Obviously, you've considered that. Could you tell us where God's Word tells us how to differentiate worship from entertainment?
This is too contemporary for my church.
I grew in an Assembly of God church in WV, we would sing songs like this during worship service, the nostalgia is pretty strong here lol
I too grew up in AOG church. I always held to the singing more than the preaching and at 66 yrs old still listen to Gospel music daily. 🎶
Back in the 50’s grandma and grandpa played this every night after dinner on fiddle and guitar sure do miss them but will meet them in the sweet bye and bye

I am from Mexico, where I live, no one listens to this type of music and they do not worry about seeking God, but the Lord is good, He allowed me to listen to these praises, my soul lives in Jesus Christ my Savior, one day we will be in His presence and We will share the table with the Lord, Hallelujah !! this reminds me of church services of long ago when people actually came to the house of god to seek god services were sometimes going no further than singing I have seen people change their life's right there sometimes the pastor not having said anything such was the power of these gorgeous songs

I’m not a Christian, but I enjoy music like this. Very soulful
I was in a Southern Gospel band called The Gospelaires many years ago. We sang in and around Elkins, WV. The band was made up of Doloris Morals guitar and lead vocals, Vanda Gum honky tonk piano, Mary Caraher bass and me on clawhammer banjo and harmonica. What a great thrill it was to sing those songs with those ladies. We sang a lot of Cooke Duet type songs like "I Can't Even Walk" and some traditional songs like "Welcome Table". Doloris had a deep country alto voice like Sara Carter or Wilma Lee Cooper (to whom she was related). Mary sang a pure alto harmony with Doloris. What a group!!

The world is a beautiful place.
I love Southern Gospel. We've always sung 50's gospel in my Lutheran church, but when I went to Christian camp as a kid, we always sang Southern Gospel and I loved it.
Please don't think I am minimizing the musical talent by bringing this up, but these ladies dress so nice!! Happy to show my daughters.
