To be fair there are like 10 persona games before 5 so its not really even the fifth entry
when i was younger i litterally thought to myself "wait, is the series just called persona 5?? wheres persona 1 through 4 at??" becase i didnt see anything about them

Imagine being a fan of the series back in the day and not knowing Innocent Sin existed.
Eternal Punishment makes several references to the 'other side' and an alternate timeline, and characyers who partially rememeber the first game.
Its pretty surreal to play without having played the first game, but adds a layer to the depth since the main character you play is just as clueless.
Didn't know about that Persona 5 dancing game. From the clip shown I thought it was going to be called "Persona 5: Dancing in Traffic"

Yeah, I thought Yu (P4 Protagonist) and P5’s Gun Store Owner were one in the same, but the news in P5, talking about Rise being 20 basically proves it isn’t him. Yu was born in 1994 and would have graduated in 2012 (ironically the same year I graduated), so he was 21 at that time.
I also started getting into the series in 2008 with the release of P4 on PS2, because most my friends were Weebs in high school and one of my friends brought the art book to school.
i watched your p1 recap video a while ago and i very much enjoyed it, so imagine my reaction when i saw this was uploaded and recommended straight onto my feed
I just have to mention just how GOOD arena and ultimax are, not just as persona spin-offs but as fighting games cuz DAMN are they fucking awesome, they are played to this day! The way 90% of the characters movelist exist on the RPG or how the sprite work gives all of them a level of personality the PS4 game can't (because of limitations lol)
Or the original characters, Labrys and Minazuki are not just interesting on their own but they fit right in with the squad of weirdos from p4

i hope in the future they bring back a little more of what the p1 and p2 IS and EP had with some characters that come back between games and a bit more of a connected story. I like how p3, 4, and 5 are all complete standalone games, but i also liked seeing the party from p1 come back as adult persona users and be involved in the story

While you were talking about the Persona 5 Imagining Project, I noticed something pretty interesting. The Imagining Project has a Z rating which is the equivalent of the ESRB's Adults Only rating. Lol I'm surprised I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere from what I remember because that's a pretty tell tale sign from early on that the game isn't real. Most Persona games are rated for 12 or 15 and up in Japan.

In one of the interviews on ATLUS, the reason they remaked Persona 3 is due to rhe surveys they sent out. In said survey, Persona 2 and 3 are actually tied in 1st place while Persona 1 is 2nd place.
So if they REALLY wanted to. They can remake P1 and P2 since the demand is there.
I think 1 & 2 should be remade before 4. Though if they remake 4…it’s going to be really odd, because they’ll likely change the voice cast for that game too (which is going to really be odd, with how iconic the characters are; 3 will be like that too, obviously, but everyone outside Akihiko sounds pretty inline with the original voice actors). I also feel Atlus will change a few story beats from P4, if they remake it.

Makoto in the persona movies isn't treated like a self insert whatsoever, I'd argue he's the best written character in persona 3 because of those movies, his character development is honestly tear jerking, 4 of the best movies I've ever seen, great video though, peak editing and your really funny

The Golden anime really is meant to be a sequel to the original p4 anime. It makes no sense unless you’ve played the games or watched the previous anime. It’s something like a new game + of the anime.
P5 anime isn’t that bad to me either. It’s just the cheapest of the anime and is literally adapting one of the bigger games.

Oh man, I can tell you about the lyrics of Burning Men's Soul.
So, we all know sampling, right? Taking bits of music or lyrics or whatever and twisting it around and basically mixing it into another song to make a new thing? Hell, I walk through the aisles at my work and damn near every day I hear some song that samples the theme from The Golden Girls (real jarring, by the way). Point being, those samples gotta come from somewhere, and you could use ones from real music, sure, but you gotta imagine the licensing fees and legal process and stuff... yknow, if you can get your samples from, say, some German company, let's call em Masterbits, that specifically produces CDs full of tracks to use for samples, well, shit, that's gotta be less of a whole Thing than grabbing a verse of some actual hit, right? And a lot of folks do that, and it turns out pretty okay for what it is! But, yknow, you hear the phrase "sample CD" with that context, you're probably thinking, "Well, yeah, you chop it up a bit, make something new out of it, that's standard sample procedure."
Yeah, about that.
Long story short, Burning Men's Soul is what happens when you drop one of those Masterbits sample CD tracks pretty much wholesale onto an original backing track and call it a day. Bro on Swiny House's rhymes may be truly cooking, but it's, like, dishwasher baked potato cooking.

The issue with the persona 5 animation is that they gave it to A1 picture the same people behind ace attorney anime they also worked on some fairy tail movies,black butler book of Atlantic,some sword art online movies just to name a few but it does suck since they are recognised for non video game anime adaptation
