No, I don't know why he gave a comedy special such a ridiculous name. He probably heard it from David Goggins, or someone equally annoying and thought it was bad ass.

Always remember that this is a guy with nearly unlimited resources, his own comedy club, has access to and hangs out with leading comedians, has a lot of free time to create, has access to and takes the leading nootropics to increase his brain function, and has taken enough mind expanding drugs to open a third eye the size of Sauron's, and yet...still...he is an unfunny idiot.
If there is a lesson here, let it not be just that Joe is a waste, it is that this even with every advantage we may just be limited as people. This is extremely humbling.

I’ve listened to 20 hours of norm on TH-cam in the last week. There’s 2 hour comedy shows taped in 2009 just days apart.
Fascinating to watch them in a row. They are half the same jokes. But they feel totally different. Different wordings, all out of order and both are amazing in separate ways.
He then would talk to the crowd abs the improv is the best. Someone shouts out a topic and norm rambles on to t and it’s brilliant.
Then I listened to him in a couple 2 hour serious interviews. He’s not on.
And he’s still funny. And he has wisdom like a Jordan Peterson. Moreso. I actually learn. Norm is a brilliant man pretending to be average. And something about that is amazing

I think the reason Joe is so detached from comedy at this point. He sells out because his name is huge. But no actual feedback/criticism ever comes. He never says that. You've completely misrepresented what he did say.
He says trans people are underrepresented compared to the amount of right wing hack "comedians" all making the exact same "jokes", which are really just political ideology masquerading as comedy.
He says what he does in response to Joe defending his thinly veiled politics posing as comedy by saying he believes in equal love and equal jokes, and it's just comedy.
The whole critique is about Joe being lazy and pandering to a political fanbase because it's easier than making comedy.
He even talks about defending chappelle for similiar material years ago, before it was so lazy.

So to say it’s a political issue or only bigots are obsessed is an insane take. It is an ideology being inserted in every facet of society, to not speak against is to join them. They created environment where you have to speak against it if you don’t agree or it will be forced on you. I don’t mind any religions but if they want to teach it as a factual class in a kids school there’s a problem. The telltale sign of a comedian being unfunny is shouting. After all, you can't notice how quiet the room is if the guy on stage is shouting. It's not universal, of course, but a lot of unfunny comedians are also very loud.
I think the distinction is if you’re already laughing /before/ the comedian is yelling then it’s emphasis. If you’re laughing /after/ then you might just be laughing at the guy yelling

It’s kind of ironic that you have decided to criticise his political bits, while inserting your own political opinions into your review of the special. You could have left it at “The political bits are stale”, which you are correct about. But weirdly inserting your own political opinions into this video is a bit odd. What should be critiqued is his timing, delivery and writing. Because he is an appalling comic.
