They've always been my most favourite monkeys ever since I was a teenager. We visited our nearest zoo in Belfast. I was looking into this enclosure that had bushes and things inside and I saw leaves moving and then I noticed a couple of tiny little faces peeking out 😭 I'd never even heard of Pygmy Marmosets until that day. Absolutely beautiful & so fascinating.
Marmoset dads are awesome! They will take care of the young and give it back to their female to nurse the babies.
I agree how Sweet to have dad taking care of business his babies. Humans can take lesson from these little guys.

i actually thought we (the viewer) would of witnessed the birth of the pygmy marmosets! Still, they're cute but would of loved to have seen the birth of these tiny babies! :)

I watch the TV show all the time. Its my fav show on TV and I think that this zoo takes great care of there animals. I love that they use them for breeding so that way they can keep there species alive. And I have 6 word for this video. OMG How fringing cute, I mean my mouth dropped open and OI couldn't believe how cute they are. But that's why people are buying them in the pet trade. Witch I do not agree on, I was watching a vet show and the vet was telling so young women or well teenager she must have been 18. Anyways she was telling her how to care for one and that she can not take it out everywhere case it can get sick. And all she did was roll her eyes and acted like she didn't care case she is going to do what ever she wants with her pet monkey. And its case of people like her that they end up getting sick and then they end up suffering and then they die. So I think that owning one should be against the law they are not cute little pets they do not want to be told what to do they belong in the wild unless you are going to take care of them like the vets say and they should make people take classes and get a license to keep any kind of monkeys for pets sorry but they do it for wild life why not the poor monkeys case people can abuse them and do what ever and no one cares and if they did care they wouldn't just hand on to anyone with money. See $$$$$ can buy you anything. If your rich you can buy anything for a pet and that is sad. Anyways monkeys adorable and can't weight to see the next episode of this show I am a huge fan.

Kale a, I disagree with you. True, zoos used to be unable or unwilling to meet the needs of the animals but it's very different now. In many cases, they are the only hope for maintaining the species. DNA is stored and can be used in the future to repopulate the animals in their native habitats. The zoo is the only hope for many animals. Visit a zoo and you might be surprised at what you find.🤗🙋🌹

Victoria Fuentes they are *not* going extinct YET. Some subgroups of Marmosets, like the one with golden tufts (mico leão dourado) here in Brazil ALMOST went extinct but breeding programs are helping repopulate them in their natural habitats.

I am curious I saw a video on TH-cam of a baby marmoset some guy I guess he's from India he had two of them that were a couple they had a set of triplets baby mama says the baby mama sets ate the bodies of their infants and just left their heads now why would they do that and does that often happen it was very gross some and very sad and very grossed out

L have been scammed 6 times now and there's all from Cameroon making out that they live in the UK they need injection cost insurance money that come to ,,2.500 then the delivery company just keeps on and on wanting money saying we deliver them tomorrow and u guess it they never turned up now the delivery company wants money for food and bedding ,700 pounds the day that they were coming l got a email saying that they died

Gina Powell Thank you for such a kind comment. I love all primates and Pygmy marmosets are song my favorites, but I believe that captive breeding is a cruelty when it is done for money unless the species is critically endangered. Like all wild animals, the marmosets should be given rough habitat to thrive in the wild, and we don't need to chop down forests where threatened species live so that we can have more and bigger houses and more THINGS. Let the marmosets live and reproduce on their own in their natural habitats. My point was being made sarcastically. When you type on Facebook there is really another person you are talking to, who has feelings and like all people is a mix of the good and the bad. We probably both love marmosets deeply and think they are adorable and should be left alone in their 4-tree habitats. There was no need for you to be unkind.
