I love these mini reviews. Great video. I played the first scenario of GH: Buttons and Bugs last night with each of the 6 characters. Decided to go with the Mindthief for my first playthrough. So far it's been a lot of fun! Difficult but rewarding
@@AfterEvenfall I think it would be a perfect way to get warmed up to the mechanics of Gloomhaven before you try Jaws of the Lion. Plus it's easy to reset everything when you inevitably ruin everything or realise halfway through a scenario that you missed a bunch of rules 😅
I am intrigued with this Swirling Heroes. Mainly for the art, they look like those artists I follow on Instagram. Strange that their BGG page is empty.
Their art is really cool! Yeah, I think it's a brand new game that did a small round of crowd funding, so I don't know if BGG will update any time soon for their info.
Watch It Played had a really good video on how to play D,D&D. Solo is quite different because you always have to be attacking a monster which is not the case in multi-player.
Not sure if you listened to my comments a few videos ago where I told you to stick with the jump cuts over dissolves, but I can tell you did it. It gives your videos a better polish. Well done. I will say that I disagree and I love Dungeons, Dice and Danger. I did watch a How It's Played video and that helped to understand it but it's the best dungeon crawler roll and write I've played. And yes, Heat is better than Downforce. Downforce is probably tied with Formula D for me. But Heat is the best racing game to be made yet.
11:10 "I do not have the expansion, so I cannot speak to that; I only have the base game." How painful was it for you to say that sentence (after your expansions confession in Bites #3)? And, yes, like you, I also have multiple expansions for games I haven't even played yet (my expansions confession).
You know... I couldn't possibly guess your age even though I've wondered. At first I thought you looked early to mid twenties. But married with children, college, mermaid show and all that, not really possible to be that young. Can't see you being older than thirty either although I may very well be wrong. Either way, I'm fine with this remaining an intriguing mystery :) Also for some reason (the reason being brain fart) I thought this one was about you reviewing board game minis. So I'm curious: what are your favorite minis, standees and meeples (stock, not aftermarket upgrades) in any of the games you own or have played?
I'm a simple girl most of the time when it comes to minis. I love the Root meeples, I just think they are absolutely adorable. Northgard comes with some really nice minis as well. I don't really have a ton of games with minis up to this point though, so I'll have to get back to you on that in the future!
@@stepbystepstories ahh do tell!! So what's the story? Her mother annihilates her at the game therefore she despises it? Or is it more along the lines of her mother played it all the time when Bailey was younger and she simply grew to despise it from playing it too much? Either way, all I know is I haven't seen this much vitriol being spewed over a game in quite some time! 🤣🤣🤣
@@gottimighty of course, being her mom, I deflect all the blame off of myself.🤣 She is happy and sweet but also VERY stubborn like her siblings. Once she has set her mind to something there is no turning it. I expect to hear about a new puppy shortly.
@@stepbystepstories She did go off on a little tangent about wanting a dog didn't she? On another note, when can we expect to see you as a guest on her channel? Maybe a game or two of Wizard? 🤣
Thank you Bailey! Happy you liked Bunny Boom! 🐰💥🥕
16:20 Yeah, I need instructions to be very clear and unambiguous, and sometimes need someone to rephrase them in ways that make sense to me.

I'm so glad to hear more about it! I might have to just get it!

Awesome video, gonna have to check out Dungeons, Dice & Danger. Love these little reviews!
Thank you!

About Good Puppers... Drafting dogs? Why? Why not keep them all? 🥹
Exactly

I should have known Rodney Smith would have my back!

Where do you get swirling heroes?

Just to clarify, you don't really care for Wizard?? 😂😂
Haha I wasn't sure if I'd said it enough ;)
I just want you to know that she only doesn't like Wizard because her mom LOVES Wizard.
