My grandmother (born 1899) used to sing this. She grew up within 75 miles of Dolly and had a similar Southern mountain accent. Such a lovely song!

Just lost my Uncle, a gallant man of God who gave all himself for the cause of the gospel. Not in tears because he passed away but I'm moved by how a person can serve the lord right from his beginning to the end. I pray for such grace.
