Yes Yes Yes! I loved this video, its a crime that Atlus won't touch the first three persona games in any capacity, so the modern audience and fanbase can at the very least experience them.
for those wondering, in the game you can have a maximum of 5 party members, naoya always being one of them, and depending on the route you take you have different people you can recruit. in the SEBEC route, your party consists of naoya, maki, mark (masao), nanjo and a fifth party member (either brown (hidehiko), eriko, ayase or reiji). as for the snow queen quest, your party consists of naoya, yukino, ayase, and two others (either brown, eriko and/or nanjo).
@@ItsJustBrew unfortunately no. the best you can do is make a save right before the split and reload once you finish one route and then do the other one.

@@ItsJustBrew the route is decided based on what you do before leaving the school for the second time. if you decide to go with maki and mark, you'll be set for the SEBEC route. to start the snow queen quest, you have to go to certain places and speak with certain npcs. i recommend making the save after leaving the hospital. if you want to recruit reiji on the SEBEC route, you'll have to go through some convoluted steps that you can find online, and if you want to have everyone's ultimate persona in the snow queen quest it's basically mandatory to grind a lot before the split, because the sqq consists of three dungeons, and to get every ultimate persona you have to start with the hardest one. sorry if this is a lot, hope it helps :)
As a Persona 1 apologist, I appreciate this video immensely. Only way it could have been better is mentioning the nonsense you have to do for Reiji to actually join you in the game proper. I just think it'd be funny to mention that the group randomly meets his mom before stuff goes down at the hospital, among the other requirements.

Late reply but it gets worse how the original OST doesn’t get appreciated as much as the psp’s which is bigger and considered superior over the psp which just doesn’t mesh with the game with tracks with the context losing its meaning or just “persona 3 music”
I don’t think I understood more than the 30% of the story, but it was a great video, thank you, I’ll watch it again only to understand the Maki situation and the diference with Aki
Persona 1 really had a crazy story, that I feel it's the kind of thing teenagers would love, due to its own crazy twists, sometimes to the point of overstretching itself. It did have heart on it, even if it feels a bit outdated.
I dunno if you're aware, but it's hilarious that you called Yamaoka "Alfred" and used that voice clip, because his name was *literally* Alfred in the original _Revelations: Persona_ localization. (Yamaoka was actually based off Alfred from _Batman,_ but I don't think the localizers in 1996 knew that.)
I keep coming back to this video. Partially because it's funny and well put together. Partially because how are you supposed grasp this story by only hearing it once.

Started playing persona 4 on the switch and was curious about the oldies that are not available to play (easily at least) and decided to just watch recaps on TH-cam and this was very good, any plans for a recap of the second one?
You should try emulating them, it took me only a solid 5 minutes to get the PSP P1 running, it's been a blast surprisingly I really enjoy playing it but the recaps still good because it's not the best at describing its own story tbh

I recently got into persona and bought every game in the series and have been addicted, I can’t stop consuming persona media. I lost a lot of focus in Persona 1’s story due to me playing it in small bursts at work, so l was thinking of watching a video to fill in the gaps (I decided to restart to give the game the full attention it deserves) and then this video came into my recommended like it was fate. Regardless of its quality, Revelations or Persona (PSX) is one of my favorite games. The music and environment/tone are just so captivating.
