- The Room 4 on Steam: store.steampow...
This came from my livestream on February 11th, 2021! Catch me live every day but Saturday: / northernlion
The Room is an awesome series of room escape games that we checked out last year on the Golden Goblet. The Room 4 just came out so I decided to give it a shot on stream, and I had a great time! Check it out!
"There's 3 axes on which things can rotate"
proceeds to use one axis
I escape my room every time I wake up so this should be good
still yet to find my out of mine... pray for me it's been 84 years
Stop bragging dude
Watching NL try to solve escape room games makes me feel a little better that im not the absolute fountain of trivia knowledge he is
Haha, yeah, I guess it's just how different peoples minds work
@@FluffyDragon yup, nothing wrong with that tbh
This mans reach is never ending, he can play it all. Side note, growing up has made NL that much better, the cerebral humor is worth so much more.
I started watching for "haha bald man play Darkest Dungeon."
To
'haha this man just made a referencial joke about a classical piece of literature while playing 2K21"
This comment made me take a trip down memory lane and watch a little bit of wrath of the lamb and some early rebirth and he talks drastically different than he does now. He talked so much faster.
@@Livestreamlurker dude same. Call me crazy but I feel like the most drastic change in speech pattern happened around the time of the baby announcement. I'm probably bias because that's around when I started following, but it seems like videos before then are consistently different, and it's more than just a mic change.
I love how he spent a solid r minutes trying to rotate something in three dimensions by applying different combinations of the same spinning motion
How about one of these... nope thats the same position, but how about this...
@@assiaisindegyara4905 "Oh they all need to be covered" - they all started out covered dude just CLICK THE BUTTON OHMYGAWWDDD
ALL My minutes are Solid R minutes.
Don't edit your comment BTW...That would make MY comment the strange one, and we don't want THAT.
This is the best puzzle series of all time. No one even comes close
I love the Room but 999 and VLR blow the whole series out of the water
@@MCPT59 never played those. Those are high praises
Yeah but... Portal
Thanks, Charlie. 😂
I hope this becomes a series, even though watching the beginning of that washing machine part of the puzzle was like watching Dan name Smash characters.
Life is just a series of escape rooms with varying degrees of difficulty
Im stuck at like level 3 or 4
@@assiaisindegyara4905 Trying setting the resolution to borderless
@@Mugsi (but don't try turning life off and on again. You'll fail to reboot. )
There are 2 ways to watch this.
1: But, like, how????????????????
2: EGG COME ON THIS IS SO OBVIOUS *implodes on frustration*
I am both.
POG, it returns! I remember playing the rooms 1-3 as soon as they came out and being hyped when NL played the room on the GG. I have to say, I don't quite see how this game follows in the story because I distinctly remember getting trapped on a ziggurat on Mars at the end of the room 3
I love these types of games. Thank you so much for playing this for us EGG, hopefully you make a complete series out of it.
Loved it.
The Room 4? Man, Tommy Wiseau has really gone far...
Oh hi, Ratman!
I find the best way to go about solving a puzzle like this is to just do everything once before you repeat. So spin once, then press the buttons and see what happens. If you just keep repeating the same thing over and over you'll succumb to the Void yourself
Also, don't click something then completely forget the existence of clicking things 2 seconds later
I quite liked this one really, it was about my level, I didn't really get stuck with anything much when I played it.. the only bits I generally needed hints for is when I didn't realise some things were even moveable in the first place.. which was usually the weird glowy orbs
as always extremely pogged for escape room content :)
"If we solve all the puzzles, we will get the Null"... PointerException, am I right? Am I right, eh, guys?
sometimes im humbled by ryan's genius level memory , his quick math calculations and almost impossible ability to spot connections in a conversation but then videos like these remind me we all have our strong and weak points
"Brand new" to Steam, I played this a long time ago. Loved it.
I binged all of The Room games because of you. This is infinitely pogged content.
Hey eggman, have you played 999 and Virtue's Last Reward? They're bundled on Steam as the Nonary Games. Pretty fun escape games with an interesting story.
