enjoyable and fun. I am the ONLY one on the road, and it brings me so much peace to be able to experience it. Enjoy the ride! 😎

Had to sell my bike due to financial issues in Feb 2023, miss it every day since. This video brought me back that beautiful feeling when you can hop on your bike , ride and leave all negative thoughts behind and come back a new person in a couple hours of riding. Thanks

I lived this exact moment often 8 years ago. Video clarity is amazing, even captures the saturation of the desert sun in the distance. I bought the first redesigned Road Glide in SoCal in '15 and put CRF's on it. My favorite ride was back route from Palm Springs to Vegas near 40 and 66 there. I moved on to enduro bikes, they get me farther from people but next favorite 2 wheel moments was this. The small window at dusk in desert when it aint windy, being on a heavy sled feet up on pegs just cruising and staring at that landscape.
I’m shooting with the GoPro hero 12, this is with zero alteration of coloring as well. The views and sunset are remarkable out here definitely a one of a kind. I appreciate you sharing your experience man, there’s some great roads in the desert that’ll take you to unthinkable views. I too have an Enduro; a KTM500 I love everything about it. I`m an adventure bike dad, but this, this is something. I may never buy a HD, but once in a lifetime to fly to USA, rent one and ride the thing trough the open desert, this, this is a real deal!

Get a cheap dual sport and ride. Don't get a Harley. DR650 gonna give you the same hit and you can find a used one for $4k or less. I have 30k miles on mine and you can hit everything.

Yes, the winding roads can be a little worrisome for some people this road specifically had alot of blind spots as well so you really have to trust your fundamentals of riding!

I recognized the area immediately but couldn't figure out which section of the road. The road sign right at the start gave it away once I noticed at 0:49. Watch out for burrows. Great video.

You know what, I don’t think I remember the exact day but I believe it was a week day. I decided to just cruise down to Route 66 right after work and it ended up being perfect! Are you in the AZ area?

I appreciate that! Im running a GoPro Hero 12 for my main, shooting in 4K 30FPS HDR with some other small tweaks to settings. Camera on bike is a GoPro Hero 5 session, shooting in 2.5K 30FPS. The mic set up is an H1N1 with a wind deflector, and that’s just placed in my right pant pocket. 😁

@@truongkimson I’m glad I could be a help to you partner. “Zoom” is actually the brand. So it’s a Zoom H1N. There are many different models of the Zoom line that are upper tier. I’d say mine is more entry level. I’m happy to hear I’m receiving positive feedback with it though!
