That's a great video, but I think different shades in the image are due to interference between diffracted (from specimen) and undiffracted light from source, not due to speed difference (which I think is constant).
Sir thanks for making this video in English because I am from tamilnadu .your videos are always clear cut to the concept and detailed points that takes a huge effort thank you sir hats off to your hard work 🔥🙂

Thank you my friend! That was really helpful! I find that there are some differences between this video and your old video about phase contrast microscopy. Probably you should revise the old video and see if it's still valid.
Sir in an previous lecture on Phase contrast microscope of you we saw that the diffraction light going through the inner side of surrounding light but in this video we see that it is going through the outer side of surrounding light.... Which one is correct sir?
amazing explanation. thnkyou sir for making such useful content. Sir can you please let me understand that if phase plate slits do not allow light to pass, then how can diffracted light pass through even slowly? It must not even allowed to enter...kindly please help with this. thankyou.
Sir, here objective lens allow both S wave and D wave?? Because in dark field microscope objective allow only D wave. Annular ring is common for dark and phase microscope??
Hlo sir ...jahan se mne padha h vha ye bataya h ki specimen light moves fast with high intensity front white region and background light will scattered from dark region by -90° so form dark background.... Sir me confused hun isme plz btaye kon sa sahi h???