This puzzle game is always a favorite, beautifully done abd a subtle sorry that keeps you going. I only wish the puzzles were harder in a way that required those gears in the noggin to start turning.
Got super excited to see that there was a new one before I realised this actually came out in 2018 on mobile and ive already played it lmao
I was looking at this game on Steam, but wasn't sure about it. Glad to see someone play it!
I love the Room series!!!
I am typing Y for yes I have used the Library.
Library's kinda pog ngl
Can confirm that libraries absolutely slap.
@@taylor3950 underrated gem
Heavy pog to see this return
Can we get the whole Rusty Lake games Series from you? They have a lot of cube Escape games and "bigger" once.
Rusty Lake is one of the best game Studio for those kind of games. I would like if you would make a deep dive into this series. And maybe do not stop because of the first 1-2 cube escapes or because of the confuse story. Its just a beautiful piece of the gaming world :)
I like this
It makes me feel smarter

Oh my god NL that fucking Rogan pottery joke was amazing
I need more than 24 minutes and 29 seconds. My pog gourd isn't filled quite just yet. It's getting there though
Gah! I want to watch this because I love this series but I haven't played the 4th one yet because it only just came out and I don't want to spoil the solutions.
Will like for now and be back in a month when I get around to playing this myself.
Han solo dies at the end.
Nice! I wanted to wait but I was too curious. Might skip the next eps though
I mean, it's NL. You won't get spoiled with too many solutions.
I love the man but he overthinks too much
I started watching and was having Deja Vu. Then I realised I had already played it on iOS (maybe included in Apple Arcade?) many, many months ago. So I wouldn’t say it’s a “NEW” game.
I guess it’s just “NEW” to Steam/PC.
Love a good point and click adventure
In ireland the checkout cards are done digitally with a bank card esque card that they scan so we dont getta sign anything. At least my local library
can you watch dan play puzzle rush? or have you already, is it on twitch?
love this game
Any suggestions for games like this? I really like this puzzle series.
Normally I don't mind the chat interaction but I wish he focused on the game a bit more when it's a puzzle game :/ Especially since I've loved watching the past Room games
These games are tailor made for Twitch, chat resin really came in handy
yes i love this kind of content!!
No offense meant NL, but the Room is definitely a horror game.
The main point of focus in the games is the element of Null, which can only be discovered by the presence of a living soul, and the more you use it, the greater the cost on your soul. AS, the character from the first couple of games that sent you the box and discovered the Null fashioned lenses from the stuff, lenses which caused people to see things and visions that slowly drove them insane.
Then, at the end of the first game and all through the second game, the Null traps you and AS in a neverending series of rooms, strewn about all of space and time, from which you are only able to escape due to AS sacrificing his own and the soul of an innocent woman to free you.
In the third game, we find out there are people that wish to use the Null for some nefarious purpose we don't yet know, but we are possibly given a hint in the form of a Cthulu-like entity appearing in one of bad endings.
So yeah, to summarise, the Room is definitely a horror game, just a very understated one if you don't pay attention to the lore hidden in the letters and dialogue, which is then additionally buried under amazing puzzle game mechanics.
Full play through!
The room 4, prepare to die edition
Poggers egg lord
“Requires 200 IQ”
Toast’s left nut: muahahahaha
This is POOGGG
hey NL, don't give Aspirin to kids
NL....... THE BUTTON UGH
He was too busy galaxy braining himself
someone feels my pain
I wish NL would point AND click me
🤨
What does that even mean?
what
I liked the part where he didn't click the buttons
when are we gonna meet Tomo?
Can we get NL to play the witness?
Poggie
why does he drink off camera? Does he drink from a weird cup?
Why would you escape a brand new room? Seems silly to remodel your room just to escape it shortly after
northernlion
Was really disappointed it was just a pc port of the mobile game
finally YESSS
Do more dadcraft please and understand it is not a competition
day 3 of trying to watch this without falling asleep
You should add some other youtubers to your subs, so that when someone like northern plays a game you don't like...It won't effect you as much.
Bruh. Where. The *fuck.* Is. Dadcraft.
Pogs
I love it!! but do not play more of it, it will take you 50 hours at your pace.
