Cows are so polite. I've seen many videos of them enjoying concerts and they're always in line, quiet, and at a good distance from the orchestra 🐄🐄🐄. They behave better than most humans.
Hate to burst everyone's bubble but cows will do that with pretty much anything theyre not familiar with. Try landing a parachute in a cow paddock - Ive done it twice and not only will they come running shoulder to shoulder like that they will do it at full speed, which is intimidating to say the least. Once youve safely jumped the fence and can talk to them without worrying about being trampled they'll just stand there and listen.
While hiking in British Columbia I came to a sharp corner in the trail and in a moment I was face to face with a black bear, no more than 10 feet away. Don't know what led me to this decision, but instead of fleeing, I pulled my harmonica out of my pocket, sat down on a log and while staring at my boots and not the bear, played a soft blues tune. The bear stood there listening for a good 30 seconds then turned and climbed up the hill. I couldn't believe what had just happened. A few miles down the road, while playing again, a bird dive bombed my head. Guess it's a matter of taste. Fifty years later this day still amazes me.

Cows sure do love music. When I was a kid in the seventies my uncle had a dairy farm with 80 head. When he went in at 4:30 in the morning the cows would start mooing loudly, until he turned the radio on then they would shut right up. In the winter months when they were inside all the time he would leave the radio on during the day. And if you shut it off anytime during the day they would get mad start mooing until you turned it back on. Just put of curiosity, how do you feel about the class of beautiful, sentient creatures which hunts and eats other beautiful, sentient creatures? They like music too. In fact, there were a few predators in this video. Two tigers and an absolutely adorable, beautiful, sentient beluga whale, and some dolphins, all of which happen to be predators. Like we humans are, evolutionarily. I am not criticizing your choice to be vegan. I’m just pointing your how unbelievably complex life can appear to be, when we chauvinistic humans are doing the analysis.
@stvbrsn I wish they didn't have to, but their diets are dependent on consuming flesh, and they are much more beholden to their instincts than we are. We're able to reason and have empathy, we understand pain. And we are not reliant on one food type to survive. It's a choice for us.
I've always wondered about the "why" of why animals are so attracted to music. I can only speculate, but my guess is that it's because it's a sound they aren't used to hearing in nature, and they have nothing to compare it to. Couple that with their heightened senses, and I can imagine that it quite literally "hits different" for them.
I remember a story where some scientists would regularly observe a bear taking it's food to eat at a scenic spot overlooking a valley and sometimes lingering there at staring out at the beautiful view. Animals can appreciate beauty.

Cephalopods like octopuses too are intelligent.
"Are we smart enough to know how smart animals are"
A book by Frans de Waal, biologist
The language of music is more universal than we thought.
It has hidden divine dimension.
The joy that the first kid experiences is such a nice thing to see.
He finally found someone who wants to hear his accordion.
The mariachi balooga is awesome. I'm pretty sure he actually had rhythm.
Loved how the crow responded to the intentional silences the man was leaving on the music
Amazing!. The power of music. A language all creatures understand.
No living thing can resist a good mariachi band. Love this! ❤
Seeing animals react to music is one of the reasons I became a vegan. These are beautiful, sentient creatures.
I restrict myself to only chicken, that too rarely. We get very good vegetarian food in India.
@@chetan_naik So why not be vegetarian?
@@Malumbrus agreed. Cheers!
Nobody is talking about the tiger’s reaction . That big kitty seemed to be loving it. Came close to the lady and sat beside her. Awww🥹🥹🥹
I need more cowbell!
Cattle: "If we could get a concession stand that would be great. Thanks."
As we've just learned here, ladies & gents, cows are big music fans. Especially elephants, who are noticeably enthusiastic about it.
I remember a story where some scientists would regularly observe a bear taking it's food to eat at a scenic spot overlooking a valley and sometimes lingering there at staring out at the beautiful view. Animals can appreciate beauty.
The guy on the accordion, I was waiting for the Cows to break out in chorus "" And when we're gone from here, our Friends will be drinking all the beer, Shucks."" 🎹🎻🎺🎷🎼
Gosh so enjoy this. many many Thanks for sharing this,
they can dance, sing, rejoice and enjoy musical interaction...
Great clip! It shows animals with large enough brains appreciate music just like us humans. Elephants dancing!
A beautiful way to start my day. Thank you!
Part of what the afterlife is gonna be like, y'all. 😂❤
My husband and I had a wonderful encounter with some birds in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We'd been putting bird seed out on the upper deck rail for several weeks. It was mid-Fall and warmer than usual after the first frost. One beautiful afternoon we were out on the deck just happy to be together and enjoy ourselves. Had some happy bluegrass music playing. Started tapping our feet and clapping our hands. And the birds! They all just started chirping along to the beat, too!
The first clip, with the little girl and the cows, literally brought tears to my eyes.
This is one of the cutest and amazing things that I’ve seen! The cows literally come running to hear music! This is such a sweet way to end my day♥️ Good Night
What a privilege and what joy to be able to do this!
@@user-bw2zt5jd9u-Yes indeed!! Truly!!💯💯🎼🎼🎵🎤🐄❤
Eles ficam encantados!
I love the oboe and the blue jay? Singing with the music. The cows are amazing animals so that doesn't surprise me.😊
Elephants and Dolphins seem to be either the most intelligent or most touched by music - they started dancing. So sweet!
who knew? cows like accordian? (wow) awesome!!!
Accordion to this video, that could be their favorite instrument 😋
All creation praises the Lord. Of course, these creatures have a good sense of great music.
That Beluga dancing on the water was AMAZING to see.
After years and decades of learning, practicing and working to improve my musical skills, my best audience is a herd of cows and a bird who sings along with me.
